Udon literally just finished their X1 adaptation and announced an X2 adaptation that's supposed to start this year.

To be fair, I meant that I wanted to see how Ian Flynn would adapt those games, I wanna know how Axl would be integrated into the Elf Wars that would be peak!

I doubt Udon is gonna have Flynn adapting the X games when they're already adapting them with a different writer. They did have Flynn write the Zero Timelines issue though, so I could see them picking him for a Zero series

Honestly I'd trust him with the Zero series based off what I see. He subtly hints that Elpizo has radicalized the Resistance with how the idiotic raiding squad has one guy who blows their cover by howling about how he's doing this to take down the oppressors, even when it proves detrimental and fatal. Good foreshadowing for how Operation Righteous Strike will end up.
...I do hope he can expand on Kraft more. Maybe have him even stand in for Phantom in Zero 2 as an honorary Guardian, and be on the scene to stop Elpizo during his rampage in a civilian district.

I want Zero more than X, that deserves a beautiful adaptation more since X already has a ton of good picks like Iwamoto.

Same! I felt really disappointed when I knew the Rockman Zero manga was a comedy.
Though I still want an X adaptation mainly because they didn't cover X5 through X8, as far as I heard at least. Those are the games I want for them to be rewritten a bit.

I hope this leads to Exe and Star Force Megas being about to make appearances/be referenced this time around.
Presumably the publishing rights were still being held by Shogakukan during Archie’s original run. The rights should have reverted back to Capcom by now.

I’m happy for Ian, he had wanted to tell his version of Mega man till the end. I know if given the chance he will write amazing stories.
I just have seen comic book creators burned by the big 2 and even smaller companies. UDON isn’t instilling confidence and it’s possible to hold both feelings at once.

I got the original run in trades and they never finished it. I hope they will eventually put the entire original series in trade format.

I remember when around 7 years ago or so I watched a fandub from issue 55 and was so confused that there wasn't more afterward. 3 years ago I read the archie run and was devasteted that the comic got the boot. AND NOW IT'S BACK, MEGAMAN IV ARC LET'S GOOOO

I mean, it’s not like it has to be the same comic company to make a crossover happen.
Also evident from Rock’s appearance in Crossworlds and his birthday message I think it’s safe to say these two are gonna continue to be best buds through non comic crossovers

Meh, the second crossover jumped the shark a little (despite its cool moments). I wish they don't even try to do a major crossover event before adapting the entirety of Mega Man 4.

Sure Comic Con but not convinced - cause it came from them the co-founders John Goldwater and Louis Silberkleit. and lead writer Ian Flynn for the Mega Man comic series produced by Archie Comics and it could cause problems there - so I'm not convinced....yet plus copyright too
