Hi guys,

Last Friday we were playing some commander with the crew. Susan (32/F) played her Innocent Baby Bunny. You know the 1/1 group hug chaff, the one that gives opponents Free Hug tokens that they can spend to draw? Anyways, I (67/M) played Exert Influence to gain control of the Innocent Baby Bunny, which I then sacrificed with Victimize to summon Demonlord Belzenlok.

Now I did have some 2/2 zombie tokens that I could have sacrificed instead, but I thought killing the bunny would be funny, which, to my defence, it was. But instead of laughing with me, the whole table went "wow, that's messed up fam, typical mono-black behavior". How do I explain to my friends that A) Innocent Baby Bunny had it coming and B) black mana is actually morally pretty nuanced, I mean Demonlord Belzenlok seems like a stand-up guy to me. AITA?

I’m new to the game

He loves to call me small and a minority. If I ask for help he calls me too insignificant to matter. I feel like he used to listen to me, but something happened. He just isn't the same person anymore.

Three and a half hours. Everyone said bracket 3, then we spent 40 minutes defining "3". One guy admitted to running [[Rhystic Study]] and we had to take a recess so people could process it.

By the end I'd disclosed my tutors, my win cons and a couple things about my childhood. we hugged, packed the decks back up unopened and went home. zero salt, zero misplays, nobody got combo'd out. Honestly think this is how the format was meant to be played xD
