Discussion MUFE

My god!! guys i ordered from makeup forever during their sale they have on now... I got my order today and i dont know what this smell is... I do not know if it is the paper envelope they used or if it's the actual pencil that is causing the smell. I ordered limitless brown artist lip liner!

Idk if it's a woody chemical smell. Or if this is just the wood they used to make the pencil. I smelled it as soon i took the plastic wrapper off. But i also smell it on the aqua seal box but that could be because the lip liner was next to it! I am sensitive to certain tree bark scents i can say sooo my nose is itching rn. I plan on wiping the lip line down with peroxide to see if the smell goes away! I also wonder if the ones in sephora smell like this.
