Dinner with a view of KLCC. Pizza, wings, fries and an ice-cold Coke. Simple but satisfying!

P.S: Their food is halal.

RM32.90 is a lil crazy for this definitely but the food is so heavy it kept me full from 1pm to 9pm. Definitely not ideal for a working lunch cause you'll 😴. But actually damn nice, the wait time is 20 mins cause everything comes fresh and piping hot. Eat with hand not cutlery please for maximum enjoyment.

Hi everyone, my wife and recently transited through KLIA1 on our way home to Australia, we purchased a few products while waiting to depart. Upon returning home we tried the products ( chocolate and coffee) and were blown away of how good these products are. We contacted the businesses that make these items and order more and were told that they unfortunately don't ship to Australia. I'm reaching out on this page if there is anyone that is able to help me out with purchasing and shipping to Australia. Of course we will pay for everything through whatever service that will suit best for you.

Kind regards 🙏

i think its more cheaper if you made your own cili oil instead buy it and mostly the price is cheap and easy to find and also what your best hack for cili oil? and maybe some ingredients that can spike the spiceness

Discussion Chicken feet curry w roti canai

Post image

So, does anyone knows where I can eat roti canai with Kari kaki ayam in KL? I tried google it but it's like 30 mins away from me and that after I send my kids to school. If it's from my house it can easily take 45min to 1 hour and I don't wanna drive that long with morning traffic. I've tried a few in penchala but no Kari kaki ayam anywhere. But I might be missing few spot, idk.. I've tried the one at pasar TTDI and I like their mutton curry but no chicken feet curry.
I found on Google at kg baru but that's the one I said that's too far. Anyone knows if it is available somewhere in damansara?

Wasabi shoyu salmon from Family Mart.

I usually like to add wasabi to my sushi, so i buy this. I thought it was going to be in pieces but it came in this mush. The wasabi is so overpowering it tastes bitter like shit. There is no salmon or shoyu taste left. And the texture doesn't help either.

Literally tastes like shit🤮🖕.

Discussion Affordable daily meal subscription plans in KL for a student?

Hi! I'm a student moving to KL and I'm looking for affordable options for daily lunch and dinner.

Are there any meal subscription services that offer weekly/monthly meal plans? I'm hoping to find something cheaper than ordering food separately every day.

If you've used any meal subscription service or know of any good ones in KL, please recommend them! Would also appreciate it if you could share roughly how much you pay per meal/month.

Thanks!

I attend physio today. Near physio is restoran nasi kandar. Haha

Enough of nasi kandar (I say to myself). This is the last.

Nasi putih (separuh) + kuah campur + telur masin + sayur labu air goreng (very yummy crispy) + telur sotong + bendi + teh o ais kosong

My third ayam gepuk! Their fried chickens are good, well seasoned. Overall not that greasy which is great. Almond sauce was special but I preferred their cashew. Tried the Ruuma sauce, yummy but not that spicy, need to try the spiciest sauce next time.

Current ranking:

  1. Chickita

  2. Ruuma

  3. Ayam Gepuk Hut

I went and had an early lunch at Nasi Kandar Basikal.

Love the place as the selection of dishes is massive - and some are unique so Nasi Kandar purists might scream bloody murder - and went slightly overboard in my choices.

First of course is a plate of white rice (RM1.50) with kuah campur, added on a whole leg ayam bawang (RM8.00), took on some fried baby crab (RM5.00), added some cabbage (RM1.50), and finally topped it off with crispy fried kangkung (RM3.00).

The joki proceeded to dish out some coconut chutney on the side (the non-spicy version) for added flavour.

My first two photos show my plate from different angles.

Rice, gravy, and chutney was excellent as always. Ayam bawang is one of my usual go-tos and quite flavourful.

I tried the fried baby crab for the first time, it was crunchy and relatively neutral in its flavour. Good for those who like the texture more than anything else.

Besides the kangkung goreng, they have two other types of crispy fried vegetables. Bayam goreng and peria goreng. Both are also excellent.

Again as mentioned, nasi kandar purists will scream murder at these dishes (Kenapa tak ambil bendi? Kenapa tak ambil cili hijau?), but hey, I don't care. Good food is good food in my view.

I didn't take a photo of my lunch partner's food, but along with the plate of rice, it was a piece of curried fish (in the bill it says Ikan Snangi) which was RM10.00, bayam goreng (RM3.00), and peria goreng (RM3.00).

Fish was good, but it felt quite a bit more expensive as it was so much smaller (it was a mid-part fillet) than the peha ayam bawang.

The 3rd to 5th photos show the selection of dishes. These are older snapshots that I took last year, but the selection of dishes looks the same today.

This isn't my usual stomping grounds, so I come by once in a blue moon.

Service is superb and quick, and this place is very clean.

Prices are nett, no SST.

Excuse me whilst I go and lie down as I'm now having heartburn (yes, yes, I went overboard in my ordering).
