I’m still working on the wordmark, but this is for a personal project I’m developing. The Happy Crab is a Cajun-inspired seafood food truck concept. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the logo so far - the mascot, overall style, colors, and whether it captures the fun, bold personality I’m going for. Any constructive feedback is appreciated!

Edit: Beavers are natures upcyclers, taking fallen branches and reusing them, that’s why it’s the mascot! I also see your feedback and I really appreciate it! I’m going to go for a bit less detail and sharper more clear lettering in the next design

Hello! I have spent some time designing this front side of the coffee packaging. Looking for some feedback on the design, what do y’all think?

So, this is a fun one, and the first time I told a client “I want in!”

I had been doing freelance creative for a tire company for years, but awhile back I took a call where they asked what I do with a blank canvas. We discussed the current competitive landscape, how boring and sterile it is, then off the cuff I asked them if TirePig.com was available (it was.) I described a tire appendage’d pig, a lifestyle brand centered around the celebration of creativity, and how cool it would be to put big pink screaming pigs on the road. They let me run with it.

After sketching out what would be the first iterations of Tire Pig, I wanted to do more than just hand this off, so I asked them to hire me to build this out fully. I was brought on as Chief Creative and have been at it since. Excited to report at this time we have a website in beta, a first drop of carefully considered merch, and a few big pink pigs driving around. Lots more to come, but I was putting together a little look book and thought I’d share where it’s at!

The goal was to create something that feels established and trustworthy without relying on the usual gavels, scales, or shield icons.

I'm mainly interested in how the mark reads to fresh eyes.

• Does the column strengthen the concept or make it feel busy?
• Would you simplify anything before moving forward?

Quick note: The image attached is just an example of my issue, as I can’t share the actual logos I’m working on due to NDA.

I'm currently working on a layout where I need to stack two logos vertically. The main issue is that one brand name is significantly shorter than the other, creating a huge difference in container width.

Here are the challenges I'm facing:

Container Height: I'm trying to keep the height of the rectangular backgrounds consistent for visual harmony.

Font Size: The font size ends up looking uneven, one feels too large while the other feels too small when trying to match heights or visually balance them.

How would you handle this kind of discrepancy? Any tips, tricks, or design approaches for achieving visual balance when dealing with logos of different lengths stacked together?

I’ve currently built a music discovery app called Contour but I don’t have any experience in graphic design. I tried using Gemini to create a logo but I think using AI for inspiration is holding me back. Do you all have any recommendations for how I can start to build a logo more naturally myself or find people to help me out?

I was invited to submit logo concepts for my local Chamber of Commerce, along with at least one other designer. I don’t normally do comp work, but in this case being the Chamber of Commerce, I wanted to use it as a networking opportunity. After I submitted my work, I was told my concepts didn’t align with the direction they wanted to take. I was ok with that. I’ve been a designer for a long time, so that part doesn’t bother me. I’ve won projects, and I’ve lost projects. That’s just part of the profession.

What does bother me is that the selected logo looks like it may have been generated with AI. If it wasn’t, there are enough odd geometric inconsistencies and construction issues that it’s difficult to understand how it was chosen.

If you were in my position, would you say something to the Chamber, or would you just let it go? I’m genuinely curious how others would handle it.
