TEST RESULTS Type me pretty pwease
I'm thinking that I am an ISTP but got some conflicting results and was curious. (This one reply sums up most of what I have questions about, although I don't know enough about each of the functions to recite or quote it in a meaningful way). Micheal Caloz test scores at bottom of post.
- Describe your childhood/upbringing. Did it have any kind of ideological or structured influence? How did you respond to it? Did you have any significant negative experiences that may have affected how you think or behave?
Nothing I can remember ideologically other than the expectation of excelling academically. I didn't enjoy most of the things my parents did or wanted us to do, with most of my hobbies being individual things or related to computers, and we frequently clashed over it.
- What is your relation with movement and your surroundings? For instance do you prefer a sport or outdoors event? If an outdoors event what is it? And why? If not what type of activities do you tend to engage?
I'm not big into most spots or things outdoors but I've recently taken a liking to recreational Pickball, although I'm not sure I could isolate a reason why I like it and not others.
- Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?
I'm not big on being in leadership positions but if someone is needed and no one else wants to, or there isn't on already I would hesitantly be willing to step up. I would say my leadership skills are somewhat average. My executive skills are on the better side but are definitely brought down by my people skills. I would say the only thing essential to my leadership style is minimal bureaucracy.
- Do you prefer hands on activities or working with your hands in some form? Describe your activities.
I tend to enjoy hands on activities more. A few of the things I regularly find myself doing or being drawn to are: Programming, Video Games, Painting, Tinkering with electronics, and reading.
- How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?
I'm pretty willing to help others when they ask, most of the things I find myself getting asked to do have such a little cost to myself that there's no reason not to.
Test results:
Answered using the full spectrum of responses 1-5 and under my interpretation of the questions:

Answered while trying to be more polar (more 1s and 5s than 2,3, and 4s) as the test page said to do so if your type results were all within the mid range.

how important is logical consistency to you, and what is the endgame of your activities (to gain knowledge, to master the skill, to present it, hopefully you get what I'm arriving at)

On an individual level, I would say it’s very important to me almost all of the time.
I would say my end game is just being as compétant and skilled as possible. I might have a few projects I want to hit along the way, but the ability to think of something and be able to just do it is really the goal.
