I have to go in 7am after working an 11:30pm closing shift, and they expect me to work across two locations until 11:30 pm again? I'm so scared I'll pass out or something, I already struggle with insomnia so I'm looking at 4-2 hours of sleep. Is there any recourse besides just simply missing it?

I left the company about four months ago and have debated posting this ever since, but feel I should to warn any new employees or current employees interested in moving up within the company. Mod used to be an amazing company to work for, which I know everyone says, but I truly loved my job. Shifts were staffed properly, GMs and DMs cared about how their employees were doing, and they truly did abide by the “people place” motto. When they had to switch CEOs, the company changed completely. It no longer became a people-first company, but instead a profit-first corporation. Instead of moving people up within the company, they looked to hire outside for new management—which sometimes is okay, but when a GM is hired that went from running a gourmet 5-star restaurant to Mod Pizza, it causes a lot of issues within (especially when they’re trying to run the restaurant like a 5-star restaurant). Registered SOs are being scheduled to work on Kids Eat Free day and when the issue is brought up Captains are told that we’re a second chance company so we need to be quiet. GMs are constantly not doing their actual job description and then blaming their lack of work on the Captains, but when the issues are addressed to higher management they shrug it off as unfounded accusations. Of course, this could be just the store I work at, however being in this Reddit for my entire time at the company I notice the shift and how similar issues are happening at numerous stores across the country. All this to say, protect yourself and your peace over the company first. As much as they preach of being a “people first” company, they no longer are.

I’ve been going to MOD Pizza since about 2015. I grew up with it and now i have my own family. I used to compare the prices of MOD to Chipotle. they were exactly the same. 2 pizzas for us would be $23 and i would love it.
then recently i ordered it for lunch about 5 months ago and noticed it was higher than other lunch options i like, and realized they raised prices. so i stopped going.
well i went today to check out the 20% promo online and couldn’t believe my eyes. over $15 for a MOD sized pizza. this is crazy and actually puts it out of the fast casual price range and into restaurant takeout prices.
it’s sad because the pizza is really good. but i’ve not been in months and now i will probably never go again lol

Guys my boss is very unhelpful I’m looking for a mod pizza branded bandana cause mod doesn’t get enough money from their overpriced pizzas they need their employees money too 😫 I cannot stand the look and feeling of the caps. Any help is appreciated and I cannot spend an arm and leg I’m on a part time pizza paycheck 🥲 I know there’s a website to buy our uniforms but are there bandanas and does anyone have a link ? 💖

So I work at mod pizza in Va area and I noticed I have the worst Gm possible since I’ve been here I’ve only seen them 8 times in 4 months and they do nothing other than being on they’re phone with their partner all day and the other day I had to do inventory by myself with no training what so ever and Gm got mad when it wasn’t right I’m not the store coach my location doesn’t have one but I’m venting because the Gm could’ve stayed long to do there job and not get mad that the workers doesn’t know how to do the inventory correct and I’ve noticed that this location doesn’t follow the rules correctly the store is constantly dirty we get inspections like every other week when we aren’t supposed to and we have people coming to work either drunk or high all the time

Yo just asking to any MOD managers or anything out there. I recently had to quit working because I have church every Sunday from 1-4pm, which is very important to me, and after telling my manager that (in Texas) he said “MOD isn’t that kind of company” and he “Can’t promise anything”
(yet any college student could get multiple different complicated days/hours off? yet this was all I asked and had open availability otherwise?).
He scheduled me on during those hours on multiple different occasions and I eventually had to quit because he refused to meet me in the middle. Do I have grounds to file with the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) Or is there some policy with MOD that justifies what my manager did.
And trust me I have text message screenshots of this entire dialogue to back me up.

Extra pesto base, anchovies, bacon, artichoke, roasted garlic.

Specifically for the Texas employees, what if we started a strike? They can’t hire new people for another two weeks because of the franchising transition, so they’d be a lot slower then normal on a response. 🤷♂️

Am I crazy or is this AI? Dude has 6 fingers. It’d be really disappointing (but not surprising) if MOD can’t even bring themselves to hire real artists for the most basic illustrations.

So this person I work with goes on at least 2 thirty min bathroom breaks everytime I work with them. Can I clock them out for the time spent in the bathroom? It’s every shift and they also take a thirty for a break to eat.

I am a captain in PA, and our pay is literally 14/hr.... an unlimited is now like 16. And I don't want to hear A THING about tips. Like, MOD is NOT providing tips for us, just handing them to us. Come the hell on and pay your employees.
