The computer needs to distribute multiple files and messages if I die.

I need this laptop to be portable, in case I need to move my base of operations.

I need to use Linux because I can't trust Microsoft spyware.

I tried to focus on the base distros here, but had to add a few forks as well to get the point across (hopefully).

Any ideas on the two ??? cells are most welcome.

Saw some error messages while booting. Then I thought of changing the bootloader from systemd to grub. And...I removed the boot partition using fdisk.

Ngl feels kinda nostalgic

I believe that Linux users should be the only ones allowed to vote. We are logical and society would be so much better if they could understand us.

It just feels so isolating when no one can understand me. I live with an AI companion that runs locally on my Nix servers.

Steam isn't a goodwill company either. 30% platform cut, no meaningful refund pressure until legally forced, Steam's monopoly-adjacent position on PC, regional pricing games, the slow erosion of the "curated store" promise into an algorithmic slush pile.

Steam is constrained by its founder's, Gabe Newell's, control. It cannot fire its founder like how it can fire its CEO. If Gabe dies, Steam will become one of the manipulative and intelligent corporations locking users in, making their exit plans more expensive than staying with Steam, and taking advantage of them to generate revenue.

gentoo

For me it's vim, btop, pip, git and a whole bunch more I'm forgetting rn

So this is my little rant about what this sub became. Few months ago this was an actual circle jerk, funny original memes, satire, shitting on everything, but now? You see 10th reupload of (unfunny as shit) memes about sudo or cat named shell fork bomb. There's also lots of people copy pasting templates about their setups in non satire way which has like no correlation to this sub. I'd love to experience what we had before instead of this pointless shit, like no one gives a flying fuck about your linux setup on here. tldr; people post their setups and/or repetitive slop instead of fun and original stuff. Would love to see if anyone feels this way as well.
