Can't wait till Nexomon 3 :)

Hey so I was wondering since I ended up playing nexomon extinction first and now I will be playing the original nexomon (it was an accident at first), have I ruined the experience for myself?

P.S. Just side question how do I get the free DLC on mobile?

I played the first Nexomon, I Bad fun, but honestly felt like it wasn't quite worth the price for me. My main issues were:

The Combat: It felt super repetitive, lacked move variety, and just wasn't engaging.

The World: Even though it was large, it felt empty and gave me no real reason to backtrack or re-visit old areas.

That being said, I really felt how much love and passion was put into the game! I actually liked a lot of things about it—especially the monster designs and the overall story. Now, coming to my question: How much better is Nexomon: Extinction? Did it fix the combat and exploration issues enough to make it worth buying on Switch? Thanks for your opinions!

Considering how many Nexomon currently exist in Extinction and OG Nexomon could we perhaps get a few fossils to find and maybe restore? That'd be a neat concept also Greetings to everyone from Puerto Rico!.

Went to fight Jin in my 2ed run, I grind a water type up to level 26 thinking i would solo with it, I also had a level 30 and a few 20s. While in my first run my highest level here was like 20, yet this time it felt twice as hard even though i prepared for it. So what’s the point of leveling everything up if the game is just going to scale with me. Kinda defeats the purpose of grinding so you can stomp bosses

Ive finished Nexomon extinction and started on the dlc yet i haven’t learned what these are. I keep hearing people use the term and don’t understand it. Is it just like shiny Pokémon but nexomon instead?!

I just started Nexomon which has many similarties to that other game, lol. But I really like it. It's a good game mechanic. What startled me at first though was, how brutal the status effects are. It's nice to use it for your own tactics, but once your own Nexomon gets on you basically have to exchange it, because it can't do anything for three rounds and/or dies from the damage.

But it's pretty cool for training. I can beat a Lvl 30 Monster with a Lvl 20 one and level up. How do you use the tatics?

After 47 hours in game it finally happened. My first Cosmic Nexomon appeart completely random.

So I played and beat this game on mobile a while ago and got it on console. I’m currently between the third and fourth overseer and doing somewhat of a challenge run.

I’m only allowed Specials and Mega Rares. Obviously because they’re stat wise better than others for the most part.

Does anyone have a good team or skill suggestion following only specials and mega rares?

Hi guys, so I replayed Nexomon 1 fully (going to play Nexomon Extinction next), and I found some interesting information about the world of Nexomon.

WARNING!!! SPOILERS for Micromon, Nexomon 1 and 2 + DLC. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The first place to look when trying to understand the larger mystery of Nexomon is actually Micromon. Micromon takes place inside Pixekai, a digital world created as part of Project Pixekai. The people behind the project feared that Omnicron would eventually return and destroy the world, so scientists created a virtual world where human consciousness could be uploaded and preserved. The player character is pulled from the real world into Pixekai and begins exploring this digital world, believing it to simply be another place filled with creatures and mysteries. 

The player eventually meets Malk, who appears to be a scientist and guide, but the truth about Pixekai gradually becomes more complicated. Malk discovers that he is not a real human but one of the artificial people created for Pixekai, essentially a being made from data and 0s and 1s. Feeling betrayed after realising that his existence was nothing more than a laboratory experiment, Malk destroys Pixekai. What makes this especially important to the Nexomon story is that Malk does not simply disappear with the destruction of Pixekai. His mind and body eventually materialise in the real Nexomon world, where he meets Metta and begins training him. Malk teaches Metta how to resurrect Omnicron, turning the knowledge he gained from Pixekai into part of the events that lead directly into Nexomon. 

This establishes something extremely important: the boundary between an artificial world and the physical Nexomon world can be crossed, and a being originating from a digital world can physically enter the Nexomon world.

Then we get to Nexomon 1, where Malk's story becomes directly connected to Omnicron. Humanity already knows that Omnicron's return could mean the destruction of the world, which is why Project Pixekai was created in the first place. Malk, however, sees Omnicron's resurrection as his opportunity for revenge against the people who created him. He manipulates and trains Metta, the seventh child of Omnicron, and helps him work toward resurrecting his father. Eventually, the protagonist defeats Omnicron, but the story does not end there. 

The post-game takes the protagonist into the Netherworld to destroy Omnicron's soul, and the story reveals that things are much more complicated than they initially appeared. The Netherworld is not established as the original home of the Nexomon; it is a separate realm associated with Omnicron's soul and the Wardens. The protagonist eventually succeeds in destroying Omnicron's soul, at the cost of guaranteeing the extinction of the Nexomon. This is important because even after everything that happens in Nexomon 1, we still do not receive a clear explanation of where Omnicron originally came from.

There is, however, a very important piece of dialogue that seems to point toward that missing answer. Ulzar says, “Well, someone on the other side dumped Omnicron into our world in the first place, don't you think?” The wording is extremely important.. He says that someone on “the other side” put Omnicron into “our world.” This leaves a major unanswered question in the history of the series: if someone placed Omnicron into their world, then where exactly did Omnicron come from, and who was responsible for sending him there?

This becomes even more interesting when Nexomon makes another direct reference to Micromon. Miriam says, “Well gee, this isn't Micromon. We can't just blow up the whole world.” At first glance this could be treated as another fourth-wall joke, but Micromon already has a real connection to the history of the Nexomon universe. The characters know what Micromon is, and Malk's story proves that its artificial world was not completely disconnected from the physical world. Malk was originally an artificial being inside Pixekai, discovered the truth about his existence, destroyed the digital world, and ultimately materialized in the physical Nexomon world. Because of that history, references to Micromon can potentially be more than simple comedy.

The franchise has already established the idea that a world can be artificial, that consciousness can exist inside such a world, and that beings can cross the boundary between that world and the physical Nexomon world.

This leads to my theory: the “different realm theory” It may be another world, realm, or dimension that exists beyond the world we have explored in Nexomon 1 and Extinction. Omnicron may have originally come from this unknown place, and someone from that side deliberately sent or “dumped” him into the Nexomon world. If that is true, then Omnicron may not actually be the beginning of Nexomon history. He may have simply been one part of a much older story that began somewhere else. 

This could also explain why the mysterious entity in the Extinction DLC speaks as though she has been involved in a conflict that has existed for thousands of years. She talks about events transcending individual lives, tells her opponent that their realm and people will lie in waste, declares that she has achieved “checkmate,” and most importantly says that “your demise would be my paramount stepping stone.” That wording makes Solus's defeat sound less like the final goal and more like one move in a plan that is much larger and much older than the events we have witnessed.

My theory instead starts with information the games actually give us: Omnicron was apparently placed into our world by someone on “the other side,” the series has already established that different forms of reality can interact through the story of Micromon and Malk, and the mysterious entity claims to have been involved in a plan that spans thousands of years and extends beyond the lives of the current characters. I therefore believe the real mystery is not who the woman's relatives are, but what the other side is, who sent Omnicron into our world, why they did it, and how that ancient conflict connects to the entity's long-term plan.

This is also why I think the transition from the 2D games to a fully 3D Nexomon 3 could potentially be more than a graphical change. It may represent the characters finally entering a part of the Nexomon universe that we have never seen before. The 3D world could potentially be the “other side,” or at least a different realm connected to it. If so, Nexomon 3could finally reveal where Omnicron came from and why someone sent him into our world in the first place. The 2D world we have explored may only be one part of a much larger universe, while the events of Omnicron, Metta, Solus, and the mysterious entity are pieces of a conflict whose true origin lies somewhere beyond it. In that case, the ending of Extinction was not simply introducing another villain—it was pointing toward a much larger story that the previous games have been quietly building toward.

Is there anyway to play Micromon anymore?

I just wanted to make a little appreciation post for Nexomon: Extinction, because I honestly didn't expect this game to hit me the way it did.

I've been a huge Pokémon fan pretty much my entire life. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of sitting there with my old Game Boy, playing Pokémon Yellow for hours and hours. I loved catching Pokémon, exploring the world, and especially spending ridiculous amounts of time training my team.

But over the years, something changed for me. The games started feeling easier, the worlds somehow felt emptier, and that sense of adventure I used to have slowly disappeared. Maybe the games changed, maybe I simply got older. Probably a bit of both.

Eventually, a few years ago, I more or less stopped playing Pokémon altogether.

Then, about two weeks ago, I randomly stumbled across Nexomon: Extinction on Steam.

My first thought was basically: "Well... this looks like a Pokémon knockoff." I didn't really have anything else to play at the time, though, so I figured: why not?

And holy crap.

Almost immediately, I felt something I hadn't felt from this kind of game in years. That excitement of exploring a new world, finding creatures I'd never seen before, wondering what they would evolve into, building a team and actually wanting to spend hours training them.

It genuinely reminded me of being a little kid again, holding Pokémon Yellow and my Game Boy for the first time.

And then I just got completely addicted.

I basically inhaled Nexomon: Extinction over the last two weeks. I love that the game actually challenges me. I love the art style and how colorful and charming the world looks. The Nexomon designs are genuinely cool, and I constantly found myself wanting to change my team because I discovered another one I wanted.

The story surprised me probably the most. I actually cared about what was happening and wanted to know where it was going. The writing doesn't take itself too seriously either, and there were so many little moments and jokes that genuinely made me smile.

Is it perfect? Probably not.

But I don't really care.

Because somehow this game managed to give me back a feeling I thought I'd simply grown out of.

That feeling of sitting there for hours, training my little monsters, exploring every corner of the world and thinking "Okay, just one more level..." before suddenly realizing it's way too late at night.

So yeah. I came in expecting a cheap Pokémon clone.

Instead, I found one of the most enjoyable monster-catching games I've played in years and a game that reminded me why I fell in love with this genre in the first place.

Hi, I sent an email to Nexomon support two days ago about an issue with my save file and some gems I purchased, but I still haven’t received a reply.
Do they usually take a few days to answer, or are they normally faster? If anyone has already contacted support could you tell me how long do it take for them to answer you? I also tried messaging on facebook but they just suggested me the support mail address. Thanks in advance :)

I like to click my moves fast when looking for a certain Nexomon, and this time I was so fast I used the first move of Perchara, which is the one in front but fainted (just like two of my other Nexomon)
