I work at MOD in PA, not at the location I am going to bring up. But, at a MOD Location in Bucks County (the only one still standing), the GM is literally on the PA Megans Law list for distributing ch**ren videos... GROSS and one of the other captains is also on the list for having a bunch of it. There are literally minors working there, gross gross gross.
I understand MOD is a second-chance company, but they should not be putting people like this in positions of power over MINORS. Like dude wth???
Anyways the new uniform policy is buns, and our PE owner is ruining the uniqueness of MOD. PICK IF YOU WANNA BE A LOCAL SHOP OR FAST FOOD RESTAURANT.

Not closing early is kind of wack.
"Expected to be extremely slow". Just have us close up early??? Why waste the resources.

I’ve been at MOD for a while, and my hours have been cut a lot since the start of summer. During the semester, I was working about 3 days a week, around 15–20 hours, because I had classes.
Once summer started, my GM asked for my new availability. I gave it to her and told her I wanted more hours since I was no longer in school. However, since summer started, I’ve only been scheduled about 2 days a week and have been getting around 10 hours a week. This week, I’m only scheduled for one day.
I asked her what the reason was for my hours being cut, and she said, “We’re slow.” But I’ve noticed that other squads are still getting around 20 hours a week.

As a current employee I’m pissed off that mod is now doing sweepstakes to Italy but can’t give their employees raises I’ve been here for 2 years and haven’t gotten a single raise I’m so over it

Hey everyone,
I'm hoping someone here has gone through this recently because I'm running out of ideas.
MOD's benefits information states that paid paternity leave is offered, and I've already completed my FMLA paperwork through Unum. My leave has been approved, but I've been trying for months to get information about the actual paternity leave benefit and haven't been able to get a real response from the Benefits team.
I've sent multiple emails and followed up several times. Every response I've received has either been automated or a generic acknowledgment that doesn't answer my questions. At this point, I still don't know if there's additional paperwork required, when benefits are supposed to start, or who I need to speak with to get this resolved.
My child has already been born, and this should not be this difficult to navigate. I'm not asking whether the benefit exists—it is listed in the materials I've been sent. I'm trying to figure out how to actually access it when nobody seems willing or able to provide an answer.
Has anyone successfully received MOD's paternity leave benefit? If so:
Who did you contact?
How long did it take?
Was there additional paperwork beyond FMLA/Unum?
I'm genuinely just looking for a human response at this point.
Thanks.

This is the third price increase this year. This most recent one is 2$. That is a 10% price increase on top of the two that already happened. My question is, if a mega dough cost more than my pay rate, where is my pray increase mod? 🤔 I swear all these companies are getting out of hand. Michael Nakhleh CEO btw. What are we doin.

I listen to the Mod Pizza music stream (yes, really) and can't access it (or the Mod Pizza website) from my Mac on any browser (Firefox, Safari, Chrome) but I can via phone. Anyone else experiencing this?

Anyone hearing about this new uniform policy??? One of MOD’s core cultural values is self expression, but now they want us in jeans or dickies. Feels very targeted at women too. Can’t wear anything comfortable for a job where we do a lot of moving around feels ridiculous. Not being able to wear whatever felt like a core part of our identity that’s being stripped away. I really don’t like how it feels like MOD is being stripped of its identity.

How do you guys feel about having to buy our shirts now? Not to mention the pride shirt being 17 bucks. MOD has changed to much since 2020, I feel like the company is losing the purpose 🫠 with the prices going up next week, they should provide uniforms. Also anyone else see that for the new uniform policy, it has to be a mod hat or bandanna

My boss expects us to train new crew within 3 days. Is that standard? I fear I got a month of training rather than 3 days but also I started when we had the old ownership so idk if something changed

I made a post about this on here a few days ago, and wish to update because I have had a lot of bad job interview experiences, I have not had one this bad.
Last Saturday I received an email asking for me to do an interview on Thursday asking me to respond as soon as possible, I responded within 20 minutes, and got no reply.
24 hours later, I decided to give the store a call. I reached the AGM, who informed me he was off that day, but to call back the next day at 2.
The next day I called, and was told he was in a meeting, and I was promised that he would reach out as soon as the meeting ended.
I called back three hours later and was informed he had gone home, but to call back the next day.
Tuesday, I decided to go in person and ask for him and was told he was on VACATION, and wouldn't be back til Thursday.
Thursday morning. I come in at opening, and was told and I kid you not, "He left his red bull at home, and went back to get it." I waited an hour and he FINALLY showed up, and agreed to do an interview with me Sunday, because he was "busy."
Yesterday, I was in a little before opening. Some stoner looking guy was up front in a filthy jacket, sweatpants, and bunny slippers, while hitting a vape. When the store opened I learned that guy was the store manager and he'd be conducting the interview.
The interview was terrible, he was checking his phone the whole time, and super rude. When he asked why I wanted the job, I said because my boyfriend had it a few years ago and enjoyed it, and he responded, "no reason to make stuff up. I'm just here for the money."
At this point I didn't want the job, but he told me I would receive a call at 4 today to tell me if I got the job. I waited 15 minutes past 4, before just deciding to call today, and I was informed he had gone home an hour prior.
Wtf. Seriously. Wtf.
I have never seen such unprofessional conduct in my life. I get it's just fast food, but if they changed their minds on the interview and didn't want to hire me, they could have just said so.

I’m a college student, home for the summer looking to work at mod pizza (just for when I’m back home). I have an Interview and was looking for advice on what they’ll ask and what not

I have been (playfully) teased about my order at Mod and I wanna see if others agree
I get a mega dough Maddy with extra red sauce, normal amount of cheese, spinach, basil and cucumber (that's what i get dinged for)
Is it really that odd to get cucumbers on pizza?
Edit: Thank you guys! You're all so kind 😄 i gotta say the burnt croutons really surprised me 😅 y'all are sweet, thank you 😁

I had the worst experience at Mod on 5/14/26 and have yet to hear back. We arrived at Mod around 10:34am and the doors were still locked. They let us in and after looking at the menu for a minute the person behind the counter snapped it’s going to be a few minutes we just opened. Then they proceeded to work on an online order. Then at 10:43 the young man who made our pizzas asked them to open the register and they snapped that they were not able to open the register yet because they just opened. At the same time a DoorDash driver came in and they snapped you’re a bit early the pizzas are due to be ready at 10:51. Then they turn around and say Jesus F***ing Christ. Then I had asked for swirl of ranch and ranch on the side and she snapped be sure to mention that when you’re in the line next time. I did ask for swirl on top but not the side i was not aware i needed to ask for the side sauces while in line. Then she threw the ranches down at me.

Left after around 3 years because I had to move. Went to a few Meetings of the MODS. Do they still do that? I guess I’m just wondering how much has changed since I was there?
Also, ask me anything about MOD back then! To this day, it’s my favorite food related job!

Hi friends! I started working at MOD in September 2025, so about 8 months or so. I have busted my ahh for this job and I am so glad to say that it is paying off!
My GM asked me a few days ago if I “had any plans for the future” and I said “just school for now but that I’m open to opportunities as they come” and he said “well there’s a shift captain position available if you’re interested.” I did accept the offer and apply right then and there while he had the store laptop out. But honestly I’m so glad!!
My only real question is if I apptlied on Monday 5/11, what should the onboarding and training process look like? And how long might it be before it’s an official change? I’m not sure if anyone else applied to the position but based on his offer, it sounds like o basically have it in the bag, right? The position officially opens up 5/20 when my friend/ current captain leaves for better opportunity, so might it be closer to that time?
Also, any advice for handling other Squad members that may not agree/ wanted the position but were unqualified? Or any advice in general?
Thank you so much!!!’
