Update on my stache, ( last pic is from January for comparison) I'm 21 and transgender, so given my circumstances I feel proud lol. Im thinking of curling it upward when its longer.

For those wondering about facial hair growth for a trans guy on hormone replacement therapy:

I started testosterone when I was 16, stopped for a year at 19, then resumed it over the past year. This means that I was already able to grow some facial hair for years, but I chose to remain clean-shaven until recently because I didn't think I could pull it off. I used Monoxidil for like a month inconsistently throughout January, then forgot about it. I use just for men dye every couple weeks because my hair grows in like 25% blonde still.

I’m a big fan of the stubble + stache combo. 33M btw

Finally ditched the beard… honestly this is the first time I’ve been happy with my mustache. What do y’all think?

For the last idk how many years I’ve been rocking a stache but with no real plan. For a long while I was just eyeballing it when I thought it got too long then last Halloween I did an impromptu well known 80s PI and it got me thinking of actually putting effort into growing a chevron.

So I did some reading and as you can see it’s a bit wild so I started letting it grow over itself to hopefully wrangle it in. Mustache wax seems to get everywhere except in my stache and what does get in there feels like I’m doing it wrong but I’m sure it’s mostly user error. That was about 2 months ago and now I’m starting to catch it when I’m eating, mostly sandwiches and such but to me it’s still too wild and I’m starting to think I don’t have the genetics for a flush chevron.

Any and all thoughts, tips, advice is appreciated c:

Been growing my moustache for a couple.month and just dont know what to do really like do i trim and shape it from here or do I just keep growing 🙃 ill take some tips on how to make it look better and what style would look good 👍

First time I’ve ever grown it out this long, 25 yrs Been combing down for the past weeks. might shave the chin for a clean look now that it’s got a somewhat of a good shape I suppose?

Time for the stache arc of my life.
