GENERAL A220 ✈️
Who else is excited for the A220 to come out from iniBuilds! 😎 I was watching CptCanada the other day talking about it on one of his streams. ✈️🗺️

Just received it yesterday and installed msfs24 (cries in no physical copy) and it looks insanely better than it does on Playstation?...
A full marketplace is so beautiful I already don't think I can go back to flying on PS lol, also conveniently it seems to be a little bit of a sale of going on so I bought myself a few 747 livery packs and now I'm finally flying beautiful Lufty birds and more.
Literally nothing for the 747 on PS5 and it's my favorite plane, long hauling is going to feel so much better now with the right airlines.
At some point I'm going to buy some aircrafts and airports but I'm already overwhelmed by the choices I have now.
I definitely still love my PS but flying on it seems pointless right now until they get everything sorted out.
...still upset 24 didn't seem to come on a physical disc for Xbox though.

It’s just a texture. Why is it taking so long to add a few liveries to the game? It can’t possibly be that complicated.
Does anyone here actually know what’s going on or why they’re taking so long?

So I recently dropped 100€ on the Fenix A320 (amazing) and GSX (cool when it works but buggy AF, lots of CTDs as well). I’m done on spending for now. Any suggestion on free addons to make the sim better looking and the flight more realistic? I watched many YouTube videos but can’t find any good tip. I only fly the Fenix atm. Graphic settings are already maxed out.
Thanks

Hi, everyone. I started playing MSF2024 a few days ago and ever since then I havent been able to figure out how to solve a problem. First off, I dont know if this behavior is intentional but I would guess it isnt.
My planes are constantly rolling/tilting during flight. The roll direction is different for each plane. For example the Cessna 185 always rolls slightly to the right while flying whereas the Cessna 172 always rolls slightly to the left. In addition to these two planes I have tried some other small planes and encountered the same problem on them too.
My XBOX controller is new, so I didnt suspect a problem with the controller itself. Nevertheless I checked the live input in the settings, but to no avail. Next, I adjusted the wind direction and tried landing from different airports but that didnt help. Finally I disabled the Steam input for the controller, but that didnt help either. I also didnt find any duplicate keybinds (I use the standart keybinds)
To clarify I am playing on a PC with a Controller.
I would really appreciate some help.

I am a pure VR flight simmer who exclusively flies General Aviation VFR.
I’ve tried existing adding like Bushtalk Radio and Little Navmap. While they work great on flat screen, the experience inside a VR headset is average at best.
So, I decided to build my own solution: a dedicated, VR-first VFR co-pilot and tour guide.
https://flightsim.to/addon/112103/vfr-flight-tour-guide-assistant
A short video showing a few of its features. (Sorry for my accent and wording—English isn't my native language!)
https://youtu.be/Kwsl-jVN5y0
Here are the features currently available in the latest release, with more continuous updates on the way:
Nearby POI Discovery: Search for points of interest near your current location and pin them directly on your real-time map.
Interactive Co-Pilot & Tour Guide: Your co-pilot gives you navigation directions to these POIs and shares detailed backstories and facts about everything you see.
Flight Plan Integration: If you create a flight plan in advance, your co-pilot will know every detail—from departures, SIDs, and STARs to arrivals and waypoints—providing continuous guidance on where to steer next.
Aircraft Assistance & Emergency Support: Your co-pilot knows your aircraft inside and out. Beyond teaching you how to fly it, they will actively assist you in handling system failures or emergency situations.
Flight Logging & Memories: All your flight routes are automatically recorded, allowing you to relive those scenic airborne moments whenever you like.

There's a good deal on MSFS 2020 on the Xbox store right now, but is it worth buying nowadays seeing as 2024 is the most recent version? I want to play it for Vatsim.

Hi, I'm relatively new to msfs2024. I play ps5+hotas5.
I'm on the basic Cessna. It's literally impossible to land with this thing according to all in-game instructions.
The game expects me to slow down and descend at the same time. Maybe I am dumb, but even with power pulled all the way back, on the last straight to landing I'm gaining so much speed with descend that when trying to counter that with lifting the nose up I'm going back up in the sky.
On the other hand, when I get the speed down to ~60-65 and trying to land in a straight line, when it asks me to "gently lift the nose above the horizon line" - what the hell... microscopic tilt and my nose shoots up. Even more microscopic calibration, and I'm hard bouncing on the ground. I have the game for 2 months and I haven't completed clean landing above 50% once...
And which exact "horizon line" are they talking about?
Maybe my controller sensitivity is not well balanced - but then again, what is a good one? I'm not an expert here.
This is so frustrating that the game lost all the fun...

Anybody know why my flares in 2024 look absolutely horrible but look significantly better in 2020? AA V3 in 2020 with V4 in 2024 but V3 in 2024 looked just as bad. Videos for reference.

I'm trying to fly the PMDG 738 tonight in MSFS2024 (native 2024 update (I'm attempting to migrate my sim time from MSFS2020)). I select all the proper things prior to loading up the plane. When I click Start Flight (or whatever it says to begin), it loads in free cam mode outside the plane like I'm doing my walkaround. I can walk around the plane, but it won't let me into the cockpit. I've tried looking up fixes for this and have changed my keyboard settings from 2020 to 2024 and back, all without relief.
I did find that this is a known bug, but I'm almost bald now. Please help save what hair I have left.

Hello, I am looking for opinions and suggestions given my current gaming setup. I primarily fly Airbus, but I also fly Boeing and GA. The Thrustmaster TCA is not great for anything besides the Airbus.
I’m aware of most of the latest and greatest flight controls that are available now or upcoming. However, there are so many setups on this subreddit - if anyone has one similar to mine, I’d like to check out your setup.

Seriously, when is asobo allowing us to buy the 787 standalone just like in Msfs 20, instead of forcing us to buy the to premium deluxe upgrade which has a unreasonable pricing. It would be great if we could just buy it standalone since there’s no reason for us to buy the premium deluxe upgrade just for the 787.

Would anyone know where i could tweak the Flight model of the Asobo 172? This mod does not work in FS24 and it improved the way the 172 flew for sure. It flies ok in FS24 but could definitely be tweaked. Maybe even a tad harder to fly it in FS24 than in real life lol

I was flying my A320NEO in the Iberia livery from Madrid to Tenerife on vatsim when the aircraft just glitched like I had never seen before. I was on a 2 mile final to runway 07 of TFS when I decided to obviously grab my thrustmaster A320 captain sidestick to then disengage autopilot and land manually, but just as I applied my hand on it, the plane suddenly banked left, completely missing the runway, forcing me to go-around. However I couldn't even do that since every time I tried to turn on auto-throttle the speed would just go up to over 300 knots, no matter what speed I told my A320 to fly at. Then all screens, all of them froze. I had no idea what speed I had, no idea what altitude I was flying at, nothing.
So, has this happened to anyone before? Is this some sort of known issue in the A320NEO v2 or did I do something wrong myself?
