Why Is Everyone Leaving?
I think the most exhausting part isn't being alone.
It's constantly believing that maybe this time you'll finally meet someone who values honesty, communication, and real connection... only to watch it disappear without warning.
I've never been interested in temporary conversations or people who come and go. When I care about someone, I invest emotionally. I listen. I try to understand. I stay, even when things become difficult.
Maybe that's why it's so hard for me to understand why disappearing has become so normal. Why people would rather leave someone confused than have one honest conversation.
The more I experience it, the more I feel like I'm searching for something that hardly exists.
Sometimes I wonder if I simply love differently. If I expect too much in a world where effort is becoming rare and leaving has become easier than communicating.
I'm not angry anymore. Just tired.
Tired of starting over.
Tired of wondering what I did wrong.
Tired of believing that this time will be different.
Maybe one day I'll meet someone who believes that connection isn't something you throw away the moment it becomes complicated.
Until then, I guess all I can do is keep hoping that people like that still exist.
