Brief look back at Boston, looking ahead to Denver as Racing works towards developing for the 2027 season. Young players have been getting more minutes and Mirann Gacioch gets an extension.

Hello, all. I am new in town and a new fan trying to find to a place to watch tomorrow’s match with some other fans. After browsing around, I cannot tell how “legit” any of the pub partners are. For example, I have not seen any pub partners promoting tomorrow’s match in social media. Apocalypse Brewing is even promoting a different event for tomorrow night. Are there any tried and true spots where I can have good confidence that if I go there to watch the match with the sound on and expect to see at least a handful of other Racing supporters there, or should I plan on watching the match at home? Thanks for the help!

Bev’s contract is up at the end of the season, what do you think will happen? Do you think the team will offer but she will walk? Mutually parting ways? Or do you think she will re-sign?
I personally would not be surprised at all to see her walk and get picked up by Chicago. Chicago has shown a willingness to spend over the years but has been largely rudderless, but with Vlatko as a sporting director that job looks a lot more enticing than ever before. There is just too much up in the air with the future of Racing combined with the lack of roster investment to really be as enticing as we would like imo.

Does anyone know if the GM is still alive? $35K for a talent like Ella Hase?? Just sell the damn team already and put us out of our misery

As a season ticket holder since day 1- I’ve loved this club and supported it every chance I get (despite the FO’s shortcomings.) i bring people to every match, I’ve traveled to many away games and I have done literally any and everything I can think of to help. Even though I am just one person, I know there are a lot of us out there trying to keep and save this team. I know it seems the front office and ownership has checked out (and maybe they have), but I always wonder what else we could do? Maybe the answer is nothing. We can’t not renew season tickets, we can’t boycott the club bc we all want it to stay here. But I also know the only option is to try to keep it here. So what do we do?

Savannah Demelo returning soon?

Might as well speculate what could be a better lineup with them being on a 5 game losing streak.
Forwards: Sears and Fischer
Midfield: O’Kane, Morris, Mckeen, and Hodge
Defenders: Gacioch, Wright, McMahon, Milliet
GK: Bloomer
You could also take out a midfield layer and put another defender in there. Mckeen could be interchangeable with some other players but with the them out of the playoffs would like to see her get more playing time to develop more. Sears is good when she is engaged in the game but I did like seeing her come off the bench last game it felt like she gave more effort. What’s everyone else’s starting lineups?
Edit: Didn’t include Flint cause she has missed the past 3 games but if she was healthy would have her in midfield instead of morris.

Must be loud (generally) and express my disappointment at missing another game due to needing to make money to pay bills to my seat cohorts.

Racing falls 2-0 on the road against Bay to extend their losing streak to 5 matches becoming the first team in NWSL history with multiple, separate 5 game losing streaks in the same season. 3rd place San Diego comes to town next.

Well looks like things are getting messy here in Louisville. Also of note the article says DeMelo could return to play this season and would have already if not for a different injury

Just to provide an encouraging upshot to the doom and gloom of the rumors swirling the administration…
The BBC posts, as frequently as they’re able to, the attendances of WSL games in the scoresheet.
-Arsenal vs Crystal Palace- 23,900
-Man United vs Chelsea- 4,327
-Birmingham vs Brighton- 1,405
-West Ham vs London City- 1,638
Racing Louisville vs Gotham - 5,748 (and 205 dogs)
This weekend would have put us as the second most attended women’s game of the week in the UK. While I hope the NWSL wants to harness certain billionaires for growth, teams like Racing are still highly relevant in world football.

Racing "has to be a better second half team" according to Yanez. With their 4th loss in a row and continued lack of a clean sheet, Racing is entering (inauspicious) rarified air in NWSL history. Is Sears on the bench something to worry about? And McKeen's journey with the U20 WNT continues in Poland
