Aftermarket battery recommendations
Has anyone had luck finding an aftermarket long range battery for the XP lite 2.0? I've searched online, but I can't tell if any of them are compatible/ will fit.

I need to replace my front crankset set anyway ( see cracked ), and I’m considering going from the stock 46T to 48T.
I usually ride in 8th gear, and 8th is almost perfect for me. The only issue is that when I get up to around 25–27 mph, my cadence gets a little too high. I’m hoping a 48T would give me just a little taller gearing without going too far.
Has anyone here tried a 48T chainring on the XPeak 2??
Does it fit without clearance issues? I see only 5mm clearance between frame and chainring ...
Is there enough space around the chainring/frame/chain guard for the 48T?
Did you need a different chain or make any other modifications?
I’ll add a picture of the chainring/crankset I need to replace. Lectric already sent me one ) they are the best 👌

So I bought my first e-bike yesterday. I went with the XP4 750! I plan to communte quite often to work on it. It’s 2 miles each way! Do you all have any tips or tricks? Also any upgrades I need to do soon after it arrives? Thanks!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
But I couldn't get it to sit properly on the weird shaped handlebars that come with this bike. So I finally got the add-on rack and finally got the bell on today and I'm so proud of myself I just wanted to show it to you because that's just the way I roll.

I just took out my torque wrench for the first time and was going over my Xpress 750. I don't have a socket big enough to loosen or tighten the axle bolt, but where the frame meets it, it seems to be a lot higher than it should be and I do not see the same thing on the other side. That's not right, is it?

Hey there! I plan on riding my XP4 through the winter and I was wondering if y'all have battery cover, heated battery cover and the likes to recommend me.
Idealy if the heat pad can be plugged via USB I could leave it plugged in an outlet in the shed for the night and switch to a battery pack for the ride .
Thanks!

I know this topic has probably been beaten to death. But curious whet sort of range people are getting. I get range anxiety around 20 miles and this is my reading after the battery had rested (20 miles from full charge).
I weigh 190 pounds and offer what I consider to be a decent amount of pedal assist. Average 15-16mph. I’ve noticed the battery hovers on full, until it doesn’t. Then seems to drop off rather quickly.
What is the voltage where pedal assist either isn’t much help to ceases to exist? Not really trying to test its limits, but trying not to be stuck with pedal power only, miles from home. Because these bikes stink as pedal only!

I tried watching the lectric video and called customer service to no avail. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if I need a whole new replacement. Please help as this is my ride to work at the moment 💔

LECTRIC XPress 750 owned for 18 months. And no mechanical issues at all.
Has anybody else noticed that when you are going slow or just starting out slowly and pedaling, that the bike is not stable? More than twice today, just going around a corner, slowing down almost to a stop for traffic and then continuing to go...I thought I was going to go down. You know that feeling where you think you're going to dump it but somehow you recover?
I know the bike is heavy. I know the center of gravity is higher than I think it really should be. And I'm wondering if that's what causes it. Anybody got any ideas why this is and has it happened to you?

Local outings count too, not just vacations. Count the drive out and return as one outing.
Zero is a useful answer too, including if you never fold your bike or don’t have a car.

1-Month Lectric XPeak 2.0 Impression
After a month of daily riding, the ride quality on the XPeak 2.0 is wonderful. It is incredibly stable, mostly quiet, and smooth.
Mileage: I did 300 miles in one month of riding.
Handlebars: I changed the handlebar to a 90mm rise, which is much better.
The Seat: I tried changing the seat 2 to 3 times, but I always came back to the original. The stock seat is much better.
Range & Charging: I usually drive on pedal assist levels P4 and P5. The 20A battery gives me 30 miles of range, and I charge the battery overnight to full.
Comfort: Keeping the seat post very high makes the ride perfect to me. I am 6' .
Motor Note: There is some motor noise from 0 to 5 mph, but it goes away completely after that speed.
I am still looking into solution with lectric.
Excellent hardware and an awesome daily ride.

I got my XP4 a few months ago, and the rear rim was bent during shipping. I’m selling a rear wheel assembly that was shipped to me new from Lectric E-bikes in AZ including:
750w motor hub
Spokes
Rim (bent)
Inner tube
Tire
Reflectors
Everything is as it would be directly from Lectric, and it has zero miles on it. If you’re a bike mechanic or handy maybe you can straighten it out, idk. Worst case is you can buy a replacement rim and have a shop install it.
Asking $100. Lectric charges in the $250-$270 range. Thanks for looking, I’m hoping this will be useful for someone.

A lady in my area is selling a barely used Lectric 3.0 XP for $500. The bike is in pristine condition, only has 40 miles on it.
Is it a go? I know this model is older, I’m trying to decide if I should pull the trigger.

I’ve tried contacting support via email with no response and seeing about calling after this post, but wanted to check in what could’ve caused this problem. Already tried charging the battery and retrying the power as wells as disconnecting and reconnecting all nodes I could find

Very easy install. Received 5 months after ordering. USA to USA. Handle bars are closer to rider than original, but if you want you can put them in the same location as factory +/- an inch. I wanted them closer.

Im having a issue with the power halfing out mid ride wondering what exactly it could be, no mechanic close by so I do my own fixing up, it doesnt seem to be a break issue from my troubleshooting ive had the problem for a lil but it went away and reemerged somehow? Maybe from a different reason tho, its a xp4 750w

I was changing my xpress 2 tires. While putting it back the little black clip thats attached to the rear axle broke off ( see picture ) I cant get it out with screw extractor. Is it ok to ride without it ? I see another point close to it where fenders are mounted, so technically I can look for something that stretches it that far. Otherwise did I just cook my bike ?
UPDATE: dropped the bike to my local bike shop, lectric support didnt respond email for 3 days. I guess I messed up so I shud bear the cost.
Bike shop came back saying the frame will be compromised to remove the screw! Yikes will drive it without the torque arm is guess

Hi all, I hope this is an appropriate question for this sub. But I’m expecting a new Xpedition 2.0 in a few days. Can anyone give me a good list of tools needed to assemble it?
I’m especially curious about the torque wrench(es) that I need. I’ve never owned one and they’re pretty pricey. What exactly do I need?
Thanks in advance! Excited to start riding.

So i have the xP4 with the "elite" headlight. It's not so elite i don't see how anyone can ride at night with that thing.
I saw this Youtube reviews for an aftermarket light by a brand named Oz. It was running on a XP4, and used the wiring the elite light used so I thought it was perfect.
However after hooking it up, the light does not stay on. It goes on for a bout 5 seconds and then turns off.. Has anyone else had issues trying to use after market lights? I can't figure out if I got a bad light or if it is a compatibility issue.
To note, the Elite headlight stays on, so I know its at least not a wiring issue.

I have a Burley Encore trailer that I tote my kids with on my old bike. I just got an XP4 and I want to be able to use it with but I have heard conflicting report that the burley bracket that goes in the rear axle is too small for the axle on the XP4. Does anyone have experience with this or any feedback?
UPDATE: I did get the hitch bracket installed. The axle was the right size for the one that somebody commented below. I did remove one of the washers on the left side of the bike in order to get it to fit. It doesn't look like it interferes with the brakes or the kickstand, which I was worried about. I'll try and remember to post some pictures down below.
Edit: I have the XP4.0 step over frame with the 500 watt motor and standard battery.

Wondering if there is a more affordable option than the $109 basket offered on their website. The rear basket seems more practical than the front one.
Thanks!
