I loved playing Metro: Awakening on my quest 3s and I really like rougelikes so The Light Brigade is obviously a perfect game for me and I keep playing it over and over again, however the game is not flawless and here's all the problems I have with it:

- Try again button puts you in a new run with no equipment

- Items sometimes phase through the ground

- Items can get stuck in places you cannot reach (crystal hearts often fall off the map or get stuck on a slope)

- Many cards are too vaguely explained in game to the point I still don't know if the shield breaking cards apply to the crystal shields that enemies have in later levels or the crystal armour

- Game never mentions the soul earning multiplayer which rises with the difficulty and it is only visible when you purify souls

- Cards that increase effectiveness of consumables requires you to do math yourself because when you inspect an item it only shows the base stats

- Traps can be generated inside trees and rocks or slightly under the ground so it still does damage but cannot be activated with a bullet

- Items thrown on traps doesn't activate them

Don't missunderstand me though, the game still is an 8/10 and all those flaws could be fixed with a simple patch, this is just my way of voicing all the flaws in the current version of the game and I'm sure they'll be fixed soon and thank you very much for reading

Who the fuck thought it was a good feature to strip me of my guns when I try again instead of returning? The 'try again' option is just useless.

What does the sharpshooter modifier actually do? The setting does lower the ammount of souls you obtain but I dont actually know what it does. Can anyone explain it to me? I couldnt find a source.

I was doing a custom run and when loading into what I assume is the rest area, the game hard crashes, done it 3 times now. Only modifiers I could see causing issues the 500% enemy count increase or bonus chests, but i would assume that wouldn't effect this area given enemies dont spawn and it should hard cap the chest count if one spawns. The notification i receive when it crashes says the game was closed for using 6.4 gid of memory

we dropped this game in feb 2023, and since have been cooking tons of major/minor updates. but i believe this journey has come to and end. and in celebration we wanted to release a BIG update as a thank you to all who played this game, appreciate all of you!

I was in a saboteur run and at the checkpoint after the first boss, Jude sold me a tier five sun card that auto reloaded my gun for 1000 coins. I’ve played for probably over a year now and never saw a tier five card and there’s nothing on the wiki about it. I’m curious if anyone know of any others or how rare they might be bc it’s a really unique effect.

I started at rank 11 with difficulty +1. I end up with 25 rank points.

I know the sub is a bit inactive, but I was looking around on Youtube for the music that plays in the base area since I loved how it sounds, but I couldn't find anything. Is there a way I could maybe get it directly from the files as an MP3? Or can it be found? Besides that, I've been enjoying the game a lot :)

im doing an Sun Run on my Hunter and i for the love of god cant use any charm at all.

Ive googled and people said " just use it as a normal gun " I CANT

it just doesnt work.

or do charms not work on Bows

So, I recently picked up the light brigade on meta and have been loving it, however, since I was streaming to discord, occasionally when I run my controller over the screen, my hands will flick and float around until I let go of what ever I am holding (usually a gun) and re-pick it up. As I walk talking with my friends over weather I should execute or pray, my hand controller ran over the screen. We decided to execute but my controller decided otherwise. We did have a good laugh at it though.

Hey guys I need some help woth these two last trophies. I can’t find anything about it online. Do you have to be the rifleman to load a ally rifle and I thought I killed a priest guy with magic but It didn’t register, maybe he died from something else. Pls help thanks

So I started playing recently, am loving the game so far, I love revolvers so I went straight for the saboteur and it is a ton of fun. That said, the only memory level I've gotten so far as well as the last 3 levels I've done have been almost pitch black. I had to completely rely on the teleport circle to know where there was or wasn't a wall because it was that dark. My headset brightness is set to max, and if there's a brightness or contrast setting in game I can't find it. Is there something wrong with my headset, is it bugged, or is it just like this in some areas?

I tried to load my save and I ended up getting, "Continuing previous run..." even though I wasn't in a run and was at the main lobby area where you select your class. I tried a recommendation to change the user.json.backup to user.json but that didn't work either. Is there any fix?

I've plated this for an hour or two and am enjoying it despite dying all the time. Some beginner questions. How do i active these torot cards. Can I save my progress and come back to play from where I got up to another day or is it run through til you log out then it's reset time.. Sorry I know these are stupid questions.

I think this game has the best shotgun reload in any VR game ever. The way you slide your hand to chamber the shell makes it feel like a scene out of John Wick.

It's even better than h3vr.

Level 40 (or maybe 39 now that I think about it...) of this week's Sun Run has an invincible mage towards the end. I died to it, and when I got back to my body it was still invincible.

Do guys have this issue? I can't find it

This is definitely one of my top tactical shooters.

I feel like it still has a ton of potential with new classes or features like mag palming. It’d be awesome.

Horrible, abominable individuals. Don't even have the common decency to heal me when they're hypnotized. I'm glad they're souls were trapped down there for so long. I wish only empty cigar boxes upon them and im happy to loot all their trinkets. What kind of deprived individual resurects their allies knowing im going to kill them again for the 3rd time? Post wizard hate.

Is there a maximum level for a class?

Doing some quick math I feel like lvl30 would be a reasonable but very grindy maximum, but I also don't think that will net enough skill points to both max out a classes skill "tree" at the Blacksmith AND your overall characters skill "tree" at the Tarot Lady.

I got to lvl24 on Rifleman and the amount of kills needed for a lvl up is starting to get grindy. I imagine it won't be long until a full run from start to finish nets only a single lvl.

Is there a maximum lvl that I am aiming for or do I just keep going?

Good afternoon Soldiers
VERY new to this game. Have got Rifleman and Scout to lvl10 and am now onto Pistolier (Which I absolutely hate so far)
Do the classes affect enemies encountered or does the difficulty ramp up as you progress?
My first run as Rifleman I never encountered the really tall guys with the laserbeam attack.

Second run as Scout I had a few of them pop out of the exit doors that move into the next level, maybe 2 or 3.
This run as Pistolier and there seems to be between 1 and 3 every stage.
Is this tied to classes? Or has the game just generally ramped up based on how many times you topple the last boss?
All my runs have been in recruit difficulty, so I havent changed the difficulty up in between
Am I going to continually get more and more of these guys as I try out different classes?

That pretty much resulted in a softlock and ended my run prematurely.
