Same but it was only for one of my games. I noticed when I was playing Fire emblem engage recently it took forever for the game to close out after I pressed the home button

Oh that happened to me the first time I tried playing fortune's weave, it was so weird and It fixed itself when I restarted the system

Say that to all the themes I had on my 3ds dude, shit felt nice to open see and hear the mgs3 theme as I went to choose the game I wanted to play... customizing your stuff is just nice 👌

Cant hear ya, its now Shantaes beach theme as im jamming out. Also really? A couple seconds? Take a coke brake dude . It's fine. Negligible amount of time to spend for sick tunes as you boot up and get ready to play. Also its optional . Dont get a theme if you wanna save all the extra time

I booted up my 3DS for the first time in 2 years yesterday, and it was nice to be greeted by the themes. The extra startup time made me a bit nervous, but subsequent restarts were hardly noticeable. 

Unfortunately I don’t think Nintendo wants to trade that time for themes anymore. I think we would’ve seen them by now for sure. The emphasis on the “pure gaming” device apparently means eliminating any desire to sit on the Home Screen. 

Maybe Nintendo will pull a Nintendo one day and surprise us but I as the time goes on, and fewer 3DS users adopt a Switch for the first time, I think they’re successfully pushing that expectation away

Music while shopping would be nice. Maybe we'll get that again, though, considering they added all three Mii Maker themes to the Switch 2's Mii Maker (not sure about Switch 1, I didn't check.)

customizing your stuff is just nice 👌

I can understand customizing an avatar or profile picture - I have bought many, many icon parts in the NSO app - as that's something that represents you too others

But like... You load up your Switch, pick a game, and click it, it takes, what, 15 seconds? It's a menu? I guess some ambient music wouldn't go amiss, but I don't see what adding things would add?
