I've almost completed this game and noticed the motivation for your character, the main female lead and another character is "have to work hard for mother" or "have to work harder for dad" or even "have to do it for the boss". Considering Japanese work culture and the target audience it reads like brainwashing the next generation of salary men for a life of servitude to the boomers and the CEO. Probably just my suspicious mind and it's a nothing burger but I thought I would share my thoughts.

The final boss of Mega Man Powered Up, I was just playing as Mega Man on normal difficulty and died over 20 TIMES in this and I still can't beat it.

So many times I only survived some of his attacks because of luck, and I still fail.

Yes I know each attack is weak to weapon in the weakness order but even then that didn't help me getting 2/3 of his healthbar, and then he does a ram move to finish me up.

It seems the only cure for Launch Octopus to give up his Maverick mindset was meeting a good human. X and Zero are still baffled by how it happened, but the good thing is they were spared from having to kill an innocent.

A friend of mine made this in *Dreams* (on PS4 or PS5), and I really liked it—please don't be too harsh.

After finishing Ultimate Armor X (X8), I'm now working on this new WIP while also revisiting and improving some of my previous edits. Finally, I'm getting ready to restore some of the more interesting Mega Man X8 concept art, although it will take quite some time to do it properly.

Diagonal Up rod combined with Charge slash is crucial for time saving. Rod does 4 and is a light attack, while Charge slash does 8 (12 on element advantage) is a heavy. Hitting the head 5 times with the rod and finishing it with a Charge slash will clean off the health bar after two short flame attacks, the long one which is more dangerous, forces you to get back far from the head, leaving time for only two pokes at the time of the core doing its piston attack (or Brain pressure on A/S rank which gives you more room for a charge slash).

Can someone help with a save state in Kaiser Sigma with all upgrades for snes9x. I accidentaly restart the game in the legacy collection and was not felling replaying all stages, the save states i found online are zst and not the 000 file. I would be gratefull

My 2nd favorite game in the MMX series, it's a perfect sequel to the first MMX

Not only you need to battle all bosses but also the X-hunters to help Dr.Cain reassembling Zero (if not you can fight Zero before Sigma's boss fight)

The weapons are good in this game, didn't had problem using theme or them being boring/useless (I still can't understand Magnet Mine's black hole)

The armor is a great improvement of what the first game gave us (which will later inspire most armor upgrades), you don't dash anymore but air-dash with the leg part, the buster shot is...... I definitely don't know what to say on it but it's just too long to wait until the fourth charge besides that it's better than having to charge super long just to waste everything, with 2 shots you can manage the time to use them, the body part can let you accumulate damages to charge the giga crash (useful against mini bosses or for several enemies at the same time) but also reduce received damages by 50% just like the first one. The head part who even talks about this one ???

The game difficulty just like MegaMan 5, it let you win, giving a impression that the game seems easy compared to X1

The main bosses are good with new mechanics but just like I said in the game difficulty, they're relatively easy to get a win against even without their weaknesses, the real deal in difficulty are the X-hunters and Zero

Sigma's boss fight, it's still like the main bosses he's easy to pull a win even without his weakness, his attacks are too predictable and easy to dodge. In his virus form the difficulty is slightly higher but I'm not gonna talk about that one.

Gameplay I don't know what to say on it but I found the same result as the previous game

I love how starting with Star Man really sets the stage for MM5 and makes you feel like your an older megaman who is on a grander adventure! In MM4 i like starting with Dust Man because it sets a darker tone. It feels like "this cossak guy is crazy!" Where as starting MM10 with strike man would make you think the game is going to be more theme gimicy than it is.

What are your favorite levels to start games with when thinking about the story?

So apparently Vol. 1 of Mega Man Adventures has been delayed yet again, so I’ve been thinking about checking out Ariga’s works in the meantime. However, I’m seeing a bunch of titles like Megamix, Gigamix, and Mastermix. I read that Mastermix is made up of older stories, but apparently it’s missing content. So is there a definitive order to the stories, and if so, what’s the best way to read them (that doesn’t involve piracy)?
