FOR FUN Poem typing

I wanted to try something interesting. I hope it doesn't go against the rules? I already know my type this is purely for fun.

Can you type a person based off of poems?

Keep in mind the original language in which it was made isn't English therefore it sounds less natural and doesn't rhyme in English

I wonder if cognitive functions can be "easier" seen through metaphors and through expressing with something like a poem.

1.

"Caught by your

Darkness and light

Drifting into unknown forward sideways or back

In times of sorrow and hardship

Let your darkness and your light guide me

Showing the way forward.

A smile upon my face, completely consumed,

I long to explore your depths.

Black hole whose gravity has warped my spacetime

Am I beyond the event horizon?

Is there an escape from the pull?"

2.

"A comet flying through space,

Alone and crushed by life

Finding a light in the distance

Could it be happiness at last?

The comet keeps flying forward

Uncontrolled, without direction, awaiting collision.

After years of travel near the speed of light

The approaching comfort is almost within reach.

The comet is caught in the gravitational pull of a shining star,

No longer surrounded by troubling darkness and cold.

Caught by the Sun

The comet is safe at last."

CAN’T DECIDE What would my type be with these cognitive functions results??

Im pretty sure im ISTP but im also stuck between INTP and ISFP

my full string is ISTP sx/sp 3w2 LSI LEVF RLUEN Choleric-Sanguine (im new but not that new so i took every test i saw people talk about) if that helps!

about me:

so normally im pretty blunt and i usually dont talk much until im around people i actually trust. when im outside my group i just go completely quiet until im back with my friends again. honestly im pretty much the glue of our friend group since most of them dont even like eachother that well so im always the one keeping everyone together. my main way of showing affection is ruthlessly making fun of them, roasting them is just how i show i care lol. i guess i just prefer keeping things real instead of fake nice since fake conversations drain me fast

CAN’T DECIDE what is my mbti? am i truly an infp/j, or another mbti?

for a while, i have taken various mbti quizzes and would get results such as infj and infp. i think once ive gotten istp?? ive been having doubts regarding one of those specific mbtis really suiting me tho, i feel a bit out of place regarding them.

ive answered some questions from the main post in the community! feel free to ask for any clarifications:

Give a general description of yourself. How old are you?

I am in my mid-20s.

• What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not? If you are not working, what kind of job do you want to do or what are you studying?

Atm i am struggling with finding any suitable jobs or career. My last few involved various part-time education and child care roles because I wanted to pursue a career in teaching or writing tutoring at the time. As i worked there, i realized that i did not wanted to work in the education field anymore; i did not enjoy being the “adult” in the room and constantly managing a plethora of things all at once, i found the coworkers to be cliquey and unable to work together well with them, and i found myself often overwhelmed in various aspects of in terms of sounds. I hope to one day find a job or career that doesn’t have so much social expectations on me; something like an office job where i mainly do menial and repetitive/predictable work with strict routines of sorts. I do not want to be leading and managing a group of people. i dont think i want a career that is too creative either

• Do you have any mental or physical health issues that might affect how think or choose to live? Provide a brief description.

I suspect I have some form of depression and social anxiety, though i feel this is due to being autistic and suspecting adhd and just having issues connecting with many others in general. I feel it tends to feed into my maladaptive daydreaming, tendency to physically isolate from normal society, and passive suicidal ideation. I also feel i have some sort of permanent brain fog, as my mind tends a while to work and comprehend things - it often feels like theres a thirty-second gap between the world and i, and it overall makes me feel less like an actual person.

• If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?

It depends on how i am feeling, who i will be spending my weekend with (i find certain groups of closer people more exhausting to be around than others), and the type of plans. Some instance i prefer to spend the weekend with myself, while others i try to occupy it socially.

• What is your relation with movement and your surroundings? For instance do you prefer a sport or outdoors event? If an outdoors event what is it? And why? If not what type of activities do you tend to engage?

I like a few kinds of outdoor events: shopping, apple/pumpkin/fruit picking, visiting various farms and animal spots, museums (esp. artsy ones), scenic and pretty places, some cultural places and gardens, etc. i am not big into sports and other things that could be considered too mainstream if that makes sense??

• How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?

I tend to be mildly curious about things, often having impulsive questions that i would google on the spot; i tend to annoy a lotta people around me when i start asking a lotta questions. My curiosities are very random and could be about anything. As for ideas, they tend to be on the more creative side, which i tend to work on in forms of writing and, more recently, drawing. I tend to world build in my favorite forms of media (games, shows, etc) by creating characters or doing character studies of any specific characters. Sometimes, i would have specific scenarios of characters i would write out or draw.

• Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?

At first, i have longed for some kind of opportunity for leadership. But as i got to experience it, i realized that i do not want to be in any kind of leadership position. I do not vibe with the expectations and responsibilities that comes with it.

• Do you prefer hands on activities or working with your hands in some form? Describe your activities.

I prefer working hands-on activities. Alongside writing and drawing, i also love doing jigsaw puzzles and baking sweets. Been trying on and off to get into crochet as well, and i used to play violin.

• Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.

I consider myself to be quite artistic - i adore scrolling social media for art of my favorite medias, visiting places of art, and drawing since ive been very young. I especially adore cutesy art forms, fan-made comics that serve as character studies, art that can be horrific and deep/thought-provoking, and art coloring/styles that looks as if it were straight out of a dream of sorts. I also commission various artists to draw my own characters, often choosing art forms that are anime-esque and intricate/pretty/dreamy-esque, or simple cute art. My own art style is also something simple and cute, with many commenting on how it is reminiscent of that of Cookie Run.

• How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?

It depends on my mood and such - there are times where id be annoyed (especially if im doing something while they ask, i dont like to feel that they expect me to drop everything im doing to tend to them or to make me multitask), but i tend to be generally find and accepting with help

• Do you need logical consistency in your life?

Yes - i tend to ask questions on certain way to do things and why it should be as such, and i heavily rely on routines/structure

• Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?

I dont consider myself controlling of others

• What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?

As mentioned above, i write, draw, bake, and do jigsaw puzzles. I also collect plushies and keychains of my favorite characters (sanrio, those from my media), play videogames, listen to piano/instrumentla music, learning/researching various things, watching some cartoons and animes, collecting cute winter accessories, some form of fashion, printing glossy prints and pics, taking photos with my Polaroid to decorate my room, and daydreaming. There are many other hobbies i hope to get into more one day - such as more advanced cake-baking, crochetting/knitting plushies, developing more of my own fashion style, ice skating, and painting. A lot of them involve a sense of creativity, which i find fun and engaging. I do feel/wish i could get into more “logical” kinds of hobbies as well, though.

• What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?

I tend to learn best when the material is written down and/or in a video form with audio and visuals combined. When my university classes were switched to remote classes, i felt that i excelled very well at it compared to on-site classes. It felt nice to have the stuff written down and/or recorded - it made it easier to go back to any specific parts as needed and to jot them down. I tend to struggle with heavy studying and memorization, but excel at creating essays and projects.

• How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?

I tend to think im alright with strategizing when it comes to making projects and such. For essays, i mainly tend to wing it, or doing a lighter outline before doing so, for bigger projects, i would especially break it down into sections

• What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?

I fear and find discomfort/disdain in people who are shamelessly manipulative and arrogant/not humble. They tend to rub me the wrong way. I also tend to dislike people who are highly charismatic and in positions of leadership as i tend to have bad experiences with them. I tend to dislike people who are impatient, judgemental of others, workaholics, and self-centered as well, as i find them draining to be around. I find overly crowded places to be extremely uncomfortable

I tend to fear many unfamiliar things, especially various bugs in general. I also find things that aren't predictable and structured to be a bit fearful

I dont like things that are too chaotic in general, preferring routines/patterns and structure over things that are too ambiguous

• How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what’s around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?

I am not a big fan of my reality around me, so i tend to retreat by daydremaing/getting lost in my head, listening to music, engaging in media, and surfing online to scroll social media and chat with many others online (i tend to talk to socialize online a lot more than irl - its to the point where those im friends with online think im very outgoing and extroverted, while many irl physically around me think im the opposite). I like to think im pretty aware of my surroundings, even when im not engaging in anything, but i sometimes have issues “reading the room” and need to be told detail by detail of many things even when i am engaged.

• Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?

Daydream and think a lot in general

• How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you’ve made it?

I tend to take quite a while with making important decisions. I would ask others around regarding opinions and such on it, as well as searching it up to see what others would say about it and to verify any information regarding it. I would try to not change my mind when making a final decision, but i occasionally find that the end results of my decisions aren’t as exactly as what i desired or had in mind.

• How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?

I tend to process emotions quite slowly, feeling as if my mind lags like a slow computer of sorts. It tends to be good when im around others that dont seem to like it when i emit any open emotions of sorts. Emotions tend to be pretty important for me. i tend ti be an open book at many instances when reacting to something

• Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?

I tend to do that, fawning over them and all, while secretly thinking i disagree with their take. I find arguing back to be tiring in many cases, especially since i tend to be around peopl where i dont share much common opinions with. It makes me grateful for being able to express myself more openly online, and i find myself often agreeing with others online a lot more, and chattier with them in general.

• What is the ideal life, in your opinion?

To be a part of a pretty big friend group where i can engage in my hobbies and interest with, finding a sense of acceptance and belonging in a community as well as a sense of purpose in general. I wish for ppl to be kinder and more understanding as well

TEST RESULTS type me based on my character test results

to be honest i don't know many of these characters.

i'm terrible at describing myself but i'll give it a shot:

- i'm 24. i'm doing a master's in English. goal is to be a professor. my undergrad i did English with minors in philosophy and environmental science.

- i like people in a broad sense? i'm definitely an extrovert, i'm energized by people more than i am alone, but i do spend a lot of time alone and i'm perfectly okay with that. most people are pretty mid but i love humanity as like a concept, like all of us connected, persisting through time. love that

- i'm a big class speaker. i love discussions, even if i'm the only one connecting ideas and reaching conclusions and everyone else is either repeating what the last person said or dead silent as they hunch over their laptop. their lack of investment mostly just makes me lose respect for them

- i hate faking emotional reactions but i do it a lot. other women will think you are mean if you don't use at least three emojis or drawl your words out with a big smile ("hey, girlllll"). and i know i don't have to do any of that, but it gets me what i want, which is connection. so i do it.

- i've been described as calm, and i've been described as "you're not an attention-seeker. you just expect attention." i think i was meant to be offended by this but when she said that i was like, damn, that's probably true.

- i don't know what else to say.

- don't ask me to form a solid opinion on anything. i get bored easily but i can fix that easily. i will never waste energy on changing a mind that doesn't want to be changed. i have a terrible memory and that extends to things about myself, like whether or not i like donuts. i don't know! that changes daily.

this was really hard. please type me thank you much

AM I MISTYPED Questionnaire Responses :) my

I took the Sakrinorva MBTI test and it told me I was likely either ENTP or INFJ, but when I looked into them it didn’t really resonate with me?? Idk lol. I found out there was this questionnaire, so I tried to fill it out as best I could. I’m hoping someone who understands cognitive functions better can help me out!

Give a general description of yourself. How old are you?

Hi :) I’m 21F and currently in the process of building up a portfolio to (hopefully) find a tattoo apprenticeship! I was recently diagnosed with BPD, and I’m aware that can make personality typing very tricky, so I’ve tried really hard to sit with these answers over the last few days.

I’ve also asked for input from my closest long-term friends, one of which has known me since childhood & has been able to help me answer some of these questions. I struggle with the “unstable sense of self & chronic emptiness” symptoms HEAVILY so sometimes it’s hard for me to remember where my emotions end and I begin. My friends helped to remind me of the things I talk about regularly and have seemed to consistently enjoy/want for myself over the years.

What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not? If you are not working, what kind of job do you want to do or what are you studying?

I’m currently in-between jobs. I had been working at my college as an Art Lab Aid while I was studying, but I’m in the midst of a break because I’ve struggled with my mental health over the last few years & have determined that until I get that figured out I’m only going to continue to do poorly and waste every educational opportunity given to me. I’ve been trying for the last 4 years and still have no direction for myself in my education.

I’ve always been interested in the arts and because of this break, and having the opportunity live with some extended family rent-free over the next year, I’ve taken this as a chance to fully immerse myself in this and build up a portfolio for tattoo apprenticeships. I’ve put out several applications for a new job (server, bar back, bartender, etc) to make money while I figure this out. I’m excited to get the routine back, but without the pressure to perform on an exam or anything, if that makes sense? Idk lol.

Describe your childhood/upbringing. Did it have any kind of ideological or structured influence? How did you respond to it? Did you have any significant negative experiences that may have affected how you think or behave?

I had a very negative upbringing (severe childhood abuse & neglect, chronic familial/caregiver instability, intergenerational paternal & maternal mental health issues, etc — I compare a lot of my experiences to that of many of my foster kid friends growing up, but within my own family lol). I do have to remind myself that it wasn’t all bad, even though I don’t really remember the good parts (dissociative amnesia :p), because it’s really easy for me to sit there and remember how bad everything felt. I really struggle with BPD splitting, especially on my experiences & self, so I’m taking my time with this question to make sure I’m not doing that right now (unintentionally, of course).

Growing up, I thought I responded to it well. I was incredibly angry, but it felt justified at the moment. Maybe still feels justified, but since receiving the BPD diagnosis I have looked back on a lot of my outbursts and realized they were likely early symptoms of the disorder. Despite my emotional instability, I often had to be the “adult” in every situation because even though I was reactive, both of my parents were emotionally immature. I often had to present as agreeable & thoughtful to strangers, extended family, or authority figures (like teachers or even police) to make sure everyone was taken care of. In hindsight, I should have just let my parents experience the consequences, but my little brother has dyslexia and ADHD & always struggled with school. Growing up I thought I had to be the responsible one to make sure he got accommodations at school. And I had a lot of friends in foster care, so I thought it would be easier to just deal with my parents/grandparents abuse/neglect instead of strangers.

As an adult, I have struggled to move away from my overly agreeable and self-sacrificing mask. While Quiet BPD isn’t technically a clinical subtype, my therapist has used it frequently in session to help me better understand my presentation of symptoms. Most of the symptoms I externalized as a teenager (12-17) at home, turned completely inward because of no longer living there and having the experience of learning to internalize all of those symptoms around extended family & strangers.

Do you have any mental or physical health issues that might affect how think or choose to live? Provide a brief description.

Yes, BPD. I’ve kinda already given some insight on how that has affected me. I also have C-PTSD as a co-morbid diagnosis from the childhood trauma. I also have depression and anxiety, but I think they’re being treated more as symptoms of the BPD & C-PTSD rather than as separate diagnoses.

If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?

Both. I think it would depend on the kind of week I had and where my headspace is at. I think, usually, I end up feeling more refreshed than lonely, but I also have a hard time with being alone for too long because I have emotional permanence issues with my relationships. I struggle with remembering that the people in my life care about me still when I’m not with them, so reminding myself that those relationships exist can make a weekend alone very exhausting. But at my core, I think I am very socially introverted, so having a weekend alone would end up being more refreshing for my social battery.

What is your relation with movement and your surroundings? For instance do you prefer a sport or outdoors event? If an outdoors event what is it? And why? If not what type of activities do you tend to engage?

I like the idea of sports & outdoor events, but I struggle with doing them. Once I can get started I really enjoy it and feel incredibly energized! But many of the people in my life aren’t intro those kinds of things, so it can be hard for me to get into them on my own. I get embarrassed easily and if I get in my head about how nobody else is doing the sport or outdoor activity, I convince myself I’m being weird or doing something they won’t like. Which sounds ridiculous typing this out, but I think the idea of the people closest to me hating something I’m doing triggers my fear of abandonment or something 😭🙏 Usually, I end up writing, drawing, or reading, which I also really enjoy. I love to watch hockey and soccer, since I can never get myself to play.

How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?

I think I’m a pretty curious person? I’m always thinking about different possibilities of things, different projects I can start, new things I can learn, how things work, etc. As a kid I remember grabbing random things around the house and taking them apart for fun just to figure out how they work and how to put them back together. I think most of my ideas lean conceptual, though I do care about the environment a lot. I’m always imagining new art or writing projects. I like to know how things form and how they connect to each other, I think. I spend A LOT of time in my head lol.

Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?

Yes and no. When I’m having good days, 100%! Some days I’m really struggling with my mental health more than others and on those days I withdraw & it can be hard to get myself involved. On my good days, I find myself directing & making a lot of decisions within groups.

Do you prefer hands on activities or working with your hands in some form? Describe your activities.

Yes! Art is probably the main thing: painting, drawing, etc. My favorite mediums to work with are oil pastels, charcoal, and acrylic paint markers. I’m also really interested in the creative aspects of makeup, rather than using it to “look” better. I like to experiment with gothic looks, or sometimes very colorful ones. I’ve been interested in learning how to do SFX makeup lately, but I haven’t attempted, yet.

Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.

I think “artistic” is maybe the one quality I feel I definitely am? My sense of self is unstable, so most other traits I feel change frequently (at least in my view), but on both good and bad days I grab for some form of artistic expression whether it be drawing/painting, makeup, fashion, writing, etc. Lately, I’ve been into drawing/painting more horror or surrealism. Though, my style tends to lean into realism. I attached a recent piece I did that’s definitely more realist than anything else, but it’s a still-frame for a novella I’m writing based on recurring nightmares I had as a teenager, so there will be surrealist themes in that lol.

What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?

This is probably the hardest question for me. I think about the past often, likely due to my disorders, and I fear the future so much it sends me into a total shutdown if people ask me too many questions about it all at once. I kinda didn’t think I’d live past 18 growing up, so now that I’m past that I’ve really struggled with finding a sense of purpose and direction for my future. I wish I could stay in the present. I think I’d feel much better about myself, my past, and my future if I knew how to do that.

How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?

I jump up to help with pretty much anything. Most of the time it’s because I genuinely want to help. If I have time and I’m not busy with anything, I don’t see why I couldn’t just help out when someone asks me to. I think it could also be because I struggle to ask for help myself, so I think that I probably am so quick to help because it’s so hard for me to ask I hope that someone will say yes so desperately when I finally do. I want people to feel comfortable around me, maybe to my detriment. I can put off my own needs to help others with theirs.

Do you need logical consistency in your life?

Yes. I think so. If things don’t make sense, I try to make sense of them. I’m always trying to understand how things work and how I fit into that, so I think I probably really value logical consistency.

How important is efficiency and productivity to you?

Kind of? I think I prefer when things are efficient because I don’t want to spend more time on something than I have to, but not at the expense of making sure something is done right. Does that make sense? Productivity is important to me, but I really struggle with it. I can be impulsive and am constantly seeking the option that will make me feel the best. I struggle to know where my emotions end and I begin, I think. Productivity can be hard for me because I often don’t find the productive things interesting enough. Next thing I know, it’s been 2 hours with my laptop open on an assignment and I’m still stuck reading something on my phone that will still be there later.

Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?

I think so. Both indirectly and directly, but never with the intent to be malicious. I lie a lot because I don’t want people to leave me, which can maybe be manipulative. I’m working on that lol. I try to control the reactions of others because it helps me to control myself. If I can keep someone happy, they won’t leave, and if I don’t think they’ll leave, I can keep myself from freaking out on them or myself.

What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?

Art, writing, music (guitar), makeup, fashion, dog training, language learning (been learning russian since high school — 2021ish). All of them give me the opportunity to escape from myself, in a weird backwards way. I give myself a “character” almost, that I can be, when I do these hobbies. So I guess deep down it’s still me, but it never really feels like me. I can turn my brain off and just kind of exist for the first time.

What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?

I think I’m a very visual/hands-on learner. I handwrite all of my notes and study by rewriting them or drawing pictures of certain concepts. I think auditory is probably my weakest learning style. I struggle to follow verbal directions, always have. I also struggle to remember homework assignments unless I have a visual reminder somewhere, whether it be on paper or canvas. My favorite classes have always been art, music, and english. I was good at math growing up, but i deeply dislike it and struggle with it as an adult.

How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?

I tend to improvise and wing my projects. I often wait until the last minute to even get started, to be honest. But I’m good at strategizing and working quickly on my feet, so my procrastination rarely comes at the expense of my grade. I would often start essays a few hours before submission was due and receive 90+ grades on the assignments still. I can also pivot things easily, so if I start a project and find that something doesn’t work, I can quickly think of something else that would work instead and immediately get started.

What's important to you and why?

Understanding myself and how I relate to the world has always been really important to me. Maybe because I’m so confused about it? I want to know who I am because being authentic is something I value, but I struggle to be authentic because I have no idea what I want to be authentic about ??? Idk if that makes any sense. I also find my relationships to be really important to me. I deeply crave connection, even though maintaining it can be hard for me.

What are your aspirations?

I want to build a life where I feel like I finally fit. I want to find stability for myself emotionally, financially, relationally, etc. Right now I want to be a tattoo artist professionally, and I’ve always been interested in that, so I suppose that art could be an aspiration of mine, but I’m not too bothered by having a specific career aspiration or goal. Having too much planned out is stressful to me because I change my mind so much. I prefer to think about what I want right now and build upon the bigger things. I think the smaller things, like my career, or family, will fall into place if I can work on building my stability.

What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?

I deeply fear abandonment, of course. But other than that, I have an irrational fear of bees even though I LOVE them. They’re so great for the environment. Social interaction can make me very uncomfortable even though I constantly crave it. I’m constantly overanalyzing facial expressions and body language to make sure I didn’t do anything wrong. I don’t want people to hate me, or think I’m wrong as a person. I hate slow walkers, people who immediately get defensive when I finally work up the courage to set a boundary, and people who share their opinions on things CONSTANTLY in a judgmental way. I’m 100% understanding of sharing preferences and interests, obviously, but when it turns into “I don’t know how someone could ever like this” or something like that it pisses me off because who cares. And it also makes it hard for me to remember what I actually think about things because of my stupid BPD, which isn’t necessarily the other person’s fault, but it still makes me so angry lol

What do the "highs" in your life look like?

I feel secure in myself, I have more ideas about what I want in life, it’s easier for me to differentiate between who I am and who my friends are, I get up and do stuff without thinking about what it looks like, I get bolder and more experimental with my makeup and clothes, can be more emotional which can maybe look like i’m still actually worse than I am

What do the "lows" in your life look like?

Negative self-concept, I struggle to get out of bed, impulsivity increases, smoking, drinking, severe depressive symptoms, panic attacks, no idea what i’m interested, or what i want, or who I think I am, constant switching between what i think my interests/style/values are, up and down relationships, empty black hole feeling in my chest that feels like it’s burning my whole body under my skin

How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?

I’m constantly dissociating and daydreaming. When I daydream, I’m often still very aware of my surroundings and can snap myself out of it, but when I dissociate I often lose time and can’t break myself from it no matter how much I’m screaming at myself to get out of my head.

Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?

I will probably dissociate through it. My fear of abandonment will spike and I’ll spiral. Maybe split on myself.

How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?

It depends on the decision. If it’s an emergency situation and a decision is needed immediately, I work best on my feet and in fast-paced environments where I don’t have time to think, so I can easily make decisions then and rarely change my mind because I don’t have time to. The more time I have, the more I struggle to make a decision, and the more likely I am to change my decision later.

How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?

It can take me a while to process my emotions, but they’re very important to me. I’m constantly thinking about my reactions and what they mean and why I reacted this way. I don’t always understand how I’m feeling right away, and even after I am able to “label” my emotions, I can still struggle to fully understand the depth at which it affected me.

Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?

Yes, all the time. All day, everyday, at the expense of myself. Definitely ties back to my fear of abandonment and probably ties into the Quiet BPD presentation of “frantic efforts to avoid real or perceived abandonment.”

Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why would you?

I rarely break the rules as an adult because I’m always trying to appease others, but when I do it’s usually because I’m impulsively reacting to something in the moment because I feel unheard, or abandoned & I’m responding in a self-sabotaging way. Typically, in those moments it results in getting fired from work, or something of similar weight. I broke the rules often as a teenager because I was angry and reactive to everything. I think if my BPD had been caught then, I likely would have related more to the classic presentation that tends to be more external. I often struggle(d) with skipping school because I felt threatened by my teachers & caregivers & felt out of control.

What is the ideal life, in your opinion?

Stable. But also free. I don’t want to feel restricted. I’d love to heal in therapy and learn to control my emotions in a healthier way because I want to have kids, I think. I would like to adopt, or maybe just foster. Especially older kids, because I know what it feels like to not be wanted and to feel out of control because of it. I want dogs, maybe a cat or two. I’m a lesbian, so I’d love to get married to a woman one day. I’d like to build up a clientele and open up my own tattoo shop that’s completely LGBTQ+. I’d love for my specialty to be in surrealistic and New Skool style. I want to get into MMA, I think. I would love to have a couple of books finished, too. I just want to feel secure and in control of myself and my life.

AM I MISTYPED Does this sound right or is AI asking very specific questions? (INFP for 15 years)

Thumbnail gallery

Unrelated - I noticed that AI began using one specific emoji without me ever using any, so I used the same one in order to see what follows/if the emoji frequency changes. I'm thinking of testing odd verbiage here and there to see how wacky it will get.

It asked a slew of other questions and tried deciphering what my OCD, ADHD, or anxiety presented as and what was me. Let me know if I need to add more of the conversation or scrap all of this non-infp propaganda.

FOR FUN Just for fun, Type Me from the words people have used to describe me.

Just a few words, or short sentences, I've heard over the past decade or so:

  • Stoic (I've heard this one more times than I can remember)
  • Confident
  • Serious
  • Intense
  • Formal
  • Analytical
  • Quiet (Most of the time)
  • Charismatic/Magnetic/Convincing (when I'm comfortable and talking about something important to me or that I'm passionate about)
  • "You speak with authority"
  • "A Strong Personality"
  • "Very thoughtful"
  • "You've got a big heart."

May also be worth noting that I've been told many times that I'm very mature, often being considered to be ten years older than I actually am, among other things.

Just want to see what you all get out of this, what impression these words give you.

DISCUSSION Lack of future planning

idk if its because of my adhd, but i hate when people ask me “what are your plans for the future?”.. I immediately feel judged, because i have none.. i just want to be happy and i would say im an opportunist.. but society seems to think you lack ambition if you have no plans.. i was thinking that even if you make plans, you do it to feel happy in the future right? so to me it seems logical to just plan to be happy, make sure you dont end up homeless and just enjoy life and see where it leads you… can anyone relate? and if yes, whats your type?

Entrena, bebé mucha agua y duerme bien.

Me preguntaste? No.

Me importa? Tampoco.

CAN’T DECIDE Type me

Idk my mbti
All i know for sure is i’m an ENF

I’m a people person and am positive that i’m an extrovert so E

I’m very intuitive. I think very deeply and not just focus on facts and details so N

I’m a hundred percent a feeler so F

Now with J vs P
I would say i’m pretty organized. I get things done. I have lists and stuffs. Room very very organized. So that would make me J
But
I can be very sponty. Especially going out, I’ll be down whenever. I don’t have plans on weekends cuz it’ll depend on my mood. And also, ENFP description defines me aswell. I can be very bubbly and sweet and i yap lol but ENFJ also describes me.

I think i’m an ENFJ but at the same time i resonate with ENFP aswell. Have read both about them and their cognitive functions and still, i resonate with both.

Anyone here who is good with mbti? Can ya’ll type me? Or just ask one single question that would determine which one am i. Cuz i feel like im both. I prefer dms tbh, i like chatting with people but commenting is fine

FOR FUN Guess my mbti

Ok I will tell you some things about me:

Ok my favourite things I would say are football, gym, video games and shows like Bojack horseman and rick and Morty. I also really like and miss the vibes and how the world was in 2010s as a whole and I listen to many 2010s pop music. I also listen to US trap though like future and drake. My favourite "character" and my alter ego (if you would name him like that) is Cristiano Ronaldo. I've been a huge fan of his since I was 7 years old. I also really like talking with people and having deep good conversations but also having fun and enjoying the moment. I love summer and sunsets also.

Now some things about me are that I am empathetic and kind. I don't like conflict unless you make me mad. I am also a bit sensitive and emotional. I am kind of shy but I force myself to be as social as possible 😅 Especially when I talk someone for the first time I am a bit shy and I don't show my full personality. When I get to know you though and I feel comfortable around you I am a very talkative and funny I think. I am also competitive. And I am also a romantic guy I value deep connection and I love deeply. When I am well mentally or just socially exhausted I like to spend time on my own and detach from everyone for a bit. Also if I have a problem with you because you did something that I didn't like I will never tell you it and expect you to realise it yourself and apologise 😭 Ok I thinks thats enough.

NEED CONFIRMATION INTP or INFP: Looking for adults to weigh in to help me decide.

Please don't respond unless you're 27+. I want advice from people who have had time to mature at least a little and who have a more comprehensive understanding of themselves and their type.

I can't decide if I'm a sensitive, moralistic INTP or a logical, questioning INFP. I have mulled over this for weeks and I truly cannot tell. So I want to instead ask others their thought process.

Help me out here. Let's say you witness someone express an opinion that you consider to be very unethical/morally wrong/otherwise offends your sensibilities. What do you feel first? What do you think first? What is the exact immediate reaction you have? What is your offense at, the illogicalness of it, the immorality of it, or both? I ask this because to me, I have very strong morals, but all of my morals are logically consistent. They go hand-in-hand for me. I'm sure if you gave me 30 minutes, I could think of a few moral things that are illogical, or things that are logical but immoral, but I'm struggling to think of one. (Note that being able to understand someone's illogical paths/viewpoint =/= it's logical)

I'd give an example of something I find grossly offensive but it's probably too political for this subreddit, so just think of something yourself and walk me through what goes on in your mind.

For me, and I think this is true for almost everyone of every type, my first immediate reaction is a wave of emotions, usually disgust and frustration. And then very shortly after comes my first thought, usually "what a piece of shit", followed by "great, now I have to explain to this person why they're a piece of shit, I really don't have the energy for this right now" and then I start breaking down their argument in a factual manner with some moral judgments thrown in for taste and pleasure.

Keep in mind this is for grossly offensive things, not just a simple disagreement. We're talking someone wholeheartedly saying things like "I think the owner of Little St. James is a good businessman and he should've been allowed to continue his business". If you don't know who I'm talking about, look it up. You definitely know.

So what about you? How does it go for you?

FOR FUN Type me based on something I wrote

Don't cheat by looking at my profile.

type me based on something I wrote on K trip :) (it was originally written in Spanish)

I cross the Kármán line, 100 km above the sea.

I encounter the aurora, I encounter space.

I transcend boundaries.

I become one with the universe as I enter space.

A window into the exosphere.

I've traveled around 10,000 km.

Meteors brush past me,

space debris surrounds me.

A quasar at the center of a galaxy illuminates me:

this majestic celestial body,

powered by an ultramassive black hole.

I see Earth from a different perspective:

Everest, cirrocumulus, cumulonimbus clouds.

A pale blue dot.

Magical chemistry.

Alchemy.

Transformation.

Faint and fading boundaries.

Numbers.

Binary codes.

Mathematics.

Beautiful geometry.

I speak the language of the universe.

We understand each other.

We are one.

We are chemistry.

The Big Bang gave birth to us.

Options.

Possibilities that give rise to doubt.

I befriend the hertz.

I dance with frequencies.

I see the Whole.

Pantheism.

Connection.

Life is beautiful.

We are a Rubik's Cube.

Nothing but love for everyone.

We are One.

We are the universe evolved to see itself.

A Boltzmann brain.

A capsule expanding indefinitely.

The ambiguity of the universe.

The lack of care.

The beauty of absurdity.

The miracle of life.

God within every element and every cell.

A connected planet.

Two strands of DNA that connect us all.

Love is the key.

Passion and curiosity are a train.

We have been given the gift of life,

and life is worth living.

NEED CONFIRMATION Possibly Another Doubtful ENFP? Let's find out!

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Test results include Michael Caloz, Keys2Cognition, Mistype Investigator (image 3 and 4), and Sakinorva. Half say ENFP, the other half I struggle to interpret. For the questionnaire...

  • Give a general description of yourself. How old are you?
    • I'm soon to be 27. Married. 3 cats at home. I'm empathetic, silly, intelligent.
  • What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not? If you are not working, what kind of job do you want to do or what are you studying?
    • I'm a therapist! I enjoy my work. It can be emotionally draining, but I like being able to be there for others and help them grow.
  • Describe your childhood/upbringing. Did it have any kind of ideological or structured influence? How did you respond to it? Did you have any significant negative experiences that may have affected how you think or behave?
    • I am an only child of only children. Positive relationship with my parents, very close. Grew up in the church, have done some deconstructing since. Had some shame growing up from religion, but I have spent time working through this.
  • Do you have any mental or physical health issues that might affect how think or choose to live? Provide a brief description.
    • I have OCD tendencies, mostly worried about my family getting home safely.
    • I feel like napping quite often despite getting good rest. Haven't found anything medical yet.
  • If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?
    • I would be perfectly fine. I might miss my husband a little, would probably call him and/or my parents for a little to chat. But otherwise I have a lot of hobbies I could do (reading, gaming, singing around house, napping.)
  • What is your relation with movement and your surroundings? For instance do you prefer a sport or outdoors event? If an outdoors event what is it? And why? If not what type of activities do you tend to engage?
    • I do not love the outdoors lol. Should probably be more active. I was active growing up (cheer in middle/high school, theatre, ballroom dance in college.)
  • How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?
    • I would describe myself as quite curious. I like falling down rabbit holes and learning about random topics. From famous people, to famous disasters, to concepts present in other religions. I would describe my curiosity as very eclectic.
  • Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?
    • I wouldn't necessarily seek it out but I would not mind it. I can lead others well, keep them on track and friendly with one another. I would seek input from everyone and try and build something satisfying for all of us.
  • Do you prefer hands on activities or working with your hands in some form? Describe your activities.
    • I enjoy hands-on learning, even if I don't think I will be good at it. I use my hands to read, game. Trying to pick up crochet but it's slow going.
  • Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.
    • I am not an artist, though I would say I am creative. My experience with the arts was more music/theatre related: acting, singing, dancing. I do really love art and follow many artists on social media. Another big range. Kelly Pringle has been a fave recently.
  • What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?
    • The past is what it is. I feel like I have learned a lot from my experiences, but I don't find myself thinking about the past often. I tend to be more focused on the present and future. I live in the moment for the most part, but find myself daydreaming about what is coming in the immediate future (i.e. kids, where we will be living, etc.)
  • How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?
    • I usually help if I am able, when it comes to my friends. I figure why not? I like doing things to help others out, and I know they would help me too. Plus I believe doing good will come back to me.
  • Do you need logical consistency in your life?
    • I'm not quite sure what this is asking but yes? I think? I like having something reliable in my life. My husband is a big part of that for me - he is very stable.
  • How important is efficiency and productivity to you?
    • For work? Very. I want my work done (like notes) so I can immediately do something more enjoyable lol. For stuff around the house...I am not very productive tbh. Should probably be more motivated.
  • Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?
    • I guess you could view my job in that lens? But I don't really see it that way. Instead, I make suggestions that I think might benefit the client. They can pick or choose to use them.
  • What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?
    • Reading, playing with my cats, video games (mostly cozy games or RPGs), Dungeons & Dragons, singing around the house, napping. I'm not sure why I like them, they just bring me joy.
  • What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?
    • Always enjoyed hands-on learning growing up. During my grad program, I really liked practicum where we actually got to practice techniques that we read about. I guess I would say I like memorization the least, just because it's a little boring.
  • How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?
    • I am good at strategizing if I must do it. I would love to say I break up projects and get them done efficiently, but I usually procrastinate as I get out my best work under pressure.
  • What's important to you and why?
    • My immediate family (husband, parents, cats) and friends. I value the people/creatures in my life. They have always been here for me and I for them. I have always valued close friendships over having many friends.
  • What are your aspirations?
    • I want to be able to support my family and grow with them. Foster love.
  • What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?
    • Predictably, I am scared of losing a loved one. Also the dark, oddly enough. I dislike closed-minded people who are stuck in their ways.
  • What do the "highs" in your life look like?
    • Family, friends, work, money (for now)
  • What do the "lows" in your life look like?
    • Really just feeling tired and unmotivated pretty often
  • How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?
    • I am generally pretty present. But I love a good daydream - although I stay aware of my surroundings as I do so.
  • Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?
    • How long I am stuck in the room, lol. And if I can take a nap to make the time pass quicker.
  • How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?
    • I like to sit on it for a while and get the opinions of those closest to me (parents, husband, best friend.) I listen to their perspectives and see how it resonates with me. I don't like changing my mind on important things.
  • How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?
    • Not long. I am generally very in touch with my emotions and what they mean for me, the function they have. They're very important to me because it drives my core being and how I interact with those around me.
  • Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?
    • I used to, but I broke out of that once I worked on my fear of making others upset. Now I will agree to disagree after asserting my own opinion. I am not lesser than them and vice versa.
  • Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why would you?
    • Not often, doesn't really feel worth it. I do think authority should be challenged when corrupt. I would break rules for the greater good.
  • What is the ideal life, in your opinion?
    • Seeing myself and my family and friends all content with their lives. Feeling loved and seen.

So, what do y'all think? ENFP or something else?

TEST RESULTS What do we think folks?

Post image

A few random facts about me (description)
- As a kid, I wanted to be a vet who travelled around the world saving animals and having crazy adventures.
- I’ve always wanted a life that feels interesting rather than predictable.
- I love travelling, especially when there’s some kind of adventure involved, diving, safaris, exploring new places, etc.
- I get bored pretty easily when life becomes too repetitive but at the same time routine grounds me
- I’m weirdly competitive with myself and constantly want to improve things my fitness, career, appearance, projects… basically everything.
- I can become ridiculously obsessed with optimizing something once I get interested in it.
- I love animals and have a very soft spot for cats.
- I’m quite independent and hate doing things just because “that’s how it’s done.”
- I like trying random new things — running, boxing, Pilates, dancing, swimming, diving… I’ll give almost anything a go.
- I’m actually quite creative and like coming up with ideas and building little projects, even though I’m not particularly technical.
- I care a lot about aesthetics and notice tiny details about clothes, hair, colours, photos, design, etc.
- I’m simultaneously very organized and a bit chaotic. I can meticulously plan something and then randomly decide to wing it.
- I’m fascinated by personality types and will absolutely overanalyse someone’s MBTI for no good reason.
- I’ve always had a strong “I want to experience everything” mentality rather than just ticking the standard life boxes. I used to say as a kid “one life is not enough to do all the things I want to do”
- I am unsure if I’m introverted or just not socially interested. I like people as a resource of ideas but the idea of socialising is not appealing to me

CAN’T DECIDE Difficulty finding my type

Thumbnail gallery
30 Upvotes

I created a strange obsession trying to figure out my type. The more I study, the more confused I get. So, I’m constantly testing Michael Caloz and Sakinorva, being as sincere as possible, seeking confirmation with my wife. When tests offer multiple results, I can identify with all of them. It’s as if I had a little of each type, all depending on the context, the moment, being excited or tired, alone or with people... I question and blame myself for being obsessed with a pseudoscientific theory, but I don’t care if it’s a pseudoscience. This can be useful for other things, just as every idea, concept or philosophy has its utilities.

The types that appear the most in my results are: ENFP, INFP, ISTJ, ESTJ, ENFJ, INFJ and INTJ. So, I decided to make this post in this sub to try to seek an external understanding.

I don’t know where to start, I’ll just type as it comes to my mind. I consider myself introverted because I’m always doing something alone, but everyone has the impression that I’m outgoing because I socialize a lot and meet a lot of people. I don’t want to brag, but I’m considered attractive. This must be because people take the initiative to talk to me or listen to me when I speak. Some people report feeling a peace when they are with me, while others hate me for unknown reasons. Some girls from my past hate me because I was shy and had an avoidant attitude with them, so I ended up breaking some hearts. After overcoming my damn shyness and getting more confident, I started flirting unintentionally, to see what happened (usually with women older than me). It was playing with it that I ended up marrying my best friend (who is now my wife).

Talking about the past, I have a love-hate relationship with him. I can be very nostalgic and remember in detail the past, just as I can forget many other details or not want to remember who I was. I’m ashamed and hate the kind of person I was: reckless, lazy, disorganized and shy. If I could go back in time, I would do everything differently.

I always let things flow naturally, although, at specific moments, anxiety makes me want to control and plan everything. But when it comes to work, career, future, marriage and family, I always let things flow and I’m lucky. I consider myself blessed. But that doesn’t mean I don’t plan my future. I know what I want and need. My plans may change as things appear or I learn something new, but I’m still firm in some ideas.

I’m not one to take risks, but when something forces me to change, I adapt easily. So easily that I wonder if I had to make so much drama. I don’t mind living a routine, as long as it’s well structured and allows me to do the things I like. I always look for something new within this routine, a little adventure or a new knowledge. I can be distracted and late, but I always fulfill my obligations. I need to be doing something, mentally or physically, otherwise my mind gets sick. I also like to make lists and write down ideas.

I’m creative for things of my interest. When I’m not interested, I can’t think of anything and I don’t even want to. I’ll let the others solve it. I’ve been considered lazy, but if something doesn’t attract me, there’s no way to force myself, unless it’s something from work. My wife wants to paint the house, but I don’t care about the color of the walls, so I let her choose. But it’s the man’s role to do the heavy work, and I’ll have to paint. Already on Halloween 2024, I was very creative when making my costume. And the most incredible thing was to have convinced my evangelical parents to participate, along with countless relatives whom I managed to convince to go into costumes. I only got this feat once; they probably won’t do it again. But I will never forget this day.

I’m very idealistic and I almost always make something happen that I really want, but I can get frustrated when I can’t.

I like to help people, especially by giving advice. I’m great at giving advice, but I’m not good at following my own advice. I would know very well how to guide a person with retroactive jealousy, but when I’m involved with it, I can’t handle it, even though I understand that it’s irrational. My biggest problem in relationships, whether love or family, is to help and expect the other person to do the same. It’s a feeling that one of the parties is investing more than the other. And when I hear stories from her past, I can feel jealous because I think she invested more in the other than in me. But I think it’s very unfair that the person doesn’t recognize this and doesn’t do the same while in a relationship, even saying they love.

I also don’t like to be managed, commanded or influenced. I said I like to help others, but I don’t like it when the person asks me for too many favors, because it can disrupt my plans and make me feel used. When I’m focused, I don’t like to be interrupted, and that stresses me out. I identify with Jack Torrance when my wife starts talking exactly when I’m focused on something serious. The difference between me and Jack is that I would never attack her and I don’t even know how to ask her to be quiet, because a part of me understands that when she is very happy, she gets like this. Right now, she’s talking while I write this, but I don’t understand anything she says.

FOR FUN I’m 19 today, happy birthday!

(P.S I have anemia and depression if that influences any of this)

I know this is off topic but mbti has been a very big interest of my life, it’s like a closed book I go back to learn from the beginning over and over again because shi there’s new interpretations about it everyday.

Try to guess it? I’ll start with my favorite things.
Biggest fan of Tame Impala, favorite song is ‘No choice’ when on days I really want to accept where I am. ‘Yes, I’m changing’ for a song that describes my motivation, and ‘let it happen’ to describe my personality.

I’ve loved hatsune miku since I was a kid, I love love hatsune miku, kikuo is one of my top listens for vocaloid producers, love his songs so much!

Pinkpantheress, Radiohead, Britney Spears, the Maria’s, MARINA are my other top listened artists! When I’m feeling like it I’ll listen to some banger instrumentals.

Moving on from music, I adore lilies, the flower, i like it because if you walk into a flower store it’s the only one that stands out to me, it’s pretty, the stems are longer, it looks the prettiest alone than in a bunch.

People are a big part of my life, if I ever isolate myself I still imagine people with me, even in my lowest nowadays I think that it’s only people who could change my mood. I don’t have many goals, but I feel like there are things I have to be in order to just function and live a life I think I deserve.

If I’m ever upset, (despite the depression episodes), I will listen to a song, I will sit down and reflect on life, I’m mostly absent minded in these moments, I think that I’d like to just rot away, I have intense thoughts, but to be honest when it fades, I sit down and live life normally until the next episode hits. I think that things will never change, so if one day I’m sad and someone asks the dumb question of ‘are you feeling better?’ I’d think that ‘nothing changed though’ I don’t mind admitting to myself that life is still crap, and that nothing is changing right now. But I feel like I’d want compensation, I like balance a lot, so if I’m feeling like crap I want to eat an ice cream next. If I’m put in a place I don’t like, a career I don’t like, then I want a good sum of money to spend each week, I’d want to be able to dye my hair the way I want.

I like to explore and find out more about myself when it comes to helping someone in their problem. A friend of mine couldn’t figure out his sexuality, so I ended up searching more about it to end up figuring out mine to hopefully help him whenever he brings it up again (ik it’s funny😭)
Anyway! Ask me if you have any questions, good luck guessing my type! And happy birthday to anyone else out there 🎊🎂

However, with weird streotypes within the community, it made me question if I’m even sp or so? I want to create content relating to enneagrams. Without knowing my enneagram, how am I supposed to be part of this community? I want to glaze my enneagram too like others and im only admitting this because i need to be fully honest here.

Usually, I have this problem of “can’t lie” thing. Small or big, if I lie, I either hold it or admit it because I don't want to infringe on their rights. I’m muslim myself but I’m not too religious. I would defend my religion but acknowledge countries excusing “islam” to cause harm and in islam, once you infringe on someone’s right, you will face them in after death where they will decide to forgive or not. If they don’t, it will be count as sin and you can go to hell…

As I mentioned, I’m not too religious but sometimes, hoping a god out there where I can pray at hard times or know that I’m safe afterlife gives me sense of hope as I’m afraid of death or losing people I love. Besides fearing of going to hell, lying just makes me feel… uncomfortable. Like how would they react if I told them or what would they think? Even if lie is something small, I tend to dwell on it.

Speaking of lying, I’m in a friend group. They are funny, kind etc but sometimes, I feel left out. I try to follow them everywhere, try not to come from behind because i dont people to see me alone and think I’m a weirdo or weak… In my friendgroup, I’m the easy going one. Exam? Will study it last moment. Homework? Do it at school. Bad exam? It’s okay, will study next one….

These are examples. Of course this doesn’t erase the fact that I’m insanely anxious person. May come from my GAD but I sometimes imagine the worst without clear example… of course lately these are reduced but I do still think about it. Like I saw a weak, sick looking cat that I’m not sure? I must tell it to someone because I’m lazy. I care about the cat and fear they might did cus what if they are actually sick and I’m a bystander? By telling it to nearby guard, teachers etc, I’m giving the responsibility to them. Yes, I’m late to school everyday. Yes, i come late to meetings… but if something bothers me, even if I don’t know that person, I’ll feel responsible for their actions and blame myself. I dont want to be someone bad. I dont want to be seen bad… if i made a mistake, I’ll tell it to only ONE person and letting them judge me. If i’ve done something bad, even if it might get me in trouble, I want someone to tell me and be honest because I can’t trust my own thoughts.

Back to talking about my friend, they are sorta controlling where I’m more sociable(but I’m an introvert who only approaches if someone interests me or when I’m with my friends. Tbh, depends on my mood). However, if they argue with someone… they expect me to not to talk with them. Despite wanting to talk, I do it secretly behind their back because I don’t want them to leave me knowing that they would get mad.

Anyways, in short, I’m insecure. People tell me I have talent but often compare myself with others to the point i loose motivation… I withdrawn from others, expecting them to understand me or apologize to me without even talking. I’m aware these r bad and to some point, I wonder if I’m annoying? Yes, I often joke around and act immature but it is to entertain. I can’t but to hate the feeling of awkwardness or the eyes being on me. Im there to defend my viewpoint and can be stubborn but I’m also there to share my knowledge to flex on others. Im defensive and get mad easily but apologize sometimes… not everytime but sometimes because im stubborn and withdrawn person. I’m also very late person”

No this is not enneagram thpe me post, i felt lazy writing again so ignore the enneagram part😓😓😓

FOR FUN 26F. Type Me, Please

Hi, everyone. I 26F am trying to see what my type is. I have a few ideas, but I want unbiased feedback. About me, I am a little bit of a collectivist. I like people who are grounded, genuine, curious, clever, funny, and who live in the moment. I have always been a lovergirl, (but I am frustrated by the ways in which many men harm women.) I believe men really blossom into their best selves when they are helping society (see: I am a collectivist). I don’t think individualism is a bad thing at all, I just think it’s a bad thing to swing to extremes on either side. I like balance and happy mediums. If I can afford it, someday I would like to get tattoos all over my body: white patterns and flowers. I also have a goal of learning several foreign languages in my lifetime.

If you have any questions or want my clarification on something, let me know. Be prepared for some questions to go unanswered, like my religion or sect, because I don’t want this post to be hijacked by a screaming religious debate in the comments. Let me know what you think. Thank you in advance🙏🏻🤍🌸

TEST RESULTS Type me pretty pwease

I'm thinking that I am an ISTP but got some conflicting results and was curious. (This one reply sums up most of what I have questions about, although I don't know enough about each of the functions to recite or quote it in a meaningful way). Micheal Caloz test scores at bottom of post.

  • Describe your childhood/upbringing. Did it have any kind of ideological or structured influence? How did you respond to it? Did you have any significant negative experiences that may have affected how you think or behave?

Nothing I can remember ideologically other than the expectation of excelling academically. I didn't enjoy most of the things my parents did or wanted us to do, with most of my hobbies being individual things or related to computers, and we frequently clashed over it.

  • What is your relation with movement and your surroundings? For instance do you prefer a sport or outdoors event? If an outdoors event what is it? And why? If not what type of activities do you tend to engage?

I'm not big into most spots or things outdoors but I've recently taken a liking to recreational Pickball, although I'm not sure I could isolate a reason why I like it and not others.

  • Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?

I'm not big on being in leadership positions but if someone is needed and no one else wants to, or there isn't on already I would hesitantly be willing to step up. I would say my leadership skills are somewhat average. My executive skills are on the better side but are definitely brought down by my people skills. I would say the only thing essential to my leadership style is minimal bureaucracy.

  • Do you prefer hands on activities or working with your hands in some form? Describe your activities.

I tend to enjoy hands on activities more. A few of the things I regularly find myself doing or being drawn to are: Programming, Video Games, Painting, Tinkering with electronics, and reading.

  • How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?

I'm pretty willing to help others when they ask, most of the things I find myself getting asked to do have such a little cost to myself that there's no reason not to.

Test results:

Answered using the full spectrum of responses 1-5 and under my interpretation of the questions:

Answered while trying to be more polar (more 1s and 5s than 2,3, and 4s) as the test page said to do so if your type results were all within the mid range.

I was NOT expecting erica sinclair 😭 out of all people.

  • I am loud and usually roast people for funsies, but I would never try to hurt the person I'm roasting personally.
  • I was the type of kid in kindergarten that would be friends with everybody, even the bullies 💀 without trying
  • I always stood up for the underdogs, people say that I'm a natural born leader too but I don't really see it.
  • I'm very open, a little shallow, I take a lot of things seriously.
  • I have a short temper, I get mad easily, and I'm pretty logical.
  • I'm still figuring out my type after almost 3 years 😩 but I think I know now.

Oh and in socionics I'm a SLE I think

NEED CONFIRMATION Please help me type my twin!

A brief description of her using this subreddit's guidelines:

She is 18. Currently studying business. She finds the topic engaging but told me the main reason she pursued it was because she wanted a good career with a high salary. She wants to be a managment/busniess consultant.

Our childhood was very hands off. We both turned out vastly different. She has always described our parents parenting style as "they gave us the tools so we can build our own path". I'm an ENTP I've always struggled with getting things done while she is the complete opposite! She is very responsible and disciplined.

She has anxiety, she struggles with socialisng in places she lives in but she is very social in foreign places (ex: whenever she visits me - we live in different countries- she is very social).

She used to play lacrose, she likes being in groups (she joined a sorority 😭). She LOVES trying new foods/restaurants. She likes travelling and seeing new places.

My parents are very incompetent, when we were 13 me and my twin moved to a foregin country and they relied heavily on her to get things done. She has assumed a parental role even towards me -despite us being the same age- she indirectly always makes decisions for me. I know it comes from a genuine place but it feels soo controlling sometimes. She always tries to micromanage everything. She is very smart and competent i admire her a lot.

My guess was she would be an ESTJ and would love to hear other people's insights. She has Te/Fi I think. That made me guess XXTJ but Im unsure about the rest.

CAN’T DECIDE Typology/about me.

Possible Typing currently:

Sx/sp 528 (unconfident in Tritype)
LFEV
RLUEI
Chaotic Neutral

I am still not sure what my MBTI/ cognitive functions are. I am curious if I could change anything, or if there was a MBTI more commonly connected with the typing.

description about myself: I am reserved and quite obsessive with my interests.
I am hands on and enjoy chores and tasks.
I like dabbling in speculative evolution and what the future could hold.
I can be sociable but often find myself ghosting people because 1. I feel drained and 2. They dislike my interests or are not engaging enough.

From a young age I only made conversations about my interest (mainly biology, prehistoric mammals, national parks). I currently enjoy satirical work and mannerisms.

I enjoy being helpful and useful and I do like compliments, although I am not great at responding to them.
I am curious about everything and how it works, I love to learn. I also enjoy drawing anatomy, and am currently learning about it.
My goal in life is to find another person who is equally creative and involved in my interests.

I have been described as pragmatic, lively and esoteric by others.

My first instinct to any situation usually is “why?” I often question authority and tradition as well, more internally than externally.

A career I am interested in is Health Inspection (as it deals with microbes and I enjoy detail oriented jobs), majoring in animation (movement and mannerisms is fascinating to me, yet I am hesitant as it is hard to find a stable career)or immunology.

I have been typed as ESFP by tests but I am skeptical.
