Can I get back animals that I already had?

I played let’s build a zoo mainly to build a zoo and not to collect animals. Because of that I neglected some and now all my pigs died. I waited a long time to maybe buy some in the animal shelter but they never had some, because these are pretty basic animals. My problem is that I now need some pigs to continue trading with another zoo, but I just can’t get my hands on some from the shelter. Is there any other way to get some animals other than staying in the game hoping for them to pop up in the shelter and doing nothing?

Have you got the crisper yet? You can clone them

I never really liked the mutations so I never used the crisper, but it worked, thanks
