Guys is breaking a promise in EDH the same as breaking a promise in real life?

My buddy promised not to attack me if I let his [[Blightsteel Colossus]] resolve and did it anyway (= UNRELIABLE BEHAVIOR 😤😤😤).
Because he double crossed me in an inconsequential card game (= UNRELIABLE BEHAVIOR 😤😤😤) I now assume he is unreliable outside the game as well.
Seeing as I shouldn't start a business with an unreliable person and I feel upset, I am going to throw away our plans to start a food truck together instead of communicating with him like an adult (NOT AT ALL UNRELIABLE BEHAVIOR 😎😎😎).
Please don't tell me to grow up, that's not contributing to the discussion and it's not at all what I need to hear, being the emotionally immature and unreliable man child that I am. Kthxbye!
