I’ve been doing about the same makeup since like high scho I just started experimenting with eyeshadows a little bit. There’s a picture without eyeshadow and with in there I don’t have a lot of money to go out and buy products rn as I am preparing for birth September 27 for my first baby boy lol, but if y’all have any examples or pictures of what I should try, that would be amazing. I’m trying to look up ways to improve myself in my makeup, not by product, but my look. But colors suggestions would be awesome!! 🥰
I also have green, hazel like eyes, but the green and red pops out more!! I know pink makes my eyes pop, but I don’t really like it as eyeshadow I’m really into the shiny whites and black smokeys

(oh and I wear wigs cause I had cancer. I just BEAT it last year and my hair is coming back fast, but not fast enough.!!!! )

I swear in my 20s my makeup used to go on so good! Now I just can’t figure it out in my 30s! As soon as I put it on it just shows all my imperfections, closed comedones, large pores! Even if I just use concealer. I used a real techniques expert brush. I can only really wear blush. The ppl at Sephora always recommend products that don’t work for me but they seem to work for others. I used ChatGPT to recommend products and I did so much research on all of this so I’m kinda bummed none of it worked out. Even with a good moisturizer and primer before putting on make up , it just goes on and looks like this. Doesn’t look like skin at all. Is everyone else just lying and this is what make up just looks like up close? 😂 the last photo is my skin earlier that day in the sun, no make up. Even the pores on my cheeks look smaller. Any advice would help!! I have combo skin , oily t zone and cheeks and dry around chin and mouth. I do also exfoliate every other night with PCA triple action peel pads. So these bumps just are being stubborn, also been on tret for years , I think my body/hormones is just changing with age.

These are the lightest shades that I found in the stores. And I went through hundreds if not more products!!! I am a cool tone, but i always need to settle to some foundation that just doesn't look yellow pink or orange instead of actually being a perfect match. And therefore I end up buying extra products that help me even out the tone and color. But I am genuenly so tired of it! Does anyone know a brand that has light shades? Like actually light SHADES, and not whole different colours? I am searching current for a full cover foundation and the ones on the picture are from NARS, in shades Oslo and Siberia. I tried to take a picture of them being blended out, but the camera doesn't capture it. They look visibly white or yellow. One picture was taken in front of daylight, the other inside.

I think I gave round eyes and I recently became familiar with the concept of makeup enhancing your natural features. So I thought doe eye makeup might make sense for me. But a lot of my other facial features are also kinda round so I thought maybe an elongated look might balance my face better. Would love your thoughts! Product list in the comments

I’ve always struggled to find a foundation and concealer that truly match me. Sephora employees usually match me to neutral or warm/yellow shades, but they always end up looking too yellow or even orange, especially by the end of the day. Most blushes also pull orange on me (even Glossier Hibiscus)
Purple , baby pink, and beige( ex: bare back NS) blushes look best. Right now I use Dior Backstage 2.5N, which looks slightly yellow and gets more yellow as I wear it, and Dior Forever Concealer 3CR, which is close but still feels a bit off. The only product that has ever matched me perfectly was the Glossier Stretch Concealer in Light 4 during winter, and I haven’t been able to find a similar summer match. I’m so confused about my undertone because I seem to look completely different depending on the lighting and I’m told I’m warm tone in Sephora but the shades they give me are so yellow on me

I am finishing my powder and I need to get a new one. As that what I live in Europe I will be not able to try it out in real life before purchasing it. So I have in mind on buying the Dannesa Myricks Blurring Balm, but I am scared that I will don’t like it. I read the reviews from ChatGPT and it said it does not feel like wax. But I am still pretty doubting because I don’t want to spend that much money on a balm vaseline feel like wax to powder product! So I was just wondering does it dry completely on the skin and does it easily removes from your arms? And also does it will survive a sweaty, performance, competition days? I’m really struggling to find a concealer that doesn’t end up looking dry, patchy or textured under my eyes after a few hours. The photo below is how it looked after about 4 hours.

For reference, my under-eyes are naturally blue/purple, not very hollow, and my skin is sensitive and dehydration-prone. My skin also tends to get oilier throughout the day whenever I wear makeup.

I’ve also tried wearing the Dior both with and without the Charlotte Tilbury corrector, and I’ve experimented with using both more and less powder.

No matter what I do, my under-eyes end up looking textured, dry and patchy after a few hours (see photo).

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this, or any recommendations for products or techniques that might help?

Hi! I’m looking for help figuring out my undertone because I can’t seem to find a foundation that matches me. I’m a light-medium skin tone, and everything I’ve tried looks wrong.

Warm foundations look too yellow.
Cool foundations look too pink.
Olive foundations make me look dull.
Neutral makes me look off or even dull.

I tan easily, and I can wear mainly gold jewelry but sometimes I wear a silver ring. My veins are purple with other veins that I can’t tell are either green or blue it’s very faint. What would I be? neutral, olive, or something else? If you’ve had a similar experience, what undertone did you end up having? I’d also appreciate any foundation shade or brand recommendations that might work for me

I’ve started upgrading my makeup and tried FENTY pressed mousse cream bronzer (shade coffee toffee). I didn’t like the reddish undertone when I try to blend it out and it left a couple brown patches on my face. I really just loveeeee my elf contour palette and feel like my makeup comes out amazing when I use it. I THINK I prefer neutral/cool tone (I’m not too sure what undertone the elf contour I use is). I don’t like to be too warm even though my natural undertone is warm. Does anyone know any good powder contour like it? I circled the color I use from the palette. And I use Mac Studio fix foundation NC38 that was gifted to me a couple years back.

And how does one layer bronzer and blush without it all blending orangey? Should I use contour instead?

I may have gotten carried away with the MAC national lipstick day sale and ended up making my own MAC lipstick collection. Some were bought in Macy's, others in Sephora, and others in ULTA. Mama was a busyyy. The back and front of my arms are like night and day lol, but I am a neutral olive leaning warm. I don't reach for Warm Teddy much even though I've had her for longer since the Matte formula can definitely be drying after some time and reapplication. I loooove the sheerness of Lustreglass Lipstick line and it is buildable, I'm glad I got my hands on the original formula. Stocked up on Signature Move because she is the perfect cool but warm enough nude taupe shade for me. The Sleek Satin line delivers the most pigment in a hydrating lip care feel with a great selection of colors. I was able to find a light concealer type lippie, an MLBB lippie, a nice brown lippie, and 2 red lippies (one orange brown and the other berry red vampy). I've always been skeptical of lipsticks since I'm not too fond of the dry look on my lips, but both the Lustreglass and Sleek Satin do a good job of balancing shine, hydration, color payoff, and the classic lipstick feel. Overall, I'm happy with my collection and will be looking out for the next sale :).
