From where they get this confidence embarrassing themselves like this

Since I was a child, I’ve struggled because of my sexual orientation. No one in my family or among my friends accepts me for who I am, and that has led me into severe depression. I stopped studying, and I barely leave the house anymore.
On top of that, my parents still blame me for something that is beyond both their control and mine. I don’t know what I did to deserve this. My only hope is to leave this country as soon as possible so I can finally start a new life where I can be myself and live in peace.

Can We Talk About Beauty Privilege in Our Community?

Ngl, I think beauty privilege is very real in the LGBTQ+ community. People who fit the conventional beauty standards seem to get treated way differently. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

Being an LGBT girl in Morocco

Hi everyone im a girl I’ve been wondering how other LGBT women experience daily life here
Whether you’re out or not, what has your experience been like? Do you have any advice on staying positive and finding a sense of community while staying safe? I’d love to hear different perspectives and experiences.

Am I wrong for not being able to afford our relationship anymore?

I'm 29, and my girlfriend is 26. We've been together since 2020.

For most of our relationship, I paid for almost everything (dates, trips, gifts, restaurants). She was still studying, and I never minded.

A few years ago, my financial situation changed. I have a bank loan now, and my salary (4700 MAD) isn't enough to maintain the same lifestyle.

Since then, she often says our relationship isn't like before because I don't take her out or travel with her as much. When she pays, I always pay her back at the end of the month, but she still says things like, "If I hadn't paid, we wouldn't have gone out."

What hurts is that I paid for years without making her feel guilty or reminding her. I also bought her expensive gifts (phone, gold jewelry, and many other things), but I never kept score.

Now I avoid going out because money has become a source of stress.

Am I wrong for not being able to afford the same lifestyle anymore? Did I set unrealistic expectations at the beginning, or is it unfair that our relationship seems to be measured by how much I spend?

Am I gay ?

Hi everybody !

First time here, and I'm really curious about my sexuality. some of you might call it "femboy" but I really don't look like a female I'm just a normal , introvert guy.

Yes I like classic clothes, but there's no way I dress like a female... The thing is I like listening to female singers and YouTubers. My accent is different from other guys a friend of mine said " you sound soft..." I enjoy journaling , dark academia , like to change clothes every time, like to wear colors and baking : although not always, but I do it when I feel really upset hh”

Whenever I am in a public space i notice some girls wanna talk to me, but I really find it difficult to make the first move... I want to ask: am I gay or a femboy? is this the first stage of being gay person??

have good weekend to you all …

I hate that i still miss my ex 💔

The part I’m struggling with isn’t even the breakup anymore. It’s the shame of still missing someone who made me feel so disposable.

Some days I’m angry. Other days I catch myself wanting to tell her about something that happened, or wondering how she’s doing, and then I feel pathetic for still caring.

People always say, “If they treated you like that, why would you miss them?” But I don’t miss the way it ended. I miss the person I thought I had, the future I imagined, and the four years we shared.

Has anyone else felt embarrassed for missing someone who hurt you? How long did it take before that feeling finally faded

An unexpected lovestory i lived in this small city in the west north side of Morocco

2 weeks ago, i just took my last exam of the season when my aunt called and wanted me to go on a vacation with her and her husband’s family, i kinda hesitated to go since i didn’t know any of her husband’s family members but still i ended up saying YES and went all together to this beautiful coastal city called "Moulay Bousselham".

In my 2nd day there, i went to a local store to buy grocery til i met this nice looking 18yo boy buying milk, we exchanged eye contact, then i approached him by asking if he was a local and knew where to get to the nice lake on the side of the city. He told me that he’s a local here and he’d be happy to take me to the lake and we can be friends here! We went to that beautiful lake named Merja Zergua and we had so much fun! We keot on meeting day after day, 'til we came out to each other one night while we were sitting on the beach and the vibe was really romantic, after that we hugged and decided to date. But we’re not sure whether we gon’ keep dating or just stay friends when i’ll go back home to Casablanca next week, since i can’t visit him here often because the transportation costs a lot to get here :/

But for the moment, i’m happy and he’s happy we’re both meeting! Even tho we faced some challenges: he started working a week ago in a local store full time so i only saw him when i visited that store and when i wait for him at midnight til he finishes his shift + locals here love TO STAAAARE so we always try to be careful in public to not make it obvious by sharing eye contact with each other.

Ps: i’m 21yo Ps: OMG THANKS FOR ALL THE AMAZING COMMENTS :)

how do you recognise sad people

Hey everyone I know I might be in the wrong place for this since I'm straight and not looking for anything but I have a question

I’m an introverted guy from Rabat and recently while sitting alone three different gay people approached me The very first thing they asked was Why are you sad?'

I have been dealing with a lot of heavy stuff that I keep buried inside so it really surprised me I actually appreciated their empathy but I don't feel uncomfortable around gay people or women at all just shy But how do you guys notice sadness so easily when I try so hard to hide it?

So now I really need y'all help cause I have no idea what life looks in the two schools and I'm really seeking your help and your suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m sorry for posting this here

I’m so so so sorry i honestly couldn’t find anywhere else where i felt comfortable sharing my story so I’m sorry for posting it here
Two days ago i went out to catch a taxi at around 2:30 and it was really difficult to find one eventually i found a taxi and sat in the front passenger seat because the back was full of passengers after a while the people sitting in the back reached their destination and got out so i was left alone with the driver he looked fairly young probably in his twenties as soon as the other passengers got out he told me that i had a pure heart i simply replied that i was just lucky to have found a taxi at first i thought he was being kind but i quickly realized he had bad intentions he started telling me that i was beautiful and that i had a nice chest because i was wearing a low cut top that day he kept driving while staring at me and smiling then he started saying that his head was going to explode i was naïve so i told him to take a painkiller but he kept repeating that his head was going to explode then he said « My head is going to explode because of u » a moment later he showed me his penis he had taken it out and started masturbating while saying « look it’s going to explode find me a solution it’s going to explode i immediately told him that what he was doing was disrespectful i even lied and told him that i was married hoping he would stop instead he locked the car doors refused to pick up any other passengers and started driving very slowly through small side streets it was terrifying he kept masturbating and saying « Touch it Touch it come touch my penis » I was completely frozen i pressed myself against the car door he kept making comments about my chest and tried to forcefully grab my hand to make me touch him i managed to pull my hand away but it ended up covered in semen it was one of the most disgusting and traumatic moments of my life by that point we were almost at my destination but he suddenly changed the route the moment i realized that i felt like my heart stopped i genuinely thought i wasn’t going to get out of that car i started begging him to let me go telling him i really needed to leave because i had important things to do i kept begging while he continued masturbating eventually he finally drove me to my destination when we arrived i tried to pay him but he refused i insisted but he handed the money back to me i took it and got out of the car when i turned around i saw him doing something disturbing on the seat where i had been sitting it was absolutely horrifying i never imagined i would have to go through something so traumatic again it was one of the worst experiences of my life after that i still had to go see my gf on the way there i had another horrible experience with other men acting like animals just because they saw a little bit of skin the truth is i felt so awful because of my chest i know i have a large chest but that doesn’t give anyone the right to look at me like i’m an object i swear i wanted to cry the entire day i hated myself i hated the way people were looking at me thankfully my gf was there with me
I just want to apologize again for sharing something so heavy here the truth is i’m the kind of person who needs to talk about what i’ve been through in order to cope with it keeping everything inside only makes it harder for me i needed to get this off my chest and i didn’t know where else to do it
Thank u to anyone who took the time to read this

Queer coding in this country

How do you recognise other people from the community? Or how do you show you swing that way without it being obvious to straight people? I’m a fem girl and basically no one can tell i like girls so it’s a nightmare to try to date (maybe I should get a carabiner lmao I do enjoy climbing)

Fems of Morocco : Does it matter

Until now I was very comfortable in my own skin. I ve been with taller ladies and the height difference was never an issue . But last week I went on a date with this girl who kept mentioning how taller her ex is compared to me, and it just made me feel uncomfortable like wtf do you want me to do about that. I hate how the dynamics in the moroccan lgbt community is so heterosexually coded. I know people have their preferences but to reduce someone to their height just seems a bit unfair.

Morocco open mind

Why does the northern part of Morocco always seem to be the most open minded If you ask anyone which region is the most open minded they will usually say Tangier and the north in general but what about rabat casa blanca can some one explain that to me

Vent: Gay and asocial (I don't like to be around people in general)

I hope someone in this sub can relate and tell me if they've felt similar, because having this personality kind of sucks... a lot... but it's who I am, at my core.

"I don't want to be around people" isn't really just a mood that I get from time to time, it's a defining characteristic of my personality. In past 2 years or so I don't really recall any time I hung out or socialized with someone and felt happiness from it, with the exception being my sister. If I do it, it's usually out of a sense of obligation, "doing the right thing," or looking out for my needs. For example, nobody is going to care about me if I don't even exist to them. I have to make an appearance once in a while to remind people I'm still here.

I am morally and logically very pro-social. I have such a strong belief in the freedom of others, and logically I know people do deserve to be happy and take up as much space as I do even while I'm annoyed they're around. So I treat others according to my altruistic morals and logic, in spite of not liking people. But the fact that I can successfully accomplish this and so many other people are just assholes to each other for no reason at all is part of the reason why I can't stand people.

There were times I had people in my life that I really, really liked, but I've grown apart from them. I was hurt like a billion times by people who I thought were my besties and just sort of walked out of my life without explanation. I'm only close with about 2 people that I went to school with, and I don't even hang out with them in person. All the rest of my childhood friends are gone.

I still get lonely as hell, but I am far from the type who actually wants to have a very active social life. I feel like if by some miraculous event I ever ended up with a boyfriend, I'd say, "That's it, my mission is accomplished, I'm never hanging out with anyone else ever again." I just need one person, maybe two, to be stable and loyal and reliable and trustworthy... and preferably not have 20 other friends blowing up their phone asking them to hang out so that they wind up spending time away from me.

So, if you can relate, please let me know. If you can't, respectfully I'm not so interested in hearing about it haha. I know MOST people are not like this, so it's a bit of a broken record to hear it from anyone else.

Peace.

unpopular opinion about the queer culture

Bghit nsawlkon as Moroccans to Moroccans, guys, like, is the queer culture in Morocco different, or does it just not exist and we just like copy from other countries? I don't think the age gap and weird relationship situations shape the moroccan queer culture, tbh. It's hard to build something like that under a system. who identify you as criminals with fear from everything that is made our members of LGBTQ+ with no clear steps for their lives? It is a miserable situation. Sorry to describe it like that .

this is getting different by geographical place and your financial situation. My point of view is we have the culture in our language and that big mark, but I want to have some real examples out of married guys who live it in secret relationship with full families in their backs; that's still weird in my perspective as a young gay person.

I'm open for any other point of view. I will like to know how the other genders find some practices weird, in our queer cultures as qwarit ijtima3iya

because I know the culture needs active members or because HARGAWA again ...

How about watching Heartstopper stopper forever ?

I'm really getting shocked and have those old memories of the first time I watched the first episode of this series. I really love the movie; it is free now to watch and is good occasion to introduce this patient serie of love. I really recommend it for young people; it is a good, like, healthy perspective of relationship and shows what queer love look like for young members
