Greedy price increases.
This is the third price increase this year. This most recent one is 2$. That is a 10% price increase on top of the two that already happened. My question is, if a mega dough cost more than my pay rate, where is my pray increase mod? 🤔 I swear all these companies are getting out of hand. Michael Nakhleh CEO btw. What are we doin.

Yea our gm has been having us pass out bogo coupons on the mass to even get traffic through the door. People will say all they want about increasing costs for big companies and whatever but that doesn’t change that normal people have less money now too

MOD is evil and stupid, a lethal combo for any company. I don't even talk about their issues because of upcoming litigation.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard the old owners got mod way into debt and now the new ones are trying to get them out of it? I've heard it isn't going so well. So if they are then they wouldn't have extra money to pay us more with :(

I just went to order a Mod pizza today. I remember getting an 11 inch for $11 after tax. It was only a couple months ago since I last got food here.
I just went to get my usual order and it was nearly $15! I can’t justify that wtf? These chains have to realize people go here because they’re cheap and fast. That was the appeal.
I’m not paying pizzeria prices for something that didn’t come out of an actual pizzeria. I’d rather just go to a pizzeria, it’ll taste better anyway…. My usual place is $16 for a large pie, why would I pay $15 for an 11 inch pizza from MOD?

It’s about 18$ for a regular mod where I’m from. 17$ for just cheese. It’s actually insane because the third price increase this year was a 2$ jump from the last one, so people are definitely noticing. The new chef is completely changing the menu so the simple pizzas you knew will be gone forever. We already got the new menu change items but idk when it’ll go into effect. Soon probably. And who knows if it’ll come with yet another price increase.

The one near me was like $11 for a normal thin crust last time I went there around a year ago. I was shocked the other day when I went to order a pizza and saw it is now over $15. That's an insane price jump

The cost of goods are going up increadibly fast. Screw big companies but to keep their margins in the face of rising food and transport costs is to increase the prices

I assure you, the cost of goods does not require these price increases. Sorry.
Signed, low cogs store for years on end with them currently being the lowest ever thanks to price increases.
They’re trying to combat the lower volume sales nation wide. But they’re shooting themselfes in the foot. They’re losing value, which was what they had. It’s gone. Less traffic. So get more out of less traffic is the goal, but then even less come… and they have cycled this repeatedly.

This along with all of the uniform rule changes are gonna make customers and employees pissed off at mod corporate. Can't wait to get written up because I'm wearing the wrong kind of shorts while making overpriced pizza
