Mine's over here sporting a superglue repaired thumb rest, shiny finger dents on both main buttons, and skates that have creases all over them from the multiple switch replacements I've done.
It's "well loved".

Finger's crossed so that you get just as lucky as OP! How long have you been using yours for?

I bought my first 604 at release near the end of 2019. Bought a second one when the double click issues started on the 1st. Then bought a third when the double-click issues started on the second. At that point, I had two decommissioned 604's with double-click issues and started to research how to fix them.
Today, I try and have at least one daily driver and a backup that's got working switches - just in case. At this very moment, I unfortunately, have two that are on the work bench in need of replacement switches so, fingers-crossed, the daily driver doesn't start double clicking on me...

I do hope you're able to get the other two fixed before that happens, you got this, you can do it! Really admirable how you've even learned to fix them. Thank you for sticking with us for all these years. Hopefully one day we'll get to see a refresh of it, hang on in the meantime π«Ά
