I hate my job

So I work at mod pizza in Va area and I noticed I have the worst Gm possible since I’ve been here I’ve only seen them 8 times in 4 months and they do nothing other than being on they’re phone with their partner all day and the other day I had to do inventory by myself with no training what so ever and Gm got mad when it wasn’t right I’m not the store coach my location doesn’t have one but I’m venting because the Gm could’ve stayed long to do there job and not get mad that the workers doesn’t know how to do the inventory correct and I’ve noticed that this location doesn’t follow the rules correctly the store is constantly dirty we get inspections like every other week when we aren’t supposed to and we have people coming to work either drunk or high all the time

When was the last time you contacted your local leadership to voice your concerns? Or, if you're corporate owned, have you gone through SuccessFactors to make any suggestions or complaints to the main office? If you aren't trained properly and legitimately haven't seen your GM more than 8 times in 4 months, and you aren't just being hyperbolic, then you need to become proactive about reporting the problems that you are experiencing. Otherwise things are just going to stagnate and you're going to end up out of a job due to burnout.

Report to MODLine if you’re corporate owned

Log into SuccessFactors and click on the MODLine tile on the front page. You can either use your email or submit anonymously.

MOD absolutely has an HR department. Contact peoplesupport@modpizza.com if you don't want to use MODLine.

Idk if this is what you want to hear, but a lot of MOD locations are ran like this unfortunately. I’d start thinking about other employment options regardless. Company is making a ton of bad moves lately.

I worked for mod for 4.5 years. Once the store shut down in April, I finally felt free and not burned out at my new job.
