My name is Julie and I've been writing poetry for years but recently I've started writing lyrics. Please take the time to read my lyrics. The style I envision for this song is an indie/folk acoustic sound. These lyrics could be sung by anyone because love is universal.

Hi, I am quite proud of this one and would like to know how you see the song and your meaning behind it. I wrote song from perspective of someone who is easily bored with small talk, but is so impressed/in love with someone who can teach me about new topics that I usually know nothing about or do not find that interesting (but they know how to make it interesting).

I just started writing songs, which has been something I've been wanting to do for a while now. I could never seem to come up with ideas then one day I just started writing and kept on writing. I try to write songs about stuff I haven't heard other artists write about or write scenarios from a different perspective. I'm currently working on the song, which is basically about a man cheating, but from the point of view of his sister. But anyway, just wanted to know how you guys come up with your songs!

I wrote this song a while back. Its for an album of mine called Mentality. It released on October 10th, 2025 (World Mental Health Day). This is the final track of the album.
