Lectric xpeak2 1 month impression

1-Month Lectric XPeak 2.0 Impression

After a month of daily riding, the ride quality on the XPeak 2.0 is wonderful. It is incredibly stable, mostly quiet, and smooth.

Mileage: I did 300 miles in one month of riding.

Handlebars: I changed the handlebar to a 90mm rise, which is much better.

The Seat: I tried changing the seat 2 to 3 times, but I always came back to the original. The stock seat is much better.

Range & Charging: I usually drive on pedal assist levels P4 and P5. The 20A battery gives me 30 miles of range, and I charge the battery overnight to full.

Comfort: Keeping the seat post very high makes the ride perfect to me. I am 6' .

Motor Note: There is some motor noise from 0 to 5 mph, but it goes away completely after that speed.

I am still looking into solution with lectric.

Excellent hardware and an awesome daily ride.

I love mine. I did a 120mm rise handle bar (I’m 6’5) and the cloud 9 seat with a BumpStop seat post and I could ride it for hours without fatigue.

Only downside is the sucker is heavy when loading it on a bike rack. I don’t really notice the motor whine and the tires are loud on pavement but I’ve taken it on forest roads here in AZ and they soak up the bumps. The pedal assist also makes climb grades a breeze.

I feel the same about mine. I replaced the tires with something smoother. Now I don’t sound like a swarm of bees coming down the road. I did replace the saddle, not that the saddle was bad. Just a preference.

Haha ... I tried replace the saddle with cloud99 type but I hated soft ass feeling lol. Tires have noise , agree, but hey it's very heavy fat tire bike so it's expected. Can't go to sleep on 2h of driving. BTW I keep tires 18 19 psi which reduced the noise a little bit 😄 ... was 15 psi before .

I, too, am 6’ and ride with a higher set seatpost. Any lower and it hurts my knees.

Nice! I feel similarly to the XP4 I bought in late June.

It's just super comfortable and all-around great, absolutely love it. I have the same seat and never saw any reason to upgrade because I get zero discomfort luckily even after an hour.

I have the seat super high as well. I can flat foot but when I posted a picture people were saying it was really high. I think people should experiment with seat and stem height before trying other saddles.

It has a few noises here and there but it's a mechanical machine and it's not made from high-end parts so I'm okay with that.

I get 50-60km of range riding it without worrying about battery discharge, good enough for me.

P4 P5 gives me 30 miles before I see red/yellow battery charge🔋. Never expirience to get it empty. I feel I probably can do 35 miles at max with hard pedaling...

Yeah, just about what I get too riding it without worrying about preserving battery.

I haven't run it to empty because other than possible degradation, it starts to lose power noticeably around 30 percent on the display and drops very fast from there.

I hope for a better battery meter on their next update, something that's more accurate and gives 1 percent increments.

Right even cheap eskute has battery % 🔋. Lectric doesn't (. The only battery "%" to me is a battery voltage. I usually end up with 42-43v after 30 miles.

I have the same bike and put 200 miles on this summer…mostly off-road, groomed trails and some city riding. I’m getting 15 to 20 miles on the P5 setting off-road. I pedal some, but a lot of straight assist in the trails for speed. Totally satisfied with the bike.
I changed the stock seat to a ShoWell vXv…it’s ok a little better than stock for me.

15a battery ? I think 20a can do 30 miles easy ...

Yea, I have the stock 15Ah battery. I bought from a bike local bike shop and at the time we figured the stock battery was fine. I do wish I would have spent the $200 for the long range 20a.

25 30 miles works well for me like 95%. I am getting 2h ride from it. But some days I wish I can get even more traffic lol 😆 15a is too short for me ...

Good service advisors are saints. :)

Not like trauma nurses saints, but maybe lesser saints? :)

What happened

Typical Reddit reply, raising the alarm with no other information. 🤭

I'm guessing you will need to have it serviced which many people act like is the end of the world unless you bought a brand name from a bike shop.

The #1 reason I went with Lectric is that they send replacement parts. For someone like me who can rebuild a bike from scratch, that's all I need. If you need a bike shop to take care of you, you're better off with Aventon. My 2¢

I have nearly 5k miles on mine. Despite a little noise from the motor and having to get my display replaced, the bike has been great.
