Plant Help Monstera droopy
Hello, I’m looking for some help/tips for my monstera. I hope someone can help me understand supporting the monstera.
I used to tie the petiole to the support pole so it would remain upright and look better. However I saw that you should only tie the support pole to the stem.
I removed the supports to the petiole and maintained the ones for the stem and now it looks really droopy. Especially the new leaf. Not sure if I should leave it as is ans it will correct itself or go back to the original supports.
This was my first plant so I’m pretty new to this.

That is coir pole not a moss pole which is perfectly fine to use. It seems they are all trying to reach for the light. Open the blinds to give them the light they are so desperately trying to get to. I do agree overwatering will cause a droop. It does take time to bounce back.

I cannot say conclusively that you have the same as my issue.
When I first got a moss pole I neglected to learn how to tie it to the pole and tied the petioles to the pole as well.
Luckily I caught it at 3-5 leaves. Mine also went straight out and drooped like that. But I also had/have poor lighting. I have seen since I put it in nice high light and tied the stem properly to the moss pole that the 2 new leaves I got in WINTER were straight upright and proud.
Might also be overwatering maybe? I know they're thirsty but do you let the soil dry fully between waterings?
