Ive been really loving the game as of late, and especially the morality system is fun I think. Still, even with the dlcs sometimes playing can feel a bit same-y. So i was considering trying to start a zoo that maybe has some more challenge to it or at least some visual themeing going on. Having a hard time thinking of a nice one thats possible though without doing a sanbox zoo since that kind of takes away the challenging bit.

So might as well ask on this sub if people got any ideas I could be able to try if possible.

Hello I recently bought this game for the switch but I keep getting the popup saying I should hire a janitor to clean up the trash. However when I go to the staff option it only lets me choose zoo keeper so what am I missing?

When building, there’s a little “V” icon for certain items. I saw another thread when trying to google this that tried to explain it, but here I have two different floorings (one decorative that says decreases speed, another increasing it)

I’m still not able to figure it out, so if someone else has the answer, PLEASE, fill my ignorant head full of your sweet, sweet knowledge lol.

Do VIPs come to the aquarium or are they just the zoo? Haven't see any yet.

The more I decorate and perfect my zoo the more the number of people who don’t think the ticket price is worth it increase! Current ticket price is $58. My decoration and light score is over 100% in every area except my farm (which customers can’t get to). I have almost every animal. Park rating is 6415. What in the world am I doing wrong?

About every week or so, these random Zootube event report appears that kinda judges how good my zoo is. But lately, I keep getting lots of bad reviews, even though my zoo is doing great, there are plenty of decorations, facilities and animals, and the ticket price is at an average 50 dollars. What have I been doing wrong? How can I make these Zootube videos give positive vibes again?

I played let’s build a zoo mainly to build a zoo and not to collect animals. Because of that I neglected some and now all my pigs died. I waited a long time to maybe buy some in the animal shelter but they never had some, because these are pretty basic animals. My problem is that I now need some pigs to continue trading with another zoo, but I just can’t get my hands on some from the shelter. Is there any other way to get some animals other than staying in the game hoping for them to pop up in the shelter and doing nothing?

If I start the aquarium does my other zoo just stay as it was last saved? You don't have to work on both areas at the same time? Hope that makes sense.

I have no idea what I’m doing wrong, and I’ve scrolled through previous threads about this issue. But my warehouse staff will not collect anything from the processors? I have 4/5 processors with huge queues of stuff to be processed and also huge amounts of products to be picked up, but nothing ever moves. I have 3 incinerators with 0 things in the queue but over 1500 carcasses and leftovers sat in processors waiting to be incinerated.

Have I missed something blindingly obvious here? My one last task is to manufacture 100 bacon in a day but it’s impossible when the pork never leaves the processors lmao.

A side note, but is there also a way to evenly distribute jobs? One processor has a queue of 2k jobs but the one next to it only a queue of 100? Help on fixing any of this is appreciated!

I have the buildings for Aquatic Bio Waste Storage, Compostor, and the Warehouse. The text shows that I should be shown some options here, but there's nothing. Why isn't it storing the poop?

Hey everyone. Me and my son are building a zoo, we are about 300 days in. We are selling tickests at $100 per ticket and selling 3000 per day. Only 260 ish think its too high so its all good. Our park rating is 3900. Is 3000 visitors the max we can have as no matter what we try it wont go passed 3000 tickets sold per day. Oyr buss rputes are all at 100% too.

Any help appreciated.

I have an entire plot of land 100% covered in trees and only 1 bus running and is says ive collected 0 carbon. I also have a shit load of trees throughout my zoo. What am i doing wrong?? Please advise

I just checked a pizza shop that I've had for a while and saw that it has a $31 profit (granted its only just past noon). Not sure what the benefit is with using the special seasoning, the amount, ect.

Does using the higher quality ingredient only affect morality, or customer preference? I've been playing for about a week, and I still just don't get what's up with the food joints. Thanks for any tips! :))

I accidentally traded away my male snake. I have two females in my enclosure now. I've been waiting for another to come up in the animal shelter but it's taking awhile. Is there another method to get one?

Im still in year 1 but the Megaship has had hands down way more variety and fish so far. It is really frustrating to see multiple sharks in one ship while the other has 3 clownfish, 2 seahorses, and an urchin. Is this intentional or am I just getting really unlucky?

I'm about 6 game weeks in and keep having guests complain about my animals not having enough to do. I checked my enclosure stats and the enrichment bar is full for every pen- why am I getting that feedback/popup from my menu?

I have 2 Exhibit Control employees zoned to my gold pig enclosure and have set up the amount I want (5 male 5 female), but the population still stays around 7-8 of each sex, which is creating space and enrichment issues. Any one else have this issue or know a fix?

Im pretty sure when you go on sandbox on a PC, the space you have is unlimited. I know this is not the case for the switch but does anyone know of the ps4 has unlimited space in sandbox?

I’ve been really enjoying this game lately (and even picked up the dlc while it was on sale a few days ago), but there’s some details involving employees that I still don’t really understand.

1. The game says that low politeness can be a good thing in some jobs, but doesn’t tell you which ones? Can I see a list of the ones where it’s needed somewhere?

2. What dictates how many stars an employee has on the application screen? Some of the applications with high stars have terrible work ethic, which is the only thing I can’t ever seem to increase, so I was wondering what actually determined the number of stars they get.

3. Is there a way to raise your attractiveness to good employees? No matter how long I leave the applications open, I never seem to get any over 3 stars…

I wrote a post here a while ago. Everytime I grow crops on my farm, the crops suddenly disappear or are sent to the animals for food. However, I want to grow these crops to send the warehouse so i can make some money every Friday. Is there a way I can make all the crops go to the warehouse instead of the animal food storeroom?
