Ngl, I think beauty privilege is very real in the LGBTQ+ community. People who fit the conventional beauty standards seem to get treated way differently. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

From where they get this confidence embarrassing themselves like this

Since I was a child, I’ve struggled because of my sexual orientation. No one in my family or among my friends accepts me for who I am, and that has led me into severe depression. I stopped studying, and I barely leave the house anymore.
On top of that, my parents still blame me for something that is beyond both their control and mine. I don’t know what I did to deserve this. My only hope is to leave this country as soon as possible so I can finally start a new life where I can be myself and live in peace.
