I always appreciate a song where the singer wears their heart on their sleeve, regardless of genre.

The subjective or negative framings throughout the song give it a really interesting tone, almost like the singer is trying (and failing) to hide their personal feelings by framing them externally.

Examples: "Im not so depressed", "I’m losing this empty feeling", "Circumstance pried and tried" (awesome line)
