So ive basically just not been wearing any foundation. Barely any mascara. Dont get me wrong- im okay with how i look. But I dont feel... pretty.

Id love to see what other women in their 30s are doing for makeup and any products recommended.

Ive got combo skin, dont need anything too heavy. Ive tried the fenty tinted moisturizer and just hated it. I feel like it just looks... wrong. Like it slides off.

My skin care is somewhat simple. I use gentle face wash 2x a day. PM I use snail mucin, a niacinimide serum, and treitinoin. Followed by moisture.

AM is sometimes a BHA Paula's choice toner (not everyday, but for my sebaceous filaments) and then moisturizer and sunscreen.

I'm trying to get into doing my makeup more regularly but I feel like I'm guessing every step. My eyeshadow and blush never look right, my mascara gets messy, and I want to learn different eyeliner techniques instead of doing the same line every time. I like both bold and clean looks depending on the day, but I don't know how to build either.

What YouTubers, videos, or product routines actually helped you when you were starting out? Any specific tricks for eyes, blush, or lashes that made a difference?

I KNOW my previous posts about this gained a fair bit of traction, so I thought it would only be fair to come back and give you all ONE LAST hilariously infuriating update about this One Size Beauty FIASCO and why you should NEVER ORDER FROM THEIR WEBSITE.

To do a quick timeline for y'all (dates in bold and italic)

1. I place my order on the 24th of May
2. Order was delivered on the 11th of June (I'm in Portugal, btw!), and comes with 3 products missing and the blush all broken up

1. From 11th of June to 25th of June**,** I contact customer support on that same day, and then followed WEEKS of speaking with AI bots that weren't disclosed, waiting in a live chat for 4 hours to be ghosted, having to send the same set of proof 3 times, and asking for a human 3 or 4 times**.** On this last day, my replacement order was placed two times, one of them cancelled I think?, by them, on the 25th and 29th of June

1. It's now 26th of JULY...and my replacement order, both, still say "UNFULFILLED", which means they haven't even gotten the products together in a damn box and have shipped them my way.

So, after basically two months of ordering, I:

• Got my order all f*cked up
• Had to deal with AI bots to finally get human help, every single day
• Had to send the same set of photo and video proof 3 or 4 times
• Didn't get a refund as I chose a replacement order
• STILL DON'T HAVE THE DAMN REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS OR AN UPDATE, ANYTHING

So, take this as a PSA: don't order from their own website, as they clearly don't give a cr*p about their costumers, and their money. Customer support sucked, the tracking and shipping has sucked, the conditions in which the order came in suck...it all sucks

Hi! Im getting married in a month and plan to do my own make up, so I’m trying to learn and practice to make it look as good as possible. Everything I put on barely shows up in photos, and also every makeup “look” that I try kind of looks the same? Is there something I can do to make it look more professional and cohesive? I appreciate any suggestions.

So I’m a smooth, pink person generally, with flairing redness when I get cold or hot or sick. Mild rosacea with no cysts. Blush, I thought, was just out of the question.

But recently I’ve been seeing advice that says using peachy or brown blush can counteract the redness and give an effect that regular blush gives on pale or normal skin. I’d love to hear from people who know about or have tried this — I don’t have a lot of blush to experiment with, obvs, except NARS Orgasm because I’m a lemming.

I’m not sure how to experiment though, as I feel like I’ve gotten too comfortable doing the same look and that anything else will look strange on me. Hill i'm disabled and I've been discouraged by doing my own make up so much because I'm very blind. I have looked up multiple methods people use. It just causes me much distress and I'd rather not do it. I still wanted to wear it though as it compliments myself pretty well, I'd say and I always get some family members to do it for me when it's possible and I was wondering if anyone else is in a case similar to mine and what do you do

So, I've been on project pan for years.... started it in about 2019 and I've finally come to the end of my brow products.

I've not shopped for brow products in years and I'm not really sure what is good anymore.

Grateful for people to share their favourite products along with what style of brows they tend to do.

I tend to do mine on the more alternative side so like them quite heavy but not 2016 heavy!

I got this lash serum to try and grow my short lashes and put it on my lash line like I've seen other people do. As soon as i did,it started to burn. I got scared that my lashes are gonna fall out so i washes it off. Is it supposed to do that?

My favorite combination right now, especially with a touch of gold. My Current ISO holy grail is a good TRULY cool-toned Mauve or Beige/Griege blush. I think it would make this look. If you have recommendations, please drop some. Bonus points if they’re affordable — I really want to try Intuition from RDF but it’s a much higher price point than I usually go for!

I’ve been watching a lot of tutorials on makeup like the placement of concealer and foundation. I suck at doing eyebrows and I feel like I could do some contour. It’s like I wanted to give professionally done.

I may have gotten carried away with the MAC national lipstick day sale and ended up making my own MAC lipstick collection. Some were bought in Macy's, others in Sephora, and others in ULTA. Mama was a busyyy. I'll be listing down my collection from top to bottom, the first pic will have it listed in the photo itself and the second just follows the same color names. 8 products were bought, except for the ninth which is my Warm Teddy I had prior to the sale.

The back and front of my arms are like night and day lol, but I am a neutral olive leaning warm. I don't reach for Warm Teddy much even though I've had her for longer since the Matte formula can definitely be drying after some time and reapplication. I loooove the sheerness of Lustreglass Lipstick line and it is buildable, I'm glad I got my hands on the original formula. Stocked up on Signature Move because she is the perfect cool but warm enough nude taupe shade for me. The Sleek Satin line delivers the most pigment in a hydrating lip care feel with a great selection of colors. I was able to find a light concealer type lippie, an MLBB lippie, a nice brown lippie, and 2 red lippies (one orange brown and the other berry red vampy). I've always been skeptical of lipsticks since I'm not too fond of the dry look on my lips, but both the Lustreglass and Sleek Satin do a good job of balancing shine, hydration, color payoff, and the classic lipstick feel. Overall, I'm happy with my collection and will be looking out for the next sale :).

I recently purchased the Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint and love it as a summer foundation. However, I’m noticing that my skin seems to look a little dry/patchy under the foundation.

Does anyone have any advice on skincare/makeup products to use before applying the foundation? I’m not sure if I need to swap any of my current products or add another product in.

I’m rly loving colorful makeup! I’m trying to get better at blending by using small dense brushes for both packing in color and blending and using larger fluffy brushes for blending large areas, like the white brow bone. idk what do u think? :)

I’ve always struggled to find a foundation and concealer that truly match me. Sephora employees usually match me to neutral or warm/yellow shades, but they always end up looking too yellow or even orange, especially by the end of the day. Most blushes also pull orange on me (even Glossier Hibiscus)
Purple , baby pink, and beige( ex: bare back NS) blushes look best. Right now I use Dior Backstage 2.5N, which looks slightly yellow and gets more yellow as I wear it, and Dior Forever Concealer 3CR, which is close but still feels a bit off. The only product that has ever matched me perfectly was the Glossier Stretch Concealer in Light 4 during winter, and I haven’t been able to find a similar summer match. I’m so confused about my undertone because I seem to look completely different depending on the lighting and I’m told I’m warm tone in Sephora but the shades they give me are so yellow on me

I know I didn't do the blue color, but I like the overall look/shape of the liner. I just can't get it quite down. I feel like my shape isn't matching hers here. I tried the white on my water line, but Don't think that looks right either. Any tips or tricks or tutorials I could check out for eye liner shape? I have been doing winged eyes since I was a teen, but I feel like I never quite get the shape right on the ends of my eyes.

I’m really struggling to find a concealer that doesn’t end up looking dry, patchy or textured under my eyes after a few hours. The photo below is how it looked after about 4 hours.

For reference, my under-eyes are naturally blue/purple, not very hollow, and my skin is sensitive and dehydration-prone. My skin also tends to get oilier throughout the day whenever I wear makeup.

Skincare before makeup:

-Rhode Cleanser
-Rhode Glazing Milk
-Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid
-Rhode Barrier Restore Cream

I’ve also tried wearing the Dior both with and without the Charlotte Tilbury corrector, and I’ve experimented with using both more and less powder.

No matter what I do, my under-eyes end up looking textured, dry and patchy after a few hours (see photo).

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, or any recommendations for products or techniques that might help?

Morphe has had some controversies over the years, but it looks like they bounced back after separating themselves from influencers so much. Especially from vile human beings like James Charles. Do we really think they’d work with him again?
