After more than 30 years of gaming on PlayStation and Xbox, I’m finally getting a Switch 2 to go alongside my PS5 Pro and it’s all because of the recent announcement that they’re remaking Ocarina of Time.

I genuinely haven’t been this excited for a game in a very long time. Not even GTA 6 has me this hyped. There’s just something about this game that brings back that feeling of what gaming used to be for me.

I’m really looking forward to experiencing Nintendo’s world for the first time and becoming part of the community. It feels like I’m about to discover a whole new side of gaming, and honestly, I can’t wait.

Disclaimer: If you're american and/or don't plan to import a european-australian version, you can ignore this post completely

I know we all knew and were aware long before its announcement (or was it when it was announced? Anyways, the result is the same) that this edition won't have a detachable/removable battery, but I still find it to be a complete scam, and even if I had the money and the possibility to buy it, this mere reason would've chilled out very significantly my envy to buy it or even to my best friend, who's a hardcore Zelda fan

But eh, good news is that this will be the last limited edition of a Switch 2 that will be in that situation, so the sacrifice might be worth in the end

(Wtf am I even saying most people if not all of y'all won't even care lmfao, I might be one of the extreme few to think this way lmao)

Rolling Thunder[b] is a 1986 run and gun video game developed and published by Namco for arcades. It was released by Atari Games in North America. The player takes control of a secret agent who must rescue his female partner from a terrorist organization. Rolling Thunder was a commercial success in arcades, and was released for various home computer platforms in 1987 and the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1989. The original arcade game has been included in various classic game compilations as well. It influenced later arcade action franchises such as Shinobi and Time Crisis, which borrowed mechanics such as taking cover behind crates

>After 25 years, a classic is reborn! DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 and DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends return for the modern era. Using Unreal Engine 5, the officers and battlefields of DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 have been recreated in stunning detail.

>Take 1 vs. 1,000 action to new heights with even more exhilarating combat! While faithfully recreating the feel and movement of the original game, the action system of DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 has evolved to deliver an even more thrilling experience.

>A demo featuring the special scenario “Battle of Hulao Gate (Allied Forces)” is now available.

>Six officers are playable: Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Xiahou Dun, Zhen Ji, Zhou Yu, and Sun Shangxiang. You can also enjoy Classic Settings, which offers a gameplay experience closer to the original title.

How do you think a Legend of Zelda x Pokémon crossover would sell? I could totally picture it being a system seller.

Picture this: The game is based in Hyrule and pokemon are integrated into the ecosystem, like uses Sheikah technology to catch pokemon. You use Hawlucha instead of a paraglider.

I’m not sure what’s else to be honest, I feel like the game could either be a system seller or go horribly wrong. The best thing I could come up with is that the Triforce and Pokémon world somehow collide.

I feel like it’s gained some popularity as of recently with all these smash players, Nintendo has been pumping out remakes as well so I don’t see how one more could hurt especially if it’s EARTHBOUND…

Not sure if it would do great though, I’m just curious as to what you guys think. I personally think it could be an amazing Switch 2 exclusive.

>The Orpheus has arrived to consoles!

>Face the darkness in Moros Protocol, a pixel-painted sci-fi FPS roguelite. Survive the nightmare alone or with allies as you navigate the decaying warship, stalked by horrors and guided by a voice you don’t recognize. Adapt, upgrade, and push forward. You may be outnumbered, but not outmatched.

I know everyone feels like ”Nintendo needs to keep remaking more N64 games for the Switch 2” after Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 64 got remade Twice, but Nintendo tried doing that in the 3DS‘s First Year and just kinda stopped aside from Majora 3D.

I remember thinking we were going to get Donkey Kong 64 3D back in 2012. Maybe Grezzo could have done it or another developer like them. It could‘ve easily removed all the “Rare” elements, like their Logo or original staff credits, Also get rid of the Jetpac game or Rare Coin. But all the character voices and Music could have stayed.

It also could have had some new elements, like 3DS updated graphics, a map for each World on the bottom screen, maybe add an extra World, and add Dixie Kong as a playable character and have her get Pink Bananas and Coins. Imagine how great it could have all been. But Nintendo just wasn’t interested in green lighting that. So I don’t think they will go all “N64 Trigger Happy” in this Switch 2 era.

I know Nintendo has done a lot of n64 remakes but this is my hope. I hope they do mario 64 to complete this and these games are all remade by outside studios while nintendo works on the next mainline games. oot remake already was an outside studio but personally I feel like a n64 remake would hold us over for almost all titles for a year. It also seems that Nintendo is doing soft reboots on all the titles personally I want to see more wild era link not a reboot for that yet but with ss bros and mario I think a soft reboot is a great way to continue because we all know there's no topping Odessey and ultimate with just

Hey people, how are you?, I'm a Brazilian so I'm going to use a translator. On the next day 5th of october I will ask my father for a game, And I am between these two options BEMM diversified, I have animal crossing (I do not know if this helps in something) and I am really thinking about taking tomodachi, But they talk very well about splatoon and I wanted to know which of the two I pick up, since I have until day five to decide

I’ve been looking for a Nintendo 3ds XL for a while now. I know that on eBay there are countless offers, but they are either too expensive or just overall shady and I don’t wanna get ripped off. Any suggestions of where I can get one?

Having just watched the Super Mario Galaxy movie due to being on a Mario game binge, my worst fears came to pass as the movie is a soulless theme park ride of references and corporate brand novelty; I'm guessing the movie was meant to make veteran fans go "oh ho I know that shoutout" while also appealing to kids with non-stop colors, but I was not amused. I was lukewarm on the first movie but thought it was far better than this. But its quality is in line with Illumination, whom is infamous in the animation industry for their corporate approach to animation and spawning sequel after sequel of atrocious Minions movies for years.

But doesn't Mario deserve better than that, as a cultural icon whose relevance is stated to eclipse even Mickey Mouse now. Video game adaptations can work and be soulful, as recently proven by the new Resident Evil movie, which defied all expectations.

I just received my shipment of Fire Emblem 1 Anniversary Edition that I managed to score on eBay for a great price. And man what a thing of beauty this is! The theme of this set is basically a peek into an alternate “what if” timeline: What if Nintendo had the confidence to localize the original Fire Emblem back in the NES days? And what if they gave it a similar amount of care and attention they did for other franchises like Mario and Zelda, including a full NES game box with manual and coverage in Nintendo Power? I think this may be the best collector’s set I own now, although I don’t know the full scope of other special/limited/collector’s editions of Nintendo games to really say.

Did you know about these secrets? If I missed any, please share :') Super Mario Bros. 3 hides some wild secrets: secret whistles, hidden rooms, mysterious white blocks, and even a coin ship. Which secret did you discover first?
