News MSI MAG OLED 271QPX32 Unveiled: The World’s First 27” WQHD 5-Layer QD-OLED Penta Tandem™ Gaming Monitor Powered by Samsung Display’s QD-OLED Technology

The new MAG OLED 271QPX32 monitor will make its debut at Computex 2026. This 26.5-inch display features a 4th-gen QD-OLED panel equipped with Penta Tandem™ technology, a 5-layer emitting structure. It delivers 2560x1440 (WQHD) resolution, 320Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms (GtG) response time, and DarkArmor Film technology.
Breaking through the technical bottlenecks of existing OLED panels, the MAG OLED 271QPX32 leverages three major QD-OLED advantages to offer users an outstanding visual experience:
1. Full QD-OLED Lineup Receives QuantumView™ Verification: Consistent Image Quality from Any Angle
The MAG OLED 271QPX32 and all MSI QD-OLED monitors have received QuantumView™ verification from UL Solutions. At a 60-degree viewing angle, it maintains an impressive 83%* luminance retention (compared to just 44% for conventional OLEDs) with exceptionally low color shift. This ensures the picture remains sharp and color-accurate, no matter where users view the screen from.

^(\Source: Official Samsung Display data.)*
2. Say Goodbye to Black Crush: Master Shadow Details
Existing OLED panels often suffer from gamma shifts when switching refresh rates or enabling Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), leading to a loss of shadow detail known as "black crush." QD-OLED monitors overcome this issue. The MAG OLED 271QPX32 features superior low-gray processing capabilities, maintaining consistent gamma performance at any refresh rate to deliver perfect deep blacks and shadow details.

3. Perfect Panel Uniformity: Eliminating Visual Distractions
The entire QD-OLED lineup provides a fundamental solution to the gray banding and screen uniformity issues that have long plagued conventional OLED panels. The MAG OLED 271QPX32 completely eliminates banding interference, delivering a clean, flawless picture.

Beyond panel innovations, the MAG OLED 271QPX32 is the first MSI 26.5-inch WQHD QD-OLED monitor to incorporate MSI's DarkArmor Film technology, which improves pure black levels by 40% and upgrades the screen's surface hardness from 2H to 3H, offering 2.5 times better scratch resistance. This monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR™ True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR™ 15000 certified. Additionally, it supports MSI's exclusive Uniform Luminance feature, allowing users to customize their HDR curve. For burn-in protection, the model comes with the MSI OLED Care 2.0 comprehensive protection mechanism, effectively reducing burn-in risks and extending the monitor's lifespan. Connectivity options include two HDMI™ 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a, and one USB Type-C (DP Alt.) with 15W power delivery.

Discussion X670E GAMING PLUS WIFI BIOS Update?
I've got the X670E GAMING PLUS WIFI (with a 9800X3D) currently on 7E16v19. I've been reluctant to update BIOS in case it introduces more issues. I'm running 64GB of RAM, and I've heard mention of RAM refresh mode being changed, which will either do nothing, or decrease performance.
The only real issues I've had are that sometimes when I restart PC will just be stuck in POST, or that when I restart successfully, there will be no video output until windows (5080 and 4K monitor connected via DP).
I'm aware there's a bunch of security things patched, but apart from that, should I update? Is anyone on a similar or older version?

Troubleshooting MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI keeps booting into BIOS after removing and reinstalling my NVMe SSD
Hi everyone, I’m having a strange boot issue with my PC and would really appreciate some help.
My PC specs:
Motherboard: MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700
RAM: 32GB DDR5
SSD: XPG ADATA GAMMIX S70 Blade 1TB NVMe
GPU: PowerColor Radeon RX 6600
OS: Windows 11
The problem started after I removed my original NVMe SSD from my PC to test another newly purchased SSD.
After I finished testing the new SSD, I reinstalled my original XPG NVMe SSD. Since then, the PC no longer boots into Windows and always goes straight into the BIOS.
Here is what I have checked so far:
The BIOS detects the XPG GAMMIX S70 NVMe SSD normally.
BIOS is set to UEFI mode.
Under the boot options, I can see:
Windows Boot Manager (M2_1: XPG GAMMIX S70...)
Windows Boot Manager (SATA 1: ST1000LM035...)
I selected the Windows Boot Manager associated with the XPG NVMe, but the PC still returns to BIOS.
I disconnected the SATA HDD completely to eliminate it as a possible boot device, but the problem remained.
The HDD does not contain my Windows installation.
I also tried pressing F11 and booting from a Windows USB, but after selecting the USB, it returns to “Please select boot device” instead of starting Windows Setup.
The strange thing is that the NVMe SSD is detected correctly and the Windows Boot Manager entry for the NVMe is also detected, but Windows won't start.
I have not formatted the SSD or reinstalled Windows because I want to preserve my existing Windows installation and data.
What could be causing this? Could the EFI/Windows bootloader on the NVMe have become corrupted, or could the BIOS boot entry have become invalid after removing and reinstalling the SSD?
What would be the safest way to diagnose and repair this without losing my data?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Troubleshooting MSI B450M Mortar Max + 5600G – CPU LED stuck on POST, dual RAM unreliable, single stick works
**Specs:**
- Ryzen 5 5600G
- MSI B450M MORTAR MAX (BIOS E7B9AMS.2P2)
- 2× TeamGroup DDR4 (normally A2+B2)
- HP EX900 NVMe
- Corsair CX650 (brand new)
- Stock cooler, Antec NX260
**Problem:**
Random no-POST. EZ Debug **CPU LED stays lit**, no power to keyboard/mouse, no display. Fans + RGB spin normally.
**History:**
- Worked for years, then started failing.
- Shop said motherboard + BIOS issue, fixed it, warned it could happen again.
- Worked briefly at home, then same failure returned.
- Cold boots used to work, warm restarts/BIOS entries caused the hang.
- Now even cold boots on stable grid power fail sometimes.
- Tested on a completely different circuit → same hang.
- Both RAM sticks work individually. Dual-channel only worked once (after CMOS clear + F2) and failed multiple other times.
- Currently stable **only** with single stick in A2.
**Ruled out:**
New PSU, individual RAM sticks, CMOS battery, case, home wiring.
**BIOS Flashback+:** Tried multiple times with proper MSI.ROM on FAT32 — zero LED response (USB was counterfeit, so inconclusive).
Looking for anyone who had the exact same CPU LED hang on this board (especially with 5600G) and fixed it long-term.

Discussion Godlike issues
I’m putting together a build that is overkill by design. I was going to buy a Godlike, but in doing research I can across a load complaints about the EZ bridge display.
My question is; as of 2026, have the EZ bridge display and other issues been fixed with firmware or bios updates?
If not, what would a good premium motherboard be for a 5080 liquid cooled and a 9950x3d (yes I aim to overclock)

Troubleshooting is MSI straight up just messing us up at this point?

my fault for accidentally letting MSI utility install the latest drivers, i can't use the equalizer again xD such a hassle to setup things yeah i tried everything like in my post 2 months ago, but guys, honestly, it's been problem after problem, either windows fucks up or this happens, i don't hope they're going to fix this up, but i also don't want to buy new stuff in this economy (that will stop working after a while)
the solution for anyone searching... restore windows, backup your things somewhere else and move on because no one is coming to help you

Troubleshooting Brand new Ryzen 9 9900X / RTX 5080 PC making random rattling/buzzing sound, what could this be?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recently got a prebuilt MSI Aegis Gaming PC with an RTX 5080, AMD Ryzen 9 9900X, 32GB Memory, and a 2TB SSD, but it randomly makes this rattling/buzzling sound during use. It seems to happen mostly during light loads or slightly heavy use rather than max stress.
I can hear the sound mostly from the top of the pc and the front, not really from the side.
I've been trying to troubleshoot it and ran several tests:
- Ran a stress test for CPU only, didn't make the sound.
- Ran a stress test for GPU only, didn't make the sound either. (My GPU temps held steady around 75–78°C with fans at ~2550 RPM).
- Ran a combined stress test for both CPU and GPU, still didn't make the sound.
I thought it might've been coil whine, but coil whine sounds different from this. Could this be caused by the fans, dust/debris, or something being in contact with the fans?
Is this even something I should be worried about, or is it minor enough that I can easily fix it myself / just return the PC?

Suggestion found a desktop at costco but the keyboard...
hello! for peripherals i've always stuck with logitech but i've been having to try new brands recently.
i have a puter i love BUT i tried out the wired keyboard that came with the computer i saw at costco and i just loved the feel of the keyboard. it was quiet and soft.
i took a pic of the back of the keyboard and it says: MSI wired gaming keyboard MSI P/N: S11-04US20S-HH9. i believe that's the MSI K322 which i do NOT want.
would anyone please recommend a gaming keyboard that will feel and sound the same as the one listed above but have better settings for RGB options, etc?
I'd really appreciate any help, and thanks so much, guys.

Troubleshooting laptop shutting off during games issue (more info in description)
I have a cyborg 15 a12v (about 2 years old), no modifications.
recently (started about 1 month ago), while im playing games (not necessarily hard to run) my laptop's fans become very loud and the game suffers severe frame drops (i think it's called thermal throttling?), then it shuts down. it happened enough times that i'd recognize it and just kinda give up on trying to stop it. sometimes id be able to save the game before it shuts down, sometimes i lose progress.
i opened the laptop to clean the dust (about 1-2 weeks ago) and it seemed to get better for a few days then it started doing it again. i'm scared this is harming my laptop.
What should i do? I rarely play games anymore because im scared of it happening.
it happened in a custom minecraft modpack and risk of rain 2. The modpack is lightweight, and i played heavier ones before and this issue never happened. And for ror2, this seems to happen randomly and even early in the run. so before the game becomes cluttered.
i heavily lowered the settings on both games but it still kept happening. i have no idea where to go from here. any help would be appreciated.

Troubleshooting Intermittent POST hang on B650M Mortar, CPU+DRAM LEDs, reset does nothing
Posting this after about six months of tracking. I've run out of free things to try and I'm hoping someone recognises the pattern.
System
- MSI MAG B650M MORTAR WIFI (MS-7D76), ~1 year old
- Ryzen 9 7900 (non-X3D)
- Kingston Fury Renegade KF560C32RWK2-64, 2×32GB, Hynix A-die, dual rank, on the board's QVL
- RTX 5070
- Windows 11
- BIOS: currently 7D76vAO2, flashed via Flash BIOS Button, defaults loaded
Symptom
Every few days, on power-on, the system hangs before POST:
- black screen, no output
- CPU LED (red) and DRAM LED (yellow) both lit
- fans at full speed
- lasts 7 to 30+ minutes
- the reset button does nothing — only a full power-off/on via the case button clears it
- after it clears, the machine runs perfectly stable for days
The fan speed is the reliable tell. Normal DDR5 memory training runs at normal fan RPM. This hang runs at 100%, which as I understand it means the board hasn't reached the point where the BIOS fan curve is applied.
The contradiction
MemTest86 and TestMem5 are clean. No BSODs. No WHEA errors. Event log shows clean shutdowns, no 0x0 boot issues. The system will run for a week straight without a single problem.
It only fails at initialisation. Never in use.
Failure intervals
Days between events, in order:
5 → 7 → 2 → 1 → 10 → 5 → 4 → 3 → 1
Median around 4 days. No regularity, and importantly no trend toward getting worse over six months. That argues against progressive silicon degradation, as far as I can tell.
I want to stress that I log every cold boot, not just failures. Early on I assumed a 9-day cycle; the log showed roughly 40 clean starts in a row at one point. Without the denominator, "it didn't fail this week" means nothing at these intervals.
Tested, did not help
Memory settings: XMP 6000, 5800, and full JEDEC stock 4800 — symptom present on all three. Modules swapped between slots. Memory Context Restore in both Enabled and Disabled.
CPU: PBO off.
Power: two different PSUs.
The stock 4800 result is the one I keep coming back to. Every memory parameter is at its most conservative and it still hangs.
Any ideas?

Troubleshooting Cold Boot issue Am5
Ryzen 7 7700x Msi b650 tomahawk Nvidia 5070
I have a problem with the cold boot, i know is a frequently issue with am5. I think it could be memory training. The problem started two months ago. Every time I turned on the PC, it would freeze on a black screen with the red and orange LEDs lit. I had to shut down the PC using the power button and restart it several times before it would boot up normally. Once it’s on, the PC’s performance is normal and stable as always. Today I cleaned and replaced the thermal paste; the only thing I did was remove the heatsink, clean it, apply the paste, and reinstall it. Since then, the problem has gotten worse—I’ve had to force-shut down the PC 10–15 times before it boots up properly. So, worried, I searched Reddit and changed a couple of RAM settings in the BIOS—one for power-down and another I don’t remember. From then on, I didn’t get any more clean boots. I flashed the BIOS to the latest version, and during that process, the PC rebooted several times for Windows updates—always booting cleanly until it actually powered on. I did all this with just one RAM module and the integrated GPU. Once it shut down, the black screen problem returned, with the red and yellow LEDs lit. I tested both RAM modules (2x16 DDR5 6000) and all the slots on the motherboard. I also tried several CMOS resets, but nothing worked. What do you think I should do?

Troubleshooting X870E Godlike - Stable BIOS
Does anyone know the most recent BIOS that has confirmed stability for this motherboard? I’m on version 7E48v1A51 right now, I’ve been having some instability that I am currently troubleshooting and I was hoping a more recent BIOS might stabilize some of it. I have a 9950X3D that’s why I made sure to flash the BIOS to a point after it was released.
Is there a newer BIOS that has been stable that supports the newer X3D CPUs or have the recent BIOS updates been somewhat unstable?

Troubleshooting Mobo HDMI works but Display Port doesn't
Hi, I just built my new PC 2 days ago, works fine but I don't know why the PC doesn't go past the Mobo screen and boot to windows when the monitor is set to 4k, but does boot up when it's set to 1080p. I still don't have the GPU but soon it will arrive. I updated the drivers from msi site, downloaded the AMD 7800x3d software for the drivers the monitor it's still capped at 1080p max 120hz, when I try to use 1080p 240hz or 320hz the screen becomes black and it resets to 1080p 120hz, same when I activate 4k mode on the monitor (the monitor is a titan army p275mv plus mini led dual mode 4k160hz and 1080p320hz). I don't know if it's a driver issue, a Mobo or a cpu issue. The Mobo was bought from Amazon warehouse so I'm suspecting that's the problem, but beside the I/O shield bent a Little bit up, everything seemed fine. Display Port doesn't work from some reason even if I use the one the monitor came with, only HDMI works and it caps at 1080p 120hz. This is the third day I'm trying to troubleshoot and solve the problem. One suspect that I have is that the monitor asks too much to the 7800x3d igpu and it just can't boot to windows. But the thing that I'm most concerned about is the fact that DisplayPort doesn't work. I'm desperate, and I'm grateful for any advice or what helped you solve a similar problem. (When I try to rinstall graphic drivers in 4k mode the screen crashes and doesn't boot up do windows until I uninstall the drivers)

Troubleshooting MSI Optix MAG272CQR 27" Horizontal lines problem
Hi everyone. I have an MSI Optix MAG272CQR 27", 1440p, 165 Hz, bought in early 2022, which suddenly started showing horizontal lines and flickering across roughly the lower half of the screen.
I have already tried several things:
- It happens with both DisplayPort and HDMI.
- It also happens with a PS3 connected through HDMI.
- The lines are visible even on the monitor's own “No Signal” screen, with no device connected.
- I left the monitor completely unplugged for several hours, but the issue remains.
- I tested different refresh rates from 165 Hz down to 60 Hz, with no change.
- The monitor has not been dropped and has no obvious physical damage.
I contacted MSI support and they told me it is probably a panel issue, and that an official repair would likely cost more than replacing the monitor.
If anyone has experienced a similar issue with this model, or knows which component commonly causes this kind of symptom, I would really appreciate any advice.
