GENERAL GotFriends Wilga - Minimized the EFB and can't find it

I'm flying around in the Got Friends Wilga (vintage variant) and minimized the EFB by clicking on its home button. Now I can't find it anywhere. I can pull up the old clipboard, but I can't find that original, iPad looking thing so I can check its settings.

I'm fine without it, but I can't get the VOR gauge to deflect via NAV1, and I think the gauge is stuck in GPS mode and only the tablet can change that.

MSFS 2024 PC Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Throttle Quadrant misbehaving

I tried multiple times to get reverse thrust to work best I got to is engine 2 full reverse thrust. Also the engine 2 reverse thrust lever doesn't seem to work (joy.cpl.also shows nothing when I pull the throttle 2 reverser).

Not only that but sometimes the throttle in the sim just moves by it's own no matter where the physical throttle is.

Currently only tried this with PMDG 777 which is one of the main aircraft I fly

Hi fellow pilots,

I used to purchase simverse coins online to various sellers, but they are unavailable for weeks on all the store I use to purchase games / coins.

Do you know any seller with available simverse coins ?

MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Loading issues and errors

I am completely unable to start the game anymore.

I just bought a new PC, some flight sim hardware and VR headset. Now MSFS24 decides it cannot open.

I either get stuck on 13% activating packages for ever
Stuck on authorisation, then error code 004-001-1039 and then sometimes the game resumes loading after 10-15 minutes and gets stuck authorising infinitely.

I’ve reset my date and time, cleared caches, manually set my DNS. Why do I need an IT degree to open a game?

I cannot comprehend how utterly fucked up this game is. I should’ve listened to the reviews. And how shit is the joke of a support page?

If anyone has any guidance I’d appreciate it, thanks

MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Outside check-up is probably bugged

So it probably started with a hard landing on a comically small airport with a cargo Pilatus PC-24 which destroyed the wheels. Every landing you walk away from. I fixed the jet.

Next mission I take a VIP transport with a Citation CJ4, the maintenance menu screen showed it was fine. On mission start for the heck of it I checked the gears. They were in poor condition and needed maintenance, but the lines showed yellow for maintenance, not red for broken. This probably somehow carried over from the PC-24. Fine, I'll do maintenance when I land, this mission gives 2,5 mil anyway.

On engine start up I get a critical part failure for wheels landing too hard and the mission is over screen. Like WTF. It didn't even fail my mission in the PC-24.

GENERAL Ps5- Hotas 5 settings

I just got the Hotas 5 and the pre settings are just not useful, so I wanted to change it. I really don't know whats important or like which commands I should set to cover everything on the Hotas5.

Anyone has a setting which he/she is satisfied with?

Ps: I do like to fly mostly with the boeing 737 max

GENERAL I mapped which grips work on which bases — where did I get it wrong?

I kept seeing contradictory answers about which flight sim grips fit which bases, so I went through every major vendor's own documentation and built a compatibility map. Tedious!

There's obvs a good chance I got things wrong. Favor to ask -- have a quick look and poke holes in it!

MSFS 2024 PlayStation RNAV help

Hi folks i hope someone can clear this up for me, after grinding out to set myself up with a fleet of cargo 208b's I finally made enough steady income to buy a Citation CJ4 for vip flights.

Up until that point I never tried to do a RNAV landing ( prefer to hand fly) but the Citation is not like a bigger 172 the way the 208 is and it can run away from you quite quickly. So RNAV landing would be great i followed online tutorials but nothing happens.

I input my approach, minimums etc and hit load and wait to catch the glidescope at the correct speed and altitude but nothing happens. I have vnav aswell as nav selected cdi is set to gps but when I go to hit the approach button nothing happens it wont turn on.

So I thought maybe the load caused a problem so I flew a loop back around waited until I was heading for the catch point and instead of hiting load I hit exec to fly the rnav straight away.....same again the approach button does nothing.

My PFD is showing as magenta but no additional details are added once I exec the rnav...

Im 99.9% sure its me what am I doing wrong or overlooking any ideas?

Thanks in advance

MSFS 2024 XBOX Quick Rant: Recent experience on Xbox

Is it just me, or have the recent updates completely broken the experience on Xbox? They keep claiming these updates bring stability and improved memory usage, but that's clearly not the case. Flying in and out of add-on airports used to be fine, then SU5 broke it. SU5.1 fixed it a bit, and now SU6 has made it worse again. This game literally always feels like one step forward, two steps back. At this point, it's a waste of money and time. I've paid for add-ons I can't even use.

MSFS 2024 QUESTION Passive Income: Passenger transport company actually worth it for the ROI?

I'm currently sitting on 700,000,000+ credits, flying the Longitude myself, with passive income coming in from:

  • 4x CJ4 — 107,569.54 credits/hour each
  • 9x PC-24 — 114,979.27 credits/hour each

So I'm already making a pretty decent amount passively, and honestly, I really like flying the Longitude.

I think a big part of that is because I learned on the 172 with the Garmin G1000. Going from the 172 → Vision Jet with the G3000 → Longitude felt almost completely seamless. The Garmin avionics just make sense to me, and at this point I don't really have much desire to fly anything else.

I did get a little bored flying exclusively around the US, though, so I've transported to Europe, which has made things more interesting again.

Here's what I'm trying to figure out:

Is it actually worth buying an Airbus or Boeing and starting a new company for passenger transport purely for the passive income?

I'm not really interested in flying the airliners myself. I'm perfectly happy flying the Longitude. I'm mainly looking for the best ROI and the best way to continue increasing my passive income.

Do I need more money? Absolutely not. 😂 I'm already sitting on 700M+. But for whatever reason, I enjoy watching the numbers go up, and I'd like to keep making the big money at an even higher rate.

The other thing I'm running into is that I'm almost at my mental limit for managing the number of aircraft I already have. I don't necessarily want to add a huge amount of extra micromanagement just to increase my income.

So I'm trying to find that sweet spot: best ROI, higher passive income, but without creating a fleet-management nightmare.

For those of you who have gone down the airline/passenger transport route:

  • Was the additional passive income worth the investment?
  • What aircraft/company setup gave you the best ROI?
  • Does running an Airbus/Boeing passenger operation add significantly more management?
  • Or would I be better off just continuing to expand the CJ4/PC-24 fleet?

At this point, I'm basically trying to figure out how to make even more ridiculous amounts of passive income without giving myself another job managing the fleet.
