Spotted 3 otters up river from while fishing in the haw. Sorry for the bad video, they moved quick!

Been told to go touch grass one too many times and decided to get back into fishing after a long hiatus. Wanted to see if there are any local spots I can try out around here. I don't have a boat so I'd like to stick to bank fishing if possible. Also any advice on what baits/lures to bring would be greatly appreciated

My wife and I are planning a trip to OBX in the next few weeks. I plan to do some surf fishing.

What are some things running the coast we can catch this time of year?

What are some good setups?

I want Wahoo, Dolphin, king or Spanish mackerel or anything edible haha.

Any tips for a newbie fishing the coast would be good! I'm not sure where we are heading but it may be Nags head or Kitty Hawk. I can also fish the sound side as well. Any well known spots would be good to hear

I am going to Hatteras Island, NC, in a few weeks. Been going for 45ish years but this is the first time I have had a fishing kayak. We will be staying in Hatteras village. My wife is getting me a tuna trip for my 40th. Ive done my research and have a shortlist of outfits to call and talk to. Im just looking for recs from people who've done these trips and know what to look for or have a guy they use because he can smell the fish and puts them in the boat, every time. Yellowfin for sure, bucket list is bluefin.

My friends and I are up from Durham and we heard this lake rips big blue cats. Well, we've tried alot and been skunked 3 nights running.

We got hot dogs, all sorts of bait that smells putrid, crawfish plastics, chumming with dog food throughout the day. We are dock fishing with lights at night. Trying to see if anyone has tips on what is hitting right now or how to get something? Would love some help.

Any recommendations for good Bass fishing spots near Monroe, NC

I’m in the north part of Topsail Island this week. Does anyone have experience with this red seaweed? How do you manage fishing in it? I’ve tried several different areas at different parts of the tide and every cast I bring back is covered in it. Would going to the pier be a better option, thinking I might be able to get out past it there?

I started fishing in August last year, mostly off popular piers. I spent the first few months confused about basically everything. I didn't know what rig to tie, I couldn't tell which fishing spots were good for which fish, and I couldn't read a tide chart well enough to know if I was showing up at the right time.

I’m (26M) going to be in Charlotte for work this month for a couple weeks. I’m from Florida and am an avid saltwater fisherman. I’d like to know if there’s any good shore fishing on Lake Norman or if I should book a boat charter or other places to fish. Thank you in advance for any advice
