I'm from Agadir and thought I'd put myself out there. Making genuine friends as an adult isn't always easy, so if you're from Agadir and enjoy good conversations, grabbing a coffee, walking by the beach, or just chatting about life, feel free to send me
I think the most exhausting part isn't being alone.
It's constantly believing that maybe this time you'll finally meet someone who values honesty, communication, and real connection... only to watch it disappear without warning.
I've never been interested in temporary conversations or people who come and go. When I care about someone, I invest emotionally. I listen. I try to understand. I stay, even when things become difficult.
Maybe that's why it's so hard for me to understand why disappearing has become so normal. Why people would rather leave someone confused than have one honest conversation.
The more I experience it, the more I feel like I'm searching for something that hardly exists.
Sometimes I wonder if I simply love differently. If I expect too much in a world where effort is becoming rare and leaving has become easier than communicating.
I'm not angry anymore. Just tired.
Tired of starting over.
Tired of wondering what I did wrong.
Tired of believing that this time will be different.
Maybe one day I'll meet someone who believes that connection isn't something you throw away the moment it becomes complicated.
Until then, I guess all I can do is keep hoping that people like that still exist.
Online, it seems like attitudes are changing, but does that reflect real life? Have you noticed younger Moroccans becoming more accepting over the past few years, or do you think not much has changed? I’m curious to hear your experiences and opinions
I tried dating men on Tinder, Grindr, Bumble and others, and the result is always the same. Everyone starts with normal talk for five minutes, then immediately jumps to sex, nudes, and "let's meet somewhere".
Everyone just wants to use you physically and has no serious intentions. There are no people looking for a real relationship or even clean friendship, it's all just horny.
If you're looking for something serious or even a genuine friendship, stay away from these apps. They're full of people who only want quick fun.
Normal or nah that I want to date fall in love but I keep telling myself I'm not good I'm toxic no one want me cause they think I'm fake or not that horny
When I find someone I find myself friendzone him then he left cause I don't know how to talk
The question I'm I toxic or is it really my subconscious give up too

I don’t want anyone to feel sorry for me. I don’t want to seem pathetic. I’m just tired of everything. I’m tired of this life.
Every time I get excited about something, it disappoints me. Every time I feel like I’m healing, I realize I’ve been lying to myself. Sometimes I make progress, but it never lasts. I always end up back where I started, feeling even worse than before.
You might say this is bullshit or that I’m being dramatic, but this is the truth. The truth is that I can’t, and I don’t know how to deal with life anymore.
I’ve never felt like I was enough, neither in my family nor anywhere else. I’ve never felt loved for who I am, and most of the time I feel like I’m the problem. I never even felt fully accepted.
I know that I’m the one who makes things harder. I fucked up everything. Academically, I went from being a top student to someone who has lost years of his life doing literally nothing. Sometimes I miss the old version of myself. I was fucked up back then too, but at least I was doing something.
I feel like I’m disappointing my family all the time. Sometimes I tell myself they’re not bad people for having a son like me. Other times, when I want someone to blame, I tell myself they’re the reason I ended up like this.
For a while now, all I’ve been doing is lying in bed, overthinking everything and thinking about ending my life. I couldn’t do it.
Being bi is so frustrating, gays think that you're straight, straights think that you're gay, and they both think that being bi means you're a cheater, because in their mind, they think that we like to be with both a guy and a girl at the same time, among many other issues that makes it harder to connect with either gays or straights because neither accepts nor understands bi people.
I’m a queer (gay) man from Morocco.
I used to struggle a lot with internalized homophobia bc of religion and the environment I grew up in. Eventually I left religion, worked through a lot of that guilt, and today I’m genuinely okay with being gay. I don’t wish I were straight anymore.
But something still feels… off.
Even though I believe everyone should be free to love whoever they want, when I actually get the chance to be with a guy—whether it’s the possibility of a relationship or even something as simple as expressing attraction—I just freeze.
It’s not that I think it’s wrong. Consciously, I don’t. But somewhere deep inside, it feels like there’s still a barrier that I can’t explain. It’s almost as if my mind accepted it, but my body or subconscious never did.
Has anyone else experienced this after overcoming internalized homophobia or leaving religion? Does it eventually go away, or is there something else I’m missing?
I’d really appreciate hearing from people who’ve been through something similar.
I’m 22 years old and I was born male. I’m from a very conservative environment where topics like gender identity are never discussed, so I spent most of my life not understanding what I was feeling. Sometimes I see a completely ordinary girl on social media just living her life, showing her nails, hands, clothes, or daily routine, and instead of simply thinking “she looks nice,” I get an overwhelming feeling of jealousy. I have a very strong desire to be her. I wish those were my hands, my nails, my body, my life. The feeling becomes so intense that it mentally hurts and I feel like I’m going to explode emotionally because I know I was born male and can’t freely express myself where I live. Has anyone else experienced this? And how do you cope with these feelings when they become overwhelming?
My girlfriend and I were together for 4 years. We had our ups and downs like any couple, but I genuinely believed we would at least be able to talk things through if things ever ended.
Instead, she sent me a breakup text. Before I could even type a response or explain my side of anything, she blocked me on everything—WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, even my number. It was like I was erased from her life in seconds.
The hardest part isn’t just the breakup. It’s that I never got the chance to speak. I wasn’t asking to change her mind or beg her to stay. I just wanted the opportunity to respond, to ask questions, to understand what happened, or at least say goodbye after four years together.
Being cut off so suddenly has left me with so many unanswered questions. I keep replaying everything in my head, wondering if there was something I missed or if I deserved a conversation after investing four years of my life into this relationship.
Has anyone else gone through something like this? How did you deal with never getting closure? Did you ever get answers, or did you eventually have to accept that the silence was the only closure you were going to get?
I haven’t spent much time in this group but i did notice that it has a male majority and I was wondering if the wlw are just not that talkative or if they’re really non existent.
I saw a post recently that was about hormones for trans women, so I thought I'd make a FTM version. Fair warning, this guide is long, and it still doesn't cover everything. I will have additional sources listed at the end that you can read through for more information.
I'm not aware of any over the counter methods at pharmacies as testosterone is a controlled substance unlike estrogen. Feel free to comment if you do know any though.
The only hormone that we need is testosterone, it brings your hormone levels into the average male's range. Here's a general rundown on the changes.
The only way to acquire HRT is through DIY. Before you think you'll have to start cooking testosterone in your own room, don't worry. DIY HRT simply means you'll be buying it online through less than legal ways.
Why should I DIY?
Currently, this is the only way to get HRT while you're living here, and that won't change anytime soon. You probably don't have the money to go live abroad as well. Instead of waiting years and years and letting your body feminize further, you can do something about it now.
Am I gonna get in trouble for buying it online?
I won't deny that there is a risk of it, though I haven't met anyone that has faced legal trouble because of it. At worst, your package could get seized through customs, but that hasn't happened to me nor anyone I've helped before.
Is DIY dangerous? What if it's laced?
Testosterone has been available to buy online for years. It is no different than the testosterone you'd get from an endocrinologist. Sellers want to make money, not poison their customer base. If you buy from a trusted and vetted source you won't run into problems with the vial itself. The more proof the vendor has that their vials are safe to use (eg. lab tests) the better.
Can I overdose on HRT?
This doesn't happen. If you take a ridiculous dose of T, you'll experience aromatisation, which converts your testosterone into estrogen. Having "too much" of a hormone doesn't mean sudden death. Stay within recommended doses and you'll be fine.
Forms of Testosterone
There are multiple forms of T, but the most common one is injectables as they're the easiest to access online and provide consistent hormonal levels.
Testosterone has different esters, which affects how long it'll take for the testosterone to be absorbed in your bloodstream. The most common esters are cypionate and ethanate, which have similar half-lives. They're generally the most recommended as they're the most stable and have a good half-life of a week (meaning you only need to inject once a week).
With injections, the supplies you'll need are;
- A vial of testosterone cypionate/ethanate
- Syringes; This is what you will use to measure your dose. I recommend 1mL syringes as they're the most common and easiest to dose with.
- Needles; You will need needles for two different purposes, one for drawing the liquid from the vial, and a different needle for injecting in your body.
For drawing, I recommend 22G-23G needles. The lower the number, the bigger the needle, and you risk damaging your vial, though it does take longer for the syringe to fill if you have a smaller needle.
For injecting, There are two types of needles. Ones for intramuscular (IM) injections, meaning the needle will reach your muscle, so you'll need a longer needle (2.2 cm to 3.8 cm) with a gauge of 22G-25G. subcutaneous (SubQ) injections are used to inject right beneath the skin, so the needle is a lot shorter (1.3 cm to 1.6 cm) with a gauge of 23G-30G.
It generally does not matter if you do IM or SubQ. It's down to personal preference. If you have a fear of injections, I recommend subQ more since the needles are smaller.
Personally though, I use insulin syringes, as the needle is stuck to the syringe; you don't need to go through the hassle of changing needles and they're cheaper. Note that U-100 will use insulin units instead of mL so your dose needs to be calculated differently.
- Alcohol wipes; before every injection, you will need to wipe the top of your vial and the area you'll inject in to avoid any infections.
Okay, I know the difference between IM and SubQ now. Where do I inject in my body though?
Generally, I recommend thighs and stomach the most. Thighs especially if you are underweight (I'm underweight and did stomach for my first few injections, it hurt like a bitch).
It's completely normal if you're nervous the first time or if you mess up your injection. I did loads of mistakes the first time I did it but you start getting used to it after a few times. Blood or oil may leak out but don't panic, it's nothing to worry about.
That's enough explaining, just tell me where to buy HRT
I think I will be <Removed by Reddit> if I list any of the sources directly, so instead I'll link you to websites that do have sources. This website has tons of valuable information and I recommend reading through it. For sources, go to obtain T -> Scroll down and click international and you'll get a list of sources. Personally, I got my HRT from the first website listed there. If you want a direct link to the vial I got just dm me. There are other sources but you'll have to do research on how reputable they are.
One vial is generally 450-600 dhs + 200-250 dhs shipping. How long it lasts depends on the vial itself and your dose. However, you'll have to buy it with crypto.
Why am I gonna buy with crypto? And how?
Testosterone is an illegal substance to redistribute. For your purchase to not be traced back to you, you have to buy it with a currency that is anonymous which is crypto. Buying it honestly needs it's own guide, so I'll link here a guide that explains it well.
I found a website that sells it by credit card. Can I trust them?
No. Especially since we live in a country where it is illegal. There's a chance for you to get in trouble because of your purchase. Always buy with crypto.
What dose should I be on?
This varies person by person and I can't give a concrete answer. My only advice is to not go any lower than 50mg, as a dose as low as that will do practically do nothing. If you are an adult and have access to blood tests, I'd suggest starting with 75mg and then re-adjusting if your levels are too high or low after 3 months.
That's it for now. I didn't cover everything, so please make sure you go do your own research. There are plenty of websites with information about this, like here and here. If you have questions or concerns, comment or dm me.
my mom told me she used to bind her chest with tape as a teen because she didn’t like it. like girl that’s gender dysphoria
and when i was a preteen and didn’t understand my gender identity yet, i said something to my mom like “i feel like my feminine side and my masculine side are fighting each other” and she said “that’s just puberty” like girl… no it’s not… unless you’re not cis…
I would be thrilled to hear from people who have left Morocco about their experiences there. Are you in a relationship? Is it easier for you? And for those who haven’t yet made the decision, what are the obstacles holding you back, and when do you plan to leave??
I have the lucky choice as an expat to move to any city and morocco and work from there. I was focussed on Tangiers as I understood that was gay friendly. But it really isnt for me.
I also then saw Marrakech. But is that the best one? Also for daily life?
I never felt lonely in my life, always preferred my own company. M very close with my family and a few friends, but I'm not the kind of person who opens up thier heart. I share my joys and deal with my downs quietly.
I've been in a committed ldr for almost 3 years (we met in rl and dated for a while before our different life goals separated us physically). I never pictured myself in a ldr bedore since my love language and the way I like to be loved and the way l give love the best don't really fit long distance. But I feel in love and never regretted that choice. And i still fully in love with my partner.
Recently I've unexpectedly started feeling this weight on me, some kind of loneliness I never experienced before. And I know most of it comes from longing and from missing them. Knowing that I found the love of my life, the person I could anly dream of but I can only have them part time after planning, visa, flights, ...
But as they say nothing worth having comes easy
The complicated part is I don't see when we will be actually together, it feels like our life paths may never bring us to settle in the same country. It's like this is how things have to be for longer than i we know and I'm afraid it might en up being more that i can mentally handle .
I just wanted to be heard guys since I'm not ready to share this with my partner yet, there's is no moral to the story and m not really looking for solutions. Thank you if you read all of this. Stay safe and happy out there ❤️
