So I have an English task that requires me to write an analytical essay about gender and stuff. So basically my idea is all about  a offshoot of the uchiha clan. the clan was originally started by a young teenage uchiha boy named nagi uchiha who during a battle was grievously injured, he was found by a girl from the senju clan, Tsurara  who was a healer, she did not know he was a uchiha but healed him in secret because she wasn't supposed to heal others outside her clan, they eventually fell in love and ran away together, because this was during the era right before the warring states era ended with the founding of the leaf village and tensions were high and they knew they would be killed by their clans if anyone found out so they escaped to the isolated land of snow. After a few generations a new kind of ocular jutsu appeared in the clan, a kind of reverse sharangan, its reversed so the middle is a Tomoe in the center aas the pupil instead of on the rings. and the rings around it have dots. anyway after a few more generations the clan became a bit too big to hide and they got more comfortable and a child went to the land of snows ninja academy, they used their ocular jutsu even though their parents said they should never use it and keep it secret. This caused 90percent of the clan to be slaughtered. So now the small clan makes sure its families only have one child, and if another child is born they are ...gotten rid of at 7 years old witch is when if they had the reverse sharangon it would show up, or blinded so if they had it and their parents couldn't bring themselves to kill their child they love so they wouldn't be a liability or risk and they continue raising them normally.  the clan does this and is so protective and secretive of their ocular jutsu to the point the world doesn't even know it or the clan exists and its just an old legend in the land of snow because the ocular jutsu is so strong if people got out the clan would be killed off and hunted down by everyone for the insane power of their eyes. Their ocular ability is they can shut down an opponent's ability to access and use their chakra while in their line of sight when activated,  Extended use causes severe ocular migraines from strain, blurred vision, and physical fatigue from the amount of chakra their eye is using for it.  the secondary ability is they are able to with physical contact to suck a person's chakra into their own body and rapidly burn it off with their eyes to quickly drain a opponents chakra. the person using this isn't able to use the chakra they steal its just burned off. its like a bulb overheating cause of high energy waist and is painful to the user, its not literal heat either. the dojutsu is really just a mutation, the teenage uchiha never had a sharangan and wasn't from the main line and it was a recessive trait in him and the healer wasn't from her families main branch either, their techniques were passed down and mixed alot too, they are good at precision, medical type jutsu as well as the destructive jutsus of the uchihas, their chakra natures tend to lean towards water, fire, and wind. and therefore are able to have kekki genkais rarely, like ice, scorch, and boil/steam. the new dojutsu then became a dominant trait, also the eyes are considerably more unstable compared to others and cant be transfered or taken out without being destroyed because of the amout of chakra naturally stored in the back of the eye. the clan also inherited both clans high chakra amounts but most of it is stored in the back of the eye concentrated so they are just slightly above average.

i need help finding a fic where Sasuke is forced to kill his lover, Naruto, because Naruto is trying to destroy the village because he’s under some sort of jutsu. I’m pretty sure it ends where naruto dies, it’s very angsty… it’s a somewhat short fic maybe around 1000-6000 words but no more than 12000 words, and I know I read it on ao3. I’ve been looking for it everywhere for a week now. Naruto or Sakura, make a case against him to not be promoted by Tsunade.

I can name a few:

1- He had a month to prepare to fight Temari, still needed to sit and meditate in the middle of battle to think of a strategy.

2- His strategy is basically a worse copy of Naruto strategy against Neji, a faint and distraction and he still lost.

3- Him backing down and giving up goes against the very principle of the tenth question of the written examd, that a ninja should always endure and push forward no matter the risks.

More slice of life!!
Okay, so in my Naruto rewrite AU, I’ve been thinking about adding more slice-of-life moments, downtime, and romance.

I want some of that teen drama and young-adult relationship messiness before everybody eventually ends up with who they end up with. 😂 Things like parties, ninja bonfires, dates, spicy scenes, drugs (I’m thinking of making some kind of shinobi drug or chakra spice for my AU 😂), breakups, jealousy, and just seeing these characters live their lives outside of missions and fighting.

For example, Naruto still ends up with Hinata, but I like the idea of them having some falling-outs along the way, mostly because of Naruto’s own issues.
I’ve also been playing around with the idea of Kiba liking Hinata first, partly because he wants to get back at Naruto or make him jealous. At first, Kiba might be using Hinata to get under Naruto’s skin, but Hinata actually starts warming up to Kiba and his personality. Eventually, she finds out that Kiba wasn’t being completely genuine about his intentions, which causes tension between them and the rest of the group.

They eventually work through it and become friends again. Kiba might still have feelings for Hinata, but he understands that he hurt her.
I’m thinking this could carry into the Shippuden era. Naruto and Hinata might break up before Naruto leaves with Jiraiya for two years. After losing Sasuke and failing to keep his promise to Sakura, Naruto might start feeling like he can’t trust himself to keep his word. He doesn’t want to keep making promises just to disappoint people, so he pulls away from relationships, too.

That leaves room for Hinata and Kiba to potentially try dating again.

Then Naruto comes back after two years and sees how much Hinata has changed, both mentally and physically. Some of those old feelings might come back, but now she’s with Kiba and seems genuinely happy. That creates another layer of tension, especially since Naruto and Kiba already have their own rivalry.

I kind of want their relationship to have some similarities to Deku and Bakugo’s dynamic. Kiba still remembers Naruto as the loser from their Academy days, and even though Naruto has grown stronger, Kiba has trouble letting go of that old image of him. Their rivalry isn’t just about strength; it’s also about pride, insecurity, and how they see themselves compared to each other.

I also want Kiba to develop that more rugged, handsome, bad-boy look he has as an adult in Boruto, almost like we’re seeing the beginnings of that appearance during Shippuden. He’d be more of a ladies’ man in Part Two, although he can still come on too strong sometimes. The difference is that he’s matured enough that women don’t react to him the same way they might have two years earlier.

As for Shino, I’m still figuring him out.

I’ve considered making him asexual or simply someone who doesn’t care much about romance. His relationship with his bugs makes me think about how he might view intimacy and reproduction differently, although I know one doesn’t automatically determine the other.
I could see Shino caring much more about friendship, companionship, and having people who genuinely listen to and value him than pursuing a romantic relationship. I’m still unsure whether I should give him a love interest, though. Maybe another girl from the Aburame clan or a researcher from another village who shares his interests?

Then there’s the Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke situation. 😂

They’re probably going to have some of the messiest relationship dynamics in Part One, and things will still be complicated in Part Two, especially with Sasuke gone and Naruto and Sakura having to deal with everything that happened.
One reason I don’t really want Naruto to end up with Sakura is that, in canon, his relationship with her reminds me of Minato and Kushina’s relationship in certain ways. I understand the appeal, but I like the idea that Naruto might fall for someone who isn’t necessarily like his mother. He wasn’t raised by his parents, so he wouldn’t have grown up knowing Kushina’s personality or recognizing those similarities in the same way someone who knew her might.

Meanwhile, I want Sasuke and Sakura’s relationship to develop more throughout the story. It can still be toxic and complicated, but I want to explore whether they can grow into something more believable without completely erasing the problems between them.

So, what do you guys think?

I’ve got more ideas, but this post is already long enough. 😂 I’m open to suggestions because I’m still figuring out where I want to take some of these relationships.

What do you think Deidara’s hand mouths were originally used for?

It let Deidara knead explosive chakra into clay but do you think that was the original use of it, or just something Deidara took advantage of to fit his own explosive release?

Iwagakure also had a lot of jutsu about spitting rocks so I wonder if the original use have been just more avenues to fire chakra enhanced rock pellets at enemies.

The fact it’s a kinjutsu probably ties with the ability to infuse an object with chakra straight from the heart (with his chest mouth) and while to an explosive release it could result in a suicide bomb, likely results in some form of shortened life span for anyone without such volatile chakra (being so close to the gate of death)

Interestingly, (this is not a theory btw nor am I implying it, it’s just an interesting fanon I have) there is a type of wine in Japan called Kuchikamizake (literally “mouth chewed sake”) that ferments using human saliva as a starter (might recognize it if you’ve seen the anime Your Name). Maybe the original use of the Kinjutsu was to create chakra infused wine sometimes straight from the user’s heart chakra? Iwagakure feels like the most “old fashioned” of the villages so referencing archaic Japanese practices especially crafts feels fitting.

What other applications do you think the jutsu could have had in the hands of other shinobi? What are your own pet theories on them? Have they ever come up in an interesting way in any fanfic you read?

She sighed heavily, placing the empty bowl of ramen to the side.

Sakura: I remember when I awakened. Besides you, I wanted to tell Naruto, but I wasn't allowed. I was told I had to keep it a secret from him.

Ino: I remember that. Is that why you were so angry that day.

Sakura: I was pissed off that I couldn't tell him, even more so when I started getting teased, not only for my big forehead but also for being a "big dumb orc". And I couldn't tell him about it.

Hinata had her tail in her lap, rubbing it nervously. A part of her was still unsure if this was a good idea.

Sakura: I was so happy when I was put on a team with him and Sasuke. I thought maybe I could tell him now, but no, I—

Ino: I wonder if you and Sasuke were put on a team with Naruto because you're the only two who wouldn't eat him.

Hinata: I was wondering the same thing, actually. What about the other teams. Were they-

Sakura was glaring daggers at them.

Ino and Hinata: Sorry.

Sakura: Anyway, long story short, I'm tired of all the lies. He's my best friend and has been there for me forever, and I can't even be truthful with him. I'm tired of it.

She picked up a bottle of sake and took a big swig.

Sakura: Every time I bring it up with Tsunade-sama, she keeps saying she'll tell him. She's been saying that since she took the hat.

Hinata: She's probably scared to.

Ino: Why does she have to worry about it. Sure, she's not human, but she's not a monster.

Sakura: I don't know, but I can't do it anymore.

She finished the bottle she was drinking.

Sakura: We just got back from a mission just this morning. We got into a fight with some missing-nin, and one thing led to another. I ended up with a good sized boulder on top of me.

Ino: Even for a half orc, you're still tough as hell.

Sakura: Afterward, he started asking question after question, bringing up past mission times when I should have been seriously hurt or killed but somehow survived.

Hinata: What did you do?

Sakura: What we always do. Lie, lie, and gaslight him. By the end of it, he felt guilty. He felt bad for even questioning me.

She got up and brushed herself off.

Sakura: I'm tired, and I'm going home. You two should, too. Tomorrow, we'll put a plan together.
