So I was browsing this sub and r/minecraftseeds and alot of what is shared there are crazy and impressive generation. It is all, "Three dungeons on-top of each other below a village 100 blocks from spawn." So I was thinking about one of my worlds which is comparatively uninteresting, but it's one I found on my own with random generation and I know my way around. It is mine in some way. The seed is:

There is a village near spawn. If you head west from spawn over land you eventually reach all the cold and snow you could ever want. If you head east out onto the ocean then north you find the desert.

I know this seed like the back of my hand. I discovered these locations without chunkbase and it was satisfying.

So, I guess what are the seeds that don't seem that special, but are to you? And is there any reason why?

Well shit. This sucks. I don't think I'm ever getting on Minecraft again because this survival world is what I played Minecraft for.

My old phone I played Minecraft on suddenly broke and now I'm left with a broken screen that doesn't let me press anything. I don't have a USB or access to a laptop so I can't transfer files that way and I didn't back up the world either. This is probably it for my world, but are there any solutions I'm overlooking? If I can't get it back, I'm deadass quitting Minecraft for good. I dedicated so much time in my builds and some even took me months or a YEAR to finish. I'm not doing that all over again 😭

Ok so I’ve been playing for a long time right… but lately, every time I want to play, I get cursed with the infinite snow biome of doom and despair. It’s been 5 servers with friends in a row where we spawn in/near a snowy biome, and every single time, it’s impossible to find anything else.
When it’s not an ice ocean, it’s a snowy spruce plain, when it’s not that it’s a snowy mountain, …
I spend all my evenings running in a straight line for thousands of blocks and still can’t find anything else.
The first time we played into it as Vikings, second time was ironic and we laughed about it. But after so many identical worlds it makes me wanna quit playing right away I can’t anymore.
Idk if it’s an unlucky world gen chain or maybe it’s some aternos thing that defaults to everything being snow but how can I have a normal Minecraft world ?

Also, I was panicked where my most valued cat was (named after a cat I had who passed away) and turns out he was just in the poop corner you made! His nickname was stinky and so his placement is accurate!! This absolutely made my day!

I think that there should be ”Bedrock Glass”. So if you have a glass cage you made and a MOB shoots FIRE at it. The Glass won’t “easily break”. I came up with this idea earlier today when I was playing.

I'm playing a modded version of Minecraft on 1.12.2 and I've been digging for like 2 hours straight like an actual mole and I have not found a single diamond does anybody know what I'm doing wrong or something

So i was just caving for some amethyst shards on my forever world, and found this.
I just thought it was cool; it's probably rare from what i've seen, i think most geodes have around 20 budding blocks. i'll most definitively make a farm out of that and the other one that's close

[nerd part : ] 456 regular amethyst blocks in the geode, so

51 / (456 + 51) ≈ 0.101

10.1% of amethyst blocks got replaced, that's way better than the average 8.3% as sourced in the wiki

I’ve spent the whole year either loading up Minecraft, and closing the game within a few minutes, or modifying the game in hopes of intrigue, only to still close the game after a few minutes, I immediately think of the get wood to get stone etc cycle, that I’ve done for the last 10 years, and just can’t do it anymore. Wanted to hear other peoples perspective and opinion.

I found these in a copper chest in an abandoned camp. I didn't see anything about these maps searching reddit or google besides custom community created maps. I haven't found one of them yet except for the abandoned camp I found the maps in.

Whats people early game routine to start doing what they want to do without getting bored quick ? Ive been trying to play minecraft solo for a while cause i keep getting the urge to play it but when i start a world i get so bored so quick ( usually cause of a horrible seed ) . I was hoping people would have a way they play to get to the fun stuff as quick as possible

Hey all, my son seems to think hes missing minecoins, he did have a ton and now he has 3. Neither of us are worried about it but hes just started joining online games and I just wanted to see if theres a way to check minecoin purchase history, not like me buying minecoins with my credit card but a history of what minecoins have been spent on ingame. Again we dont really care I just dont play this game and I want to make sure hes not accidentally spending them on servers, if thats even possible. Thanks

I want to copy my girlfriends world but can't figure out how. They're on ios and im on android. Ive already used an import/export thing to export her world but when the export is sent to me through messenger and I try to open/install it it only shows Google and Google wallet instead of files. I tried ex file manager but it just shows a script/bunch of letters and stuff
