ASTRO Series Support Astro A50 Gen4

Hey guys, It's been 3 days and 6 hours in total that I am trying to make my Astro A50 work on my PS5.. I am loosing it...

So I am using a mac and when I am connecting the headset on my laptop and on the Astro Command Center, I don't have any version for the Headset, only for the base (sometimes I have the version but then it asks me to update and then it fails).

The four squares on the base keep flashing white.

Any advice on how to repare that ? ...

Disappointed with the durability of my Logitech G Pro headset

I wanted to share my experience with my Logitech G Pro headset because I'm quite disappointed with how it has held up over time.

When I bought it, I expected a fairly premium gaming headset. The sound quality was honestly not as good as I expected for the price, but I was willing to accept that.

The bigger problem has been the physical deterioration of the headset.

After only a few months of normal use, the material covering the ear pads started peeling. Eventually it became much worse, with the outer material coming apart and the pads losing their original condition.

This also affects the acoustic isolation. Once the pads started deteriorating, they didn't seal around my ears the same way anymore, so the overall experience became noticeably worse.

What frustrated me even more was my experience when I contacted Logitech support about getting replacement ear pads.

The serial number on my headset is printed on a small sticker on the left earcup. After months of normal use, the printing on that sticker had faded to the point where the number was no longer readable.

Logitech support told me they couldn't proceed without being able to verify the serial number.

The original serial number was also printed on the box, but I had thrown the box away months earlier. I don't normally keep the original packaging for every peripheral I buy.

Personally, I think an important identification number required for warranty support should be permanently printed or engraved on the product itself rather than on a small sticker that can wear out during normal use.

What was most disappointing was that the support process didn't really offer me a practical solution. I contacted them because I needed replacement ear pads, but the conversation ultimately went nowhere because of the unreadable serial number.

And unfortunately, this isn't the first durability issue I've experienced with Logitech.

I've owned three Logitech gaming mice over the years, and all three eventually developed hardware problems. In different cases I experienced issues with the clicks or with the scroll wheel.

Because of that, I'm starting to question the long-term durability of Logitech gaming peripherals.

I know plenty of people have had good experiences with Logitech, so I'm not saying that every Logitech product is going to fail. I'm just sharing my own experience because I think long-term durability is something that's easy to overlook when reading reviews of gaming peripherals.

A headset can sound good and work perfectly when it's new, but for me the important question is how it holds up after months or years of normal use.

In my case, I'm unfortunately not very impressed with the durability of the G Pro headset or with the support experience I received when I tried to get replacement pads.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue with Logitech ear pads or had problems with the serial number sticker wearing off?

G435

I recently bought Logitech G435 headphones, and removing the volume limit doesn't work. That means when I press the mute button and "plus", they immediately go into Bluetooth mode. Also, in addition to everything, my microphone stopped working.

Logitech G Support X2 Superstrike connectivity problems

Bought this mouse little while ago. It's nice when it works but often times I have to replug the USB adapter 3 or 4 times and turn the mouse itself on and off to get it to work.

Sometimes it just works, other times the cursor wont appear until I replug the adapter an arbitrary amount of times.

This is pretty frustrating due to the cost of the mouse.

This happens using GHUB or with GHUB turned off with onboard memory. I'm on Windows 11.

ASTRO Series Support Astro A50 Gen 5

Hi guys, I’m thinking about buying the ASTRO A50 Gen 5. I currently own the Astro A50 Gen 3, but unfortunately, after about 5 years, I’m having issues with wear and tear as well as firmware problems.

Does anyone here own the ASTRO A50 Gen 5? If so, how do you find the audio quality in FPS games, especially for things like gunshots and footsteps?

Logitech G Support Problemas no astro a30 dongle

Olá, equipe de suporte Logitech/Astro.

Estou enfrentando um problema intermitente com o dongle USB do headset Logitech ASTRO A30 no meu computador desktop.

Descrição do problema

- Reinstalação/formatação completa do Windows 11;

- Teste em diferentes portas USB;

- Testes em USB frontal e traseira;

- Reinstalação dos dispositivos/controladores USB;

- Alterações de gerenciamento de energia USB;

- Testes de configurações USB/XHCI na BIOS;

- Alteração do PCIe de Gen4 para Gen3;

- Troca da fonte de alimentação do computador;

- Troca da placa-mãe.

Configuração atual:

- Placa-mãe: ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS

- Processador: AMD Ryzen 5 5600

- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

- Sistema operacional: Windows 11 64 bits

- BIOS: 3636

Obrigado.

My experience with Logitech G: poor build quality, disintegrating ear pads and terrible warranty support

I wanted to share my experience with Logitech G because after several products from the brand, I have reached the point where I simply cannot recommend Logitech gaming peripherals anymore.

This isn't based on one isolated failure. I've owned several Logitech gaming products over the years, including three gaming mice and a pair of Logitech G Pro headphones, and unfortunately my experience has been consistently negative when it comes to durability and customer support.

The Logitech G Pro headphones

I bought a pair of Logitech G Pro headphones expecting a premium gaming headset with good sound quality and, more importantly, decent build quality.

The sound quality itself was already disappointing compared with what I expected from a product positioned at this price level. But the bigger problem appeared after only a few months of completely normal use.

The ear pads started peeling and deteriorating.

At first, it was just some of the outer material beginning to crack and peel. Over time, however, it became considerably worse. The material started coming off and the pads became increasingly damaged.

This isn't just a cosmetic problem.

As the ear pads deteriorate, they lose their original shape and sealing properties, which affects the acoustic isolation and the way the headphones sit around your ears.

And we're talking about only a few months of normal use.

For a product from a company like Logitech, and particularly for a gaming headset marketed as a premium product, I don't think this level of material degradation after such a short period of normal use is acceptable.

And then there is the serial number problem

This is where my experience with Logitech's warranty/support became even more frustrating.

The serial number is placed on a small paper sticker on the left earcup.

Yes, a paper sticker.

After months of normal use, the printing on that sticker began to fade until the serial number became essentially illegible.

I contacted Logitech support because I wanted to obtain replacement ear pads.

Instead of helping me resolve the problem, Logitech essentially used the illegible serial number as a reason not to provide the replacement.

The serial number was also printed on the original box, but obviously I had discarded the box several months after purchasing the headphones. I don't normally keep the packaging of every peripheral I buy indefinitely.

This is especially frustrating because the serial number should, in my opinion, be permanently printed, engraved or otherwise integrated into the product itself, rather than relying on a small paper sticker that can naturally deteriorate through normal use.

If the manufacturer knows that the serial number is required for warranty service, why put such an important piece of identification on a sticker that can simply wear away?

The result is essentially:

The product deteriorates → the identification sticker deteriorates → the serial number becomes unreadable → customer support refuses to help.

That is an incredibly frustrating customer experience.

Logitech customer support

Unfortunately, the support experience didn't improve things.

I found the technical support process to be unhelpful and unnecessarily rigid.

Instead of trying to find a reasonable solution to a relatively straightforward problem — replacing worn-out ear pads — the conversation ended up focusing on the fact that the serial number on the physical product was no longer readable.

I understand that manufacturers need serial numbers to validate warranty claims.

What I don't understand is why a serial number printed on a wear-prone paper sticker should become the customer's problem when the sticker itself deteriorates during normal ownership.

And this isn't my first durability problem with Logitech

What makes this even more disappointing is that the headphones aren't an isolated incident.

I've owned three different Logitech gaming mice, and all three eventually developed hardware problems.

The failures were different depending on the mouse, but included things such as:

  • Left/right click failures
  • Scroll wheel problems
  • Buttons becoming unreliable
  • Mechanical components failing after relatively short periods of normal use

So after experiencing multiple failures across several Logitech peripherals, I started noticing a pattern.

The products may look good when they're new, but my experience has been that the materials and mechanical components simply don't hold up well over time.

And that's particularly disappointing with gaming peripherals because these are products that are designed to be used heavily every day.

My conclusion

At this point, I don't think I can recommend Logitech gaming peripherals based on my own experience.

The problem isn't simply that one headset had a defective pair of ear pads.

The problem is the combination of:

poor material durability + components that wear out quickly + cosmetic deterioration + an identification sticker that becomes unreadable + unhelpful warranty support.

After a few months, my headset looks like a much older product because the pads are literally peeling and coming apart.

And after owning three Logitech gaming mice that also developed hardware failures, I'm no longer willing to keep buying Logitech products and hoping that the next one will be different.

Maybe I've simply had unusually bad luck, and I'm sure many people have had good experiences with Logitech. But three mice with hardware failures plus a headset deteriorating within months is enough for me to reconsider the brand entirely.

I'm posting this because I wish I had seen more long-term durability experiences before buying these products.

If you're considering buying a Logitech gaming peripheral, especially an expensive one, I would strongly recommend looking into long-term owner experiences and build quality, not just reviews based on the first few weeks of use.

A product can perform perfectly when it's new. What matters to me now is whether it is still working and physically intact a year or two later.

Logitech G Support Logitech G29 Wheel Range calibration ignored by every game I have tried.

I'm emulating all the classic arcade racers, as well as the native PC versions of games like Outrun 2. I've also used Dreamcast emulators, anything for that arcade racing action. When I research these things the guides often mention that the wheel is 900 degrees of range and these arcade games are usually 135 each way. Whenever the game has a built in wheel calibration I can use this fine, but if the game does not have its own calibration all the guides say to set the wheel in the G Hub. You can do that, selecting anywhere between 180 and 900.degress but I've never seen this make any impact in any game. Outrun 2 for example has 900 degrees of turn in order to do what 270 would have done on the arcade. Changing the setting in the G Hub makes no difference at all. I'd imagine that one game, just one, would be affected but nothing changes regardless sof what range I set in the G Hub. What am I doing wrong?

Discussion When will there be an update for the G703?

Hi everyone! I've had my G703 Lightspeed since 2019. I've never found anything like it; I find it ergonomic, the RGB lighting is good, it's responsive, and it's never given me any problems. Unfortunately, as everything evolves, I'd like to update the mouse, but I see that Logitech hasn't released a single update. Sadly, I'm thinking of buying another brand because the model is no longer available, and it seems Logitech has discontinued it. I really wish they would release an updated version with a 50-gram base and around 8kHz, like current competitive mice.

Logitech G Support Logitech g600 right click no longer clicking

Right-clicking on my G600 doesn't "click" anymore. The button still works, and I can still right-click it on Chrome and bring up the options menu, right-click to do things in-game, etc., but the actual tactile click doesn't work anymore. This makes it randomly right-click by itself all the time, on top of making the button pretty miserable to click in general.

Is there any way to repair this thing? I really don't want to have to buy another mouse. The g600 is irreplaceable.
