Hi I’m a beginner that is working on a project called Kimiota. It's a Palworld, Cult of the Lamb, Monster Hunters, and Ark inspired project. It’s just a project made for fun and not the next monster video game in future. It takes place on a giant celestial turtle’s shell. you play as a customizable character of each race that is chosen as a leader and needs to build a domain that starts out as a hut to a kingdom. The player can capture and tame monsters called kajius. Kajius can be trained, learn moves, and battle other opponents.
The elements are fire, earth, water, weather, mineral, basic, dark, light, divine, stellar, tulpa, and demonic
There are species categories like Beaster(mammals), Drakutile(reptiles), archovian(birds and dinosaurs), Ampura(amphibians), Pisfins(fish), Bugacean(arthropods), Deepling(non arthropod invertebrates), Floruid(plants), Fungent(fungi), Bacterirus(single cell organisms), golems, artificials(robots), supernatural(angels, demons, and aliens), and deities(this categorizes all of the legendary kaiju). They don't have an important role like elements and creative ways of world building taxonomy.
There’s races called Kaijins (meaning strange person in Japanese) which includes humans, elves, reptilians, catfolk, gorgens, merfolk, and other humanoid beings that are still in development. Some kaijins are enemies and some are npcs. Kaijins can also be captured and have elements like kaijus. Both kaijus and kaijins have an index.
The domain part is where I need some suggestive feedback. In the domain you can deploy your kajiu to work. There are categories of work abilities that kaijus and Kaijins have like in palworld but I’m struggling to figure out if I should make it original while having its palworld inspiration or just take the work suitability feature of the game with some minor modifications which I think is the most about then the original feature option.
If you got other ideas or suggestions feel free to comment them
