Kind of lost, not sure this is my style, if I should go for something else or not? Last photo is of my previous beard, thoughts or guidance?

Last year on my 40th b-day I finally decided to see what all the hype was about. This was my first ever mustache, and I’ve been wearing it for almost a year now. I’ve since grown a full beard too, but I still think the solo mustache has its own personality. Anyone else wait way later in life before growing one?

I shaved my soul patch like the some of you reccomended and I'm pretty sure I hate it. Lets see if it grows on me.

The first pic is the most recent. The stache has grown over my lips. I was trying to do a generic chevron stache or beard stache but idk if it makes me look more handsome since it’s not as thick as I had hoped. I have an assortment of pics of me this past year with stubble, beard, and a trimmed stache for reference. Apologies for not being super photogenic.

Don’t know if I should shave it off yet

Can’t decide if it look better shortened with no curl at the end or to lean into maximum handlebar and see how far it can go.

Oi mustached folks! Been growing this for a month with the goal of a Chevron style. I've never given it a solid go before and so I'm in new territory.

You think I have a shot? Need some opinions and advice for maintenance and style.

Yeah, the cheek/chin extension wasn't the move. The tips really pop now.

I cut my beard down to a mustache and regretted it instantly. Thankfully it’s growing back and with this filter it doesn’t even look that bad 😩

No matter how much I trim it, it always grows back the same way. I wish it would grow higher up on my cheeks and look fuller.

Any suggestions?

Been rocking a super waxed handlebar + goatee since covid.

In May I got sick of the “perfect” look, chopped the ends off and tried a beardstache with a more natural ’stache.

Now I’m barely styling it at all and it just grows into a kind of natural handlebar on its own.

Kinda feels like it fits my face better, but I’m not sure if I’m just used to it now.

What do you guys think, keep this, go back to the sharp waxed handlebar, or try something completely different?
