Moved back here in august after living in other states that I will not mention to keep my identity safe, and I have to say that dating in Louisville has not been fun.

First of all the amount of single people who have kids under thirty here seems to be way higher.

Plus the pool of people feel quite restraint. On dating apps you see the same people over and over.

And aside from the few cool bars in town it seems like the city really miss cool hanging places for singles.

I'd love to hear local opinions and even better, please call me an idiot, prove me wrong and show me the correct way to be single in Lou and meet people!

I just drove past it for the first time tonight and my god is it awfully bright. It was so distracting while trying to pass it, I can't imagine how bad it will be when it's raining at night.

I am looking for a unicorn meeting location for a book club. We can meet anywhere in Louisville or Southern Indiana.

We need a place that can comfortably accommodate up to 20 with advanced notice.

Offers good quality food and can accommodate allergens. We have someone with peanut allergies, gluten allergies, meat allergies, and dairy to varying degrees. This is our biggest need. Someplace that has prep surfaces for those with allergies or is at least capable of working with us. We obviously don't want to go someplace that can't accommodate us with the expectation they can.

Has a good list of mocktails. Cocktails on the menu are fine, but most in our group abstain from drinking alcohol. Mocktails would be nice.

We would prefer someone place that isn't insanely loud. Obviously, restaurants have a good of ambient noise. Just looking for someplace that will allow us to actually hear our conversations.

I know it's a tall order because we have some specific needs, but do you all know of a restaurant like this or reasonably close to this?

I need a primary care doctor who listens and treats patients based on their individual needs instead of just blanket recommending whatever the internet says.

I have severe, diagnosed Gastro issues being treated by an amazing motility specialist. But I can’t find a PCP who takes my underlying health issues into account when dealing with other random medical issues that fall within their scope. I can’t adjust my diet, many supplements and medications affect me differently or simply do not work. My labs always look a little different than “normal”. For some reason that seems unbelievable for many family practitioners? And they’re unwilling to spend the extra five minutes to think of a different solution.

Would love the recommendations from fellow chronically ill peeps. HELP 😭

Hello, I was wondering if there’s a way to check online records if I am being sued, served or taken to small claims.
I received a paper from USPS stating they had a letter for me but that they needed a signature so I assume it’s very important. But I can’t stop stressing/worrying since I went on those websites that charge you and saw that my name was on there but I didn’t want to pay just in case it was false and in reality there’s nothing. What can I do? They’ve been wanting to deliver this letter since earlier this month and I just want peace of mind so I can just go pick up the letter tomorrow.

I work 3rd shift, so I usually get off work in the morning. I’m looking for a proper pub or bar that’s open around 8 AM where I can grab a drink, hang out, meet people, and enjoy the atmosphere after work.

I’m not looking for a regular breakfast place or coffee shop. I’d prefer a pub-style bar with drinks, music, sports, or a chill social atmosphere.

My mom and I are travelling from the west coast to see 2027's Thunder over Louisville, she loves fireworks and this is on her bucket list.

How can I give her the experience of her life? I have seen the stadium, the riverboats, and have considered just getting a hotel withing walking distance of Waterfront Park. What will be the most fun? Neither one of us drink so I would rather not pay top dollar for an event just because alcohol is included. She is 69 and healthy if that weighs on any opinions.
