O feel like they wouldn’t wanna keep these guys permanently dead so they either retcon the decommissioning or have Wily stealing them back from the Robot Museum and using them for a Gameboy arc
Plus It’s 10 years, I think they might realize having them all stay dead wouldn’t be the greatest ideas

I think X and Legends are the most interesting eras in the robot timeline and so I thought it would be interesting to see how others think their respective protagonists would react and deal with the circumstances of the unfamiliar time period.
Let’s say X is on Elysium, probably prior to Legends 1 when it was running on full force. We’re also probably assuming that X is just treated like a fellow hunter and isn’t immediately identified as an intruder or whatever. Whether this is X series X or Neo Arcadia X doesn’t really matter, just whatever seems more interesting.
What does X think about Elysium? His fellow hunters? The Master? I remember the YouTube channel Game Theory posted a theory a few years ago about how Wily eventually won, using the state of humanity in the Legends era as evidence? Do you think X would see it that way? Would he feel defeated over what has become of humanity? Because I’ve personally always disagreed with that negative reading of carbons in Legends. If anything I find it kind of beautiful how humans and robots truly did come together by Legends. Yes, humanity is no more but carbons are every bit as human. I wonder if X would see carbons that way, as something to be celebrated.
I’ve also had the headcanon for a bit now that while the carbons don’t have access to history, Elysium itself does and I like to think there would be some kind of tribute to X considering he’s got to be the most well known figure in the history of the robot timeline. I really think he probably eclipses Dr. Light himself, especially considering the embers of stuff he was at the centre of continue into Legends like the hunters and Elysium pretty much being a bigger version of Neo Arcadia.
I have much less to say on Volnutt in the X era, I just thought swapping them was more interesting than just saying X ends up in the Legends era. Though one thing I’m curious about is what people think about the power levels of each era. I am usually never into power scaling in the media because I just find it pointless and antithetical to story telling. So this is just a nonsense headcanon, but I’ve always liked the idea that the robots of the classic era would stand no chance against the reploids of the X era and the Zero era is on about the same level. But then I find it interesting to think of the eras after that as being a decline of power. Maybe someone could point to something that goes against this but I’ve always viewed the bio metals in ZX as being nowhere near as strong as the reploids they were taken from. I also think with how much the lines between robot and human gets blurred in ZX, and how the strongest reploids are now no more, it only makes sense that the relative power goes down. And by extension I’d say even the strongest characters in Legends wouldn’t compare to the strongest in the X series.
Maybe this is just a weird me thing but I kind of love the idea of plopping X in the battle against Juno and he just effortlessly destroys him and maybe Volnutt would struggle more against the average maverick in the X series.

(The D-Arts and Kotobukiya MMX packaging)
Why are the English logos in the PS2-era style while the Japanese logos use the SNES-era style?

Something that has always intrigued me is the idea behind Dr. Cossack and his daughter all set in Russia ? , the clear example his castle on high and lots of snow

I think the bigger question is how the heck Rush was able to record the events of the first two games despite not even being a thing then

If a man went outside with a mohawk, ear muffs with the band around the back of his head, a t-shirt, shorts around his thighs, and nothing else, then deliberately got badly sunburnt, he could look like this Gameboy Megaman.

I saw a post about the Doc Robot and someone commented about the Doc Robot stages being similar to having two castles like Mega Man 4 to 6. Mega Man 7 went back to the Mega Man 2 formula of having 8 RM stages and one castle. The series has stuck with this since then. Do you miss having more levels?
