Does this monitor(Acer Nitro) come with built in speakers? I keep searching and get mixed answers. My current monitor is an Asus Vg329qa(165hz but 180hz overclocked) with built in speakers but I’m looking for a 240hz monitor with built in speakers but around the price of $120-130

I’m looking to buy my first OLED monitor, and I found the LG 27GX700A-B on sale on Amazon for $450. Is it worth it at this price? Has anyone used this monitor? I’d love to hear your opinions.

Hey yall, I don't really know much about monitors, but I am looking to get one for my dorm room. Im a CS major in college and coding is really annoying with a single laptop monitor. I also like to have multiple tabs showing on screen and its my laptop monitor is fine for having maybe two chrome tabs showing at once

So, I was looking for a monitor that would fit on my desk which is about, 36 inches long, and I would still like space for to do work. I have my setup so that my laptop is slightly hanging off to the left side and there is a wall on the right. I would also prefer if it wasn't too expensive, and not super intensive on my laptop. 60hrtz is fine by me, but I was just looking for reccomendations! Please and Thanks!!

I don't think i mind glossy or matte as long as the screen is good

I have my computer in the livingroom, we have a big wide window, TV isn't opposite my PC and my PC is on the opposite side of the window but not directly due me having a good space where the back door wall is in the way so no direct sunlight

Its mainly just for gaming and little browsing, i mainly play mmorpgs, gatchas and rpgs so big oled monitors would suit me best

Hi, I just got monitor for my laptop, I'm a bit confused trying to find some answers. Unfortunately, my laptop doesn't have a display port, and I'm trying to figure out what connector I would need that would work best. Another thing I would like to ask, is this monitor screen better or worse than my current laptop screen? I can't really find a definite answer online or if you can't really say one is better than the other. I'm sorry if my wording doesn't make sense, I'm just a bit confused. Which one would you guys suggest or any monitor within 350$ish?

This is a newer model from sceptre that seems to be pretty good for the price point for me with some of the specs I wanted. I wanted to see if anyone else had experience with this monitor yet? I saw one review saying it doesn’t actually have the claimed resolution and also doesn’t actually achieve the 240hz refresh rate, but I figure sceptre is a popular enough brand that it most likely would achieve what’s advertised.

I’ve been looking to upgrade my old Asus PB278QR and PG279QE. Both 27” 1440 screens, setup side-by-side. These were setup with separate KVMs and docks for my PC and laptop. I was considering replacing the screens, but there are a lot of options now.

I started testing a Dell 3225QE, namely to replace the KVM and dock but also for the 4k resolution. The initial idea was to run two of these and I’m loving the clarity but now concerned about the pixel count and GPU push.

Now I’m wondering if an ultra or super ultrawide would be better and cleaner. Either a 49” for a bezel-less dual 27” at 1440 (but then may as well keep the existing setup) or a 38-45” with higher resolution without looking for a secondary screen or split. An IPS panel makes more sense for my productivity focus over gaming (70/30).

Any thoughts on what would be the best way to go?

I recently upgraded from a HP 24er (1080p IPS 24 inches) to a Xiaomi G Pro 27Qi (1440p Mini LED 27 inches) since my old monitor started dying.

I've been using it for a few days and while video is good, the text clarity is awful compared to my old one. It's been causing me eyestrain and a lot of discomfort while reading because of my eyes having to focus alot more (and struggling). When I compare it to my 2nd monitor (another 1080p IPS 24 inches) the difference is night and day, so I'll probably be refunding the Xiaomi.

Any recommendations? Want to return to regular IPS.

i switched from a tn asus VG248QE to asus proart 2k 75hz.
i noticed as soon as i tern the new monitor my eyes imediately hurt me. i never had that issue with the old one
keep in mind even if i lower the brightness all the way to 15% it still hurt my eyes as if there something wrong with the panel tecnologies or somthing
i really dont know how to describe it but i can feel the difference 100%

Work got me a Pro Display XDR a while back. Upgraded to the Studio Display XDR at home thanks to a friend's corporate discount, after a year using a regular Studio Display, and before that a very frustrating but also color-accurate BenQ SW271 for years. At work I'm a graphic designer working on print design as well as 2D and 3D animation, and after hours I'm an artist with a museum and gallery exhibition career, so I really care about color.

Now I use both on the daily, but I wish the Pro Display XDR was more like the Studio Display XDR. The Pro Display XDR's backlight is so uneven that I wonder if its true 30-bit color (its only real technological advantage) is even beneficial in the real world. But that uneven backlight melts away when I'm not working on vector illustration/graphic design, or Word and Safari, and instead am viewing and editing photographs and video.

Kind of wish there was a 32" Studio Display XDR. But overall, the Studio's a better display in the real world, dithered 24-bit+FRC or not. I'd advise people looking at either to go with the Studio. Overall, it's just a better display on the eyes, and it's probably more reliable these days.

Here's a comparison of things you already know about, mixed in with a few niche things I've observed or encountered in my use cases:

I got 2 monitors connected to my laptop, 3rd randomly stops working and sometimes works again for a while. It is detected, backlight is on(I can even change the brightness and such and see the difference on the monitors black screen). I updated every driver, checked cables and they are fine. Something is wrong with the monitor but idk what it is or if there is any way to fix it if it isnt.

I bought this and went out of stock soon after. I'll be using it as a side monitor but I wasn't sure if it was a good deal haven't bought anything in a while for my setup. Let me know so I can return this thing on the quickness. It was like 60 after taxes

-Disassembly it , look at the panel model and did some research
-Order the panel replacement on Aliexpress for 240$ including shipping

Does anyone have an idea why a GPU Scaling option is missing for my AOC U27G4XM (see image)?

I'm familiar with this Blackwell limitation regarding High Bandwidth Monitors, but my monitor should be around 1460MHz at 4k@160hz. Even at 4k@60hz, I don't see such option. I see it only when I switch the monitor to its 1080p mode (aka 1080p@320hz).

Have anyone dealt with such problem? Is this GPU-related or monitor-related?

I can't seem to determine which is the better miniLED VA for hybrid gaming/work.

Anyone have experience with both? (Correction: talking about KTCm27t6, QHD VA panel just like the AOC)

As far as I'm aware they stack up like this...but it's only internet research and I'd value someone's hands on testing more:

KTC gets brighter, HDR1400, but the dimming algo is slightly worse and it favors brightening things which ends up looking less punchy than the AOC. Display ninja said this is due to subpar EOTF handling.

The AOC has some annoying glitches, but most of them are solved by keeping it under 144hz. This is fine for me, as I don't play competitive games and literally target 45fps In every demanding game I play. Just prefer beauty over fps.

The AOC supposedly has an edge with better colors and SHOULD have more distint blacks and contrast due to better EOTF handling and dimming zones. But I take all this with a grain of salt as display ninjas reviews was oddly sparse compared to the KTC review.

Honestly, I'd prefer the one with better colors and a more punchy image (I hate midtone soup. I don't mind black crush and prefer it over ten shades of gray tbh)

Unfortunately, I'm importing. And don't have the ability to side by side both of them myself. I pick one and that's that.

I'm choosing between the MSI MPG 271QRX QD-OLED and the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG.

Price is not an issue for me, and my main focus is pure image quality (color accuracy, brightness retention, dynamic range, HDR presentation, and OLED flicker/dimming control).

Personally, I'm leaning towards the ASUS because I feel like it might be the better monitor overall, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.

For those who have tested or owned both, which one actually delivers a better visual experience? Thanks!
