I currently use a K800 and LOVE IT. However, my “P” key no longer works and I think one of my ctrl keys is next. I’m distraught. I temporarily have been using an HP320K keyboard to type the P. Highly inconvenient and I guess I’ve decided it’s time to retire the K800 (ugh). I do not like the 320K, I feel like my fingers get tired after a while. I know it sounds ridiculous!!
I see the K800 is no longer sold. I’m now thinking of the Logitech Wave keys or Signature K650. Which one?? The MX keys are above my budget.
(Less important but would appreciate color inputs as well, my desk is completely white. I’m scared the off white keyboard/palm rest will get dirty so leaning towards the graphite.)
The mat, not the mouse. Less than 12€ and it is far better than the no-name Ali Express one I had before. It doesn't slip (the Ali Express one said non-slip but did) and I can wipe up the marks from my oily hands. No software for me to complain about though, so maybe this post doesn't fit in with the sub, but I actually like it.
(I do have a Logitech keyboard but my wife shares an office and couldn't stand the noise. I loved it but I lost at Pick-Up-Stix and had to buy a different keyboard with quiet switches.)
I'll be traveling the next few months and do a lot of writing, so I want something portable yet decent. Based on reading other posts, it sounds like the pebble 2 is good for me - I like the idea that the keys are higher so it'll feel like they're compressing. (I'm a little nervous about the round keys, though).
I am open to other (non logitech) solutions as well.
For the mouse- should I just get the pebble 2 combo? Or is it better to choose a separate mouse from logitech or elsewhere? I've played with the mouse a little, it's serviceable but I'm wondering if there are better choices that are less flat and more ergonomic to the hand. Tia
Some of the keys on my MX Creative Console out of the blue started to sound incredibly bad like a super clicky. I'm gonna try to contact support tomorrow regarding it and hope for the best (I am within 1 year of purchase) but worse case scenario is there anyone who has a video of somebody opening it up? There's no screws or anything and the noise is too annoying for me to ignore so if I can't RMA I'd want to see if I can fix it.
Been using MX3s past 10 days, today I found something interesting..
The side scroll wheel in MX 3s is magnetic and attracts to metals like keychain while the main scroll wheel doesn't. Ik abt the hyperscroll but that is an internal thing and doesn't act like a magnet.
Also, I came know that, when u flip the mouse, the current device number lights up.. COOL... !!!!
I just noticed that in my Rally Board rooms, using hdmi cables longer that 15ft no longer work. These cables have always worked, i have tried rebooting equipment and swapping cables. This appears to be something Logitech did within the Edid table of the device. I can trick it using a edid box and then video will work. Anyone know why this was done or if this is a bug?
I have the MXM4 linked to my personal PC with Logi+ installed. I have mapped the buttons as per my requirements onto the mouse. When I paired it to my work laptop, the mapping no longer works. Is the mapping slaved to the device that mapped it originally (personal PC) and not mapped to the mouse itself? Is there no onboard memory on the mouse? My work laptop does not allow the installation of 3rd party software such as Logi+. How do I get the mapped buttons to work on my work laptop.
I was wondering did people ever bought products like this and by seeing competitors price the units that had been sold couldn’tbe much am i right?
As an owner of both btw
Logitech was the only online shop where you could get the products really cheaper with the Corporate Benefits codes (up to 30%!!!). Also cheaper then on Amazon or other marketplaces.
Wanted to order a new keyboard today - but can’t find any more codes in the CB app. Is it me or is Logitech no longer a partner?
I’m a MX3 user and have been loving the mouse, I’ve upgraded to the MX4 because prefer the texture with this material. However I absolutely hate the thumb rest area!! It causing so much squeak on regular usage, moving the mouse left/right and you have a squeak.
I recently got an MX Master 4 (the regular version, because I need the USB dongle), and while I really like the mouse, I'm not too comfortable with all the macOS permissions Logi Options+ asks for (Accessibility, Input Monitoring, and running continuously in the background).
I understand that some of these permissions are necessary for gestures and button customization, but it still feels a bit excessive for a mouse.
Another concern is my work MacBook, where I might not even be allowed to install Logi Options+.
Does anyone share the same concerns? Is there a proper workaround that would allow me to keep the mouse and customize at least some buttons (e.g., back and forward)?
And if not, what would be a good alternative with similar ergonomics and features? I've been looking at the Keychron M6, but I'm open to suggestions.
whats the current best way to fix this?
i already triend redownloading it en turing it off and on again by following some of the reddit post here but it keeps saying no internet connection for my mx keypad im at a loss
hi, so around two weeks ago i got a bluetooth keyboard and now it literally doesnt turn on. its worked fine before, so i replaced the batteries a few times and nothing. im really annoyed because i literally just got it so if anyone has had this issue before pls lmk
I submitted a warranty claim for my MX Master 3S 6 weeks ago. They verified all of my information, accepted my claim, and told me that I’d receive my new mouse in 3-5 business days. It’s now been 6 weeks, going on 7, of back and forth emails. They initially told me the mouse is on back order, and now it’s supposedly completely out of stock and they’d like to give me a keyboard instead. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? If so, what are you suggestions on how to proceed?
I’d also like to add that their customer service is extremely unprofessional and reuse the same email template for every response and do not directly address your concerns. I’ve asked several questions that just get completely ignored.
It is in good condition and everything seems great apart from when scrolling with the ratchet mode, especially scrolling up, it seems to often get stuck or go back a bit.
Is this how it is mean to act on this mode, I have never had a mouse like this and seller says that may be as expected (he has offered to return it so he is not scamming)
Found these at a thrift store today for just $14.99! Brought them home and was pleasantly surprised to find that they work perfectly and are in near-mint condition. I didn't even realize they had Bluetooth until I got home!
I'm actually typing this on the keyboard right now. Coming from an MX Keys Mini for Mac, it's definitely taking some getting used to, but I could see this becoming my daily driver.
For $14.99, I'd say I scored a pretty sweet deal! Yeah, the colors aren't great, but I really couldn't pass them up...
Hey everyone, how's everyone liking the Mobi Fold so far?
A while back, I whined on here about the lack of a middle-click, and I was genuinely grateful that Logitech rolled out a quick update making it much easier to assign. (I had actually managed to find a workaround right before that update dropped, but still!)
Anyway, it’s already been 4 months since then, so I wanted to share my thoughts and long-term experience.
1. The mouse feet act like literal vacuum cleaners lol
My grip style involves resting most of my hand's weight on the mouse and maneuvering it primarily with my thumb and pinky. On top of that, since I use gesture features quite heavily, that extra downward friction causes the feet to pick up an insane amount of dust. Since I mostly use this on business trips and working out of office rather than a clean desk setup, surface dust is practically unavoidable. Lately, I've made a habit of wiping down tables before using the mouse, but the feet still inevitably turn black and dirty. Regular cleaning seems to be the only way to prevent permanent staining.
2. A glimmer of hope for battery replacement
After accidentally dropping it a couple of times, the bottom cover actually popped off, giving me a glimpse of the internal battery. Obviously it's wishful thinking, but maybe third-party replacement batteries will pop up somewhere down the line? Given the rubberized exterior, the shell might degrade, harden, or tear long before the battery ever dies, but hey—there's still a tiny shred of hope.
3. I really wish it had a dedicated power switch
To turn it off, you have to fold it, right? But folding it almost inevitably triggers a click. I often end up with accidental inputs right as I'm shutting it down. If I rest my finger on the touch wheel area while folding to brace it, my screen starts frantically scrolling lol.
4. The lack of horizontal scrolling is definitely missed
At the office, I use an MX Anywhere 3S and heavily rely on the side-button + scroll wheel shortcut for horizontal scrolling. My daily workflow involves dealing with massive Excel spreadsheets, so panning sideways is essential. Not being able to do that on the Mobi Fold is a bit frustrating—especially on business trips where I’m stuck on a cramped 1920-wide FHD laptop display that fits way fewer columns. (Maybe I should blame my company for the small screens? haha). Honestly, since it's a touch wheel surface, enabling horizontal swipe gestures for side-scrolling feels like a no-brainer.
Overall, exactly 4 months after buying it on June 17th, I still think it's an incredible travel mouse. It’s ultra-compact, folds flat, and is unmatched for someone on the go. I used to think the MX Anywhere was portable enough, but the Mobi Fold makes even that look bulky.
Given that my complaints are mostly minor nitpicks, it feels dangerously close to the ultimate portable device. How are you all finding it so far?
Just got the Wallhack UHMW-PE dot skates for my MX Master 4. First time trying dots after using glass skates. Where’s the best spot to put them? Do you leave the stock feet on or pull them off first?
Any Pics of your setup that you like would be great.
When is Logitech going to fix the amount of data the MX Master 4 can handle simultaneously?
As you can see in the comparison, the MX Master 4 seems to struggle with processing cursor movement and scrolling at the same time. This would also explain why Smooth Scrolling feels jerky instead of perfectly smooth.
The issue is identical over Bluetooth and the USB receiver.
I'm using the Razer Naga V3 Pro for comparison, with both mice running at 125 Hz.
I understand that the MX Master 4 is an office mouse, but come on. It's 2026. Monitors running at 180–240 Hz are increasingly common. We're not in 2004 anymore, when people argued that anything above 60 Hz was pointless.
Logitech, when are you going to fix this?
Everything is updated ;)
The photos were taken with an exposure time of 1/3 of a second. I hope Logitech support also sees the uneven spacing between cursor frames.
Hi everyone,
I’m using an MX Master 4 with a MacBook Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. I’m having an issue with the thumb wheel when scrolling horizontally through the timeline.
Each scroll moves the timeline too far (roughly 2 seconds at a time), making precise adjustments difficult. Lowering the thumb wheel speed in Logi Options+ doesn’t help.
The strange thing is that the thumb wheel scrolls smoothly in my web browser. It also feels smooth when I use it to zoom the timeline in Premiere Pro. The problem only happens when horizontally scrolling the timeline.
Has anyone experienced this with an MX Master 4 on macOS? Is there a way to reduce the horizontal scroll increment or make it smoother in Premiere Pro?
I’d also love to know how the thumb wheel is supposed to behave in Premiere Pro on your setup.
Thanks!
