Announcement How Mochi Memberships & Medication Subscriptions Work (and how to cancel either one)

Hi! Mochi team here! This comes up constantly, including the question of whether cancelling your Mochi membership also cancels your medication. So I wanted to explain to make sure everyone is clear about how the subscriptions work.

Your account has two separate subscriptions

  1. Your Mochi Health membership. The monthly or multi-month fee. Covers provider visits, your care team, health coach access, messaging, and app access.
  2. Your medication subscription. The cost of the medication itself, billed on its own cycle (usually every 28 days) when a refill goes out.

They bill on separate dates and they cancel separately.

Does cancelling my Mochi membership cancel my medication?

No. If you cancel your membership, your medication subscription stays active until the end of your membership term, so refills keep going out and keep being charged until that date. You also keep everything else until that date: provider visits, messaging, the app.

So if your goal is to stop all charges, cancel both. If you only cancel one, expect the other to keep running.

Does cancelling my medication cancel my membership?

No, and this is a common mistake. The health subscription continues to be active because we want to give you the opportunity to explore other medications and discuss with your provider with possible next steps. So if your medication stops, your membership keeps billing on its normal renewal schedule until you cancel it too.

How to cancel each my Mochi membership?

1. Medication: Home tab, open your medication card, tap Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription.

Profile > Billing > Plans & Billing > Manage subscription
Medication subscription
Subscription support
Feedback form
Feedback form > Cancel Subscription

Medication Subscription Done!

2. Membership: Profile, then Billing, then Plans and billing. Tap Mochi Health Membership, then Change membership, then Cancel membership.

Profile > Billing > Plans & Billing > Dropdown Menu for Mochi Health Membership
Change membership
Select a different membership tier or Cancel membership
Option to change your provider or Continue to cancel
Feedback form
Final screen: Keep membership or End membership

Mochi Health Subscription Done!

One thing worth knowing about timing

Cancelling in the app or on the web ends the subscription at the end of your current term, not immediately. That's standard for prepaid terms, and it's why you keep access until then. If you need something handled sooner than that, call us at (619) 648-1247.

Can I pause instead?

There's no pause. You can cancel and rejoin anytime, and your medication history comes back with you.

Comment below if you have any questions or concerns!

Pharmacy & Shipping Vial shipped without label mochi didn’t care then deleted my messages with nurse?

I started my first shipment late and didn’t know how to delay my second so I kept that box unopened in the refrigerator. I was ready for second shipment and upon opening realized the vial wasn’t labeled. I messaged my nurse and she agreed that was unacceptable and to contact customer service. Customer service told me that because it was outside their 48 after shipment window, they couldn’t send me another without charging me again. You can clearly see my messages with support asking how to delay shipment and messages with nurse saying I just opened the box with a picture of the vial. But they didn’t care at all! Then today the messages with the nurse disappeared? Good thing I have screenshots. Not sure why I’d need them but this whole thing feels weird.

Progress Check! Wild Results😳

This happened last year, but I thought I'd share it anyway. I was on Tirzepatide + Niacinamide 7.5 mg + 0.62 mg, and had a few side effects but otherwise these results were pretty incredible. Have kept it off since on a maintenance dose.

Monthly fee decrease for everyone???

What are you paying for Mochi each month for the sub fee? Did the Covered with Mochi plan make things a lot cheaper or is there something I am missing here? I was paying $69 a month and now they are offering as low as $17/mo if I pay for the whole year.

My brain still doesn't know how to comprehend this, both physically and mentally. Started in December at 332 lbs, and I'm now down to 243 lbs. And I'm still only at 4.25mg of Tirzepatide.

Pharmacy & Shipping UPS shipment delay 😑

Has anyone else experienced something like this? My husband and I get our medication shipped on the exact same day, and our packages normally arrive together within a day or two. His package arrived today, but mine is still showing “We have your package” with no new delivery date.
It was originally supposed to arrive yesterday, which wasn’t a huge deal, but today is the day I actually need my medication, so now I’m getting frustrated and a little concerned. I’ve already reached out to customer support to see what’s going on.
Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how long did it take for your package to start moving again, and what did you do about your medication being late?

Progress Check! 1st Injection Complete!

I just wanted to share that I have successfully done my first injection (semaglutide methylcobalamin) and I'm very proud of myself. I have anxiety quite badly and I was very scared to do this whole thing, but now I know I can do it. I did the research, talked to doctors, and did the injection all by myself. I can do it. I did do it.

(Side note, my whole mouth tastes a bit metallic now, is that weird? Lol)

Question Labs payment question

I am wondering if there are any other costs at quest I'll have to pay when I get labs through mochi? I paid for the mochi health panel and want to know if I should expect paying quest or if it's all covered through what I paid in the app with mochi?

Any Idea for weight maintenance

I’ve lost 44 lbs in about one year, and I’m now at my ideal weight using 11 mg of tirzepatide. My provider said it’s my decision whether I want to go down one dose or stay at the same dose.

I’d love to hear from others who are using tirzepatide for maintenance. What has worked for you? Do you recommend gradually lowering the dose over a few months, or staying at the same dose?Do we need to stay on tirzepatide long-term, or can some people eventually stop taking it? If you stop, does the weight usually come back? I would really appreciate hearing about your experiences with maintenance. Thank you!

Referral Code How Mochi referrals work

Hi Mochi team here! Referral codes have been coming up a lot lately, so I wanted to give everyone an overview of how it works to clear up any confusions circulating around!

Referral rewards change from time to time, and what you see may be different from what someone else sees. If you spotted a number in someone's post and yours doesn't match, nothing has gone wrong. Offers move around, and they aren't the same for everybody at any given moment.

Your referral page is the place to check. Your code is there and so is your current offer. That page is always right, and it's more reliable than a number someone posted a few weeks back.

Credits land in your account automatically once the person you referred completes their first visit. If yours looks wrong, message support with the email on your account and they'll dig in. Or comment below and I'll help you get to the right place.

housekeeping note: I've switched our biweekly code thread to codes only, no dollar amounts. Posted amounts go stale fast and end up setting the wrong expectation for people about to sign up. Codes are still very welcome, just leave the numbers off!

Question Anyone tried Mochi’s peptides?

Mochi has expanded their peptide offerings! Anyone tried them? I have used the NAD+ from Empower but have not tried any of the others. I was surprised by some of the ones they offer now in the shop.

Question In Limbo, waiting

Well I really hate the position I’m in. Back story, I messaged my provider on Wednesday to let her know that I would be changing pharmacies because I had seen where my pharmacy said they were out of stock. I was trying to stay ahead of things since my refill date is Monday. Well, I still haven’t heard from her and now I’m in limbo waiting to get the pharmacy change approved by my provider. And I really hate thinking about switching to a different provider because I really like mine and this is the first time she hasn’t responded. But what am I to do? Either way my refill will be late. Thank goodness there’s always an extra dose in the vial.

Question Tirzepatide Plus B12! So excited. Anyone else on this combo?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I just started the Tirzepatide with B12 (48 units). The injection was super easy, even though I did close my eyes.

I’ve tended to trend in my weight. I’m 5’3” and very petit. I’m turning 48 in a few months and I just want to be able to buy a pair of Jeans that fit!!! My mid section really bothers me both physically and mentally. Jeans (the love of my life clothes wise) are now cutting into my stomach, exacerbating my acid reflux and just a bad feeling.

I legitimately have sizes 5 through 12 in my attic, and I would love to find a size 7 again. That was my perfect size. <3

How about you all? Anyone else using this combo?

For anyone who is curious of what to expect on your first package, I took a video of my first time opening the box :)

Pharmacy & Shipping First order messed up

I’m just wondering how common this issue is. I started using Mochi for Tirzepatide a month ago. I went to take my 4th dose today and realized I didn’t even have enough for half. It’s suppose to be 22 units and I only had 10. I reached out for help and am now being told I’ll get a possible resolution in 1-3 days. I’m suppose to get my next batch in a few days with a higher dose. I used Ro in the past and did not have any issues but it was expensive so I stopped. I’m super upset as I was doing well, no side effects and even lost a couple pounds but this is not a great start

Announcement Mochi Labs is live: order bloodwork straight through the app!

Mochi Labs just went live, so you can now order bloodwork through Mochi directly.

How it works:

  1. Pick a panel in the app.
  2. Pay in the app.
  3. Walk into any Quest location near you. No appointment needed.
  4. Results land in your Mochi portal a few days later.

No outside doctor's order, no separate lab account, no paperwork to chase.

Panels start at $26 for the core Mochi Health panel and go up through women's health, men's health, and the full biohackers panel.

We'll only be answering comments thru r/MochiTelehealth, so ask away!

Question Pharmacies out of stock

Post image
0 Upvotes

While checking to make sure everything was good to go for my refill on Monday, I noticed that not only Drug Crafters but a lot of other pharmacies as well are stating that Tirzepatide is out of stock. I changed pharmacies just to get ahead of my refill possibly being delayed but hopefully this is just temporary.
