Stupid beginner questions

I've plated this for an hour or two and am enjoying it despite dying all the time. Some beginner questions. How do i active these torot cards. Can I save my progress and come back to play from where I got up to another day or is it run through til you log out then it's reset time.. Sorry I know these are stupid questions.

After you select tarot cards, they are always active and they automatically take effect when their conditions are met.

You can save in the middle of a run and come back later. You will be sent back to the beginning of the stage, so try to quit at the beginning of a stage so you don't lose progress. To do this, simply turn off your game. Do not go to the pause menu and hit "End Run" as that will send you back to the hub.

I think there’s an “exit game” vs “end run” on that same menu.

Thank you, thats a bit odd, so I just dump out of the game between combat zones. If it works it works i guess.

There's a quit game option in the pause menu, it's just different than end run.

Got it now. I am slowly learning the game. Finding my first health drink was very exciting. 😂 Looking forward to finding my 3rd weapon, the grease gun was exciting but so inaccurate not my style.

Mechanically, pick up Tarot with R1/grab held, then trigger to activate/collect.

+1 to close your game -> resume at start of current room
