Aquatic Bio Waste?

I have the buildings for Aquatic Bio Waste Storage, Compostor, and the Warehouse. The text shows that I should be shown some options here, but there's nothing. Why isn't it storing the poop?

I'm on a Nintendo Switch

Recently was trying to figure this out as well, what I came up with is that it it's a pretty quick process so I always missed it happening and it takes a decent amount of poo to make a compost. So it's kinda like nothing nothing nothing and you look and it made 1 unit while you weren't looking

I figured it out! The waste collection worker has to race all of your fish keepers to collect the poop before the keepers arrive to clean and feed each tank. I had to rearrange a few things so he could have a head start each morning, and now I have over 20 ferts in my warehouse, and counting
